In the future alot of companies will start accepting bitcoin. Steam nowadays is accepting it aswell so I think amazon will join too but late. The reason for this might be because they don't see enough interest in bitcoin yet. Alot of people have to use it.

I don't know, cause i am not a miner, but at my opinion better to sell everything actually to have enough money everytime on different upgrades.
I don't agree, I'd sell as much as I need to cover the bills which were made by mining and save the rest of the bitcoins. They are kinda stabelish now but they will go up again for sure. Yeah, saving might mean a great future for you. If the same thing will happen as it did in 2013 after the halving, we will all be rich here. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) True saving is the best option in my opinion but anyways this thread is so old and mining solo at home for example is not profitable anymore. But to your question to save or sell bitcoin, save it!

If no one spends bitcoins then the value of bitcoin will go down by alot since there is no use in having something which isn't used. You would see prices crashing probably and no shop owner would ever want to accept it as payment method.

My max amount is probably 22 I can't remember having more than that right now I have 17 and I am trying to reach as much as possible. I had to spend some because of emergencies but I am back on the saving path trying to gain as much as I can.

I also agree that if you don't buy right now, you'll the opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a low price. But regretting it is optional. It's your choice if you overthink the fact that you didn't grab that opportunity. It is all in your mind and nothing else. This is applicable in other opportunities that has come to you and you didn't grab it for your reasons.
Indeed but you'll regret either way when you start seeing the ridiculous prices one bitcoin can reach and then you'll think back about how you could've bought so many when prices were low. I know the feeling still from 2009 prices.

Keep your bitcoin and wait longer before selling it even if prices would drop right now still keep it and buy even more. In 2017 prices will probably go 800 > + and then you can sell or decide to keep it even longer depending on what you want to do.

Between bitcoin and paypal I like bitcoin alot more then paypal. Paypal has it's famous chargebacks where people can charge back their payment and force you to verify and proof the payment was a real transaction which is a pain in the ass.

yes it is possible but first of all you have to find the exchange who have big volume market for buying bitcoin because with small exchange there will be difficult to buy large BTC amounts maybe bitfinex or kraken is good place to do so
Yes indeed but you could also buy from multiple exchanges I don't see why that would be a problem maybe the fees. Or you could find a local reseller they make their own rules so probably some would sell you very big bulk amounts.

There's alot of ways to get bitcoin as you named in this thread so for some people to say it's very difficult or there's no ways they are not right. Forum signature campaign is something anyone could do so I always keep that as a guideline.

Steam accepting btc didn't affect the forum market as much as it could have. This is probably because there are better related forums where they can sell their steam related items much easier for bitcoin then they would be able to here.

I dont know how many projects already related to bitcoin is currently live, and others working with all crypto world ,but one thing is sure this new projects borning just make bitcoin get stronger as several of them is just to make like a shield around the crypto world.
Indeed bitcoin is not dieing anytime soon so when people say that then don't believe it. There's alot of money invested in bitcoin which cant dissapear in an instant so never worry about bitcoin being gone in the morning.

Kids are very visually programmed they are visual learners so the best way to learn them about bitcoin is trough videos and pictures with understandable language. Throwing wiki pages or big text at them wont work, anything visual and fun looking will work though depending on age.

I guess you could call it the new era for currency but I am not sure it will get big enough to be called that. Ofcourse it's one of the bigger currencies that got developed but to be on the same level as fiat will take a while for sure.

In cryptocurrency bitcoin doesn't really have any competition cause bitcoin is the biggest and there is no reason for people to jump the train to another crypto. Later on bitcoin will probably get competition though.

I never got profit when bitcoin was low due to me not being ballsy enough to buy it quick enough and the next day prices always rocket so hard that it doesn't give me time anymore to benefit from the low prices. Next times I'll be buying in too when it drops hard.

Dark marketplaces are bad places lol most people there are there for the illegal business so.. alot of undercover agents aswell. I've heard about this new black market called theMarketplace but it's pretty difficult to enter or something, might be worth reading up on if you are interested.
i guess some of the links on the deepweb that is indexed as a blackmarkets are just a trap made by the undercover agents or the FBI . i have tried to surf the darkweb and entered some drugs and weapon markets just to see if there are actually a illegal stuffs that are being sold there . Yeah, i also do same like you. I think it's very risky to buy something at deepweb, if it's a trap for the FBI you will dead, man. Actually there are so many interesting stuff on deepweb. Tons of interesting stuff indeed sometimes I browse it purely because my curiousity gets the best of me. But browsing it you see so many different kind of stuff which you would never see on ebay for example, very interesting indeed.

Nice list of ways to get bitcoin. Currently I'm into trading and I am still learning and making small losses and very small profits sometimes. Trading is difficult but at the end of the day I think that's where the big money is hiding at.

It depends what your plans are ofcourse. If you want to take risks then investing is better but if you want to be 100% secure about your money then saving is better since saving doesn't bring high risks but no rewards either though.

This two is different currency and uses, USD is good for every thing it can invest, spend any time and any people can used this while in bitcoin it is good for spending in online and investing in trading to earn money.
Indeed if people could do as much with bitcoin as they could with usd then the tables would be turned fast. We will get to the point where bitcoin will be accepted everywhere and then we can see how it faires up against usd.
