161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Spot Ethereum ETF on: January 24, 2024, 03:30:55 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2024/01/12/blackrock-ceo-larry-fink-backs-ether-etf/
"BlackRock CEO Larry Fink Backs Ether ETF
The asset management giant may now be looking to list an equivalent product for ether, the native token of the Ethereum blockchain, as part of its ongoing journey toward tokenization."

If BlackRock is interested, at this rate we could see it in a few quarters. Ethereum price could rise to $3,500

I knew this was the way ahead but hadn't expected things moving this fast.
BlackRock is not just another company but the largest fund manager in US which has it's influence in whole of US market. They manage around 15 trillion USD, while the total marketcap of all the crypto in the world stands below 2.5 million USD. When a company as large as that accepts Ethereum as ETF, the whole world will follow.
Now when the top 2 ETFs are on the market, there would be 100s of new crypto ETF would follow. This is a perfect pretext for the ultimate bull run in 2024.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best ETH L2 network? on: January 23, 2024, 01:47:44 AM
I've seen many Layer-Two networks built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. From Arbitrum to Optimism and zkSync, there's an alternative for everyone. The most recent one is the Base network.

I'm wondering which L2 network is best? Or which one has the biggest ecosystem of dApps?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

I'm using 10s of L2 network and I think I can answer it. BSC still tops in terms of ecosystem, it's quick and works as intended, it has largest and growing collection of dapps including dex, games, defi and NFTs.
I've stopped using Arbitrum and Optimism as they require ETH as gas. Wrapped ETH on the specific network are cheap to transact but it's a trouble for transacting and getting the ETH wrapped.
Among L2 with cheaper transaction fees, I used to use polygon but for some reason, the transactions are slow. So I switched my preference to Fantom where everything works fast and the transaction fees are a fraction of a cent.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to buy TON coins? on: January 22, 2024, 04:27:07 PM
One of the best way to get TON coin is through fixedfloat. You don't have to make an account. You can send any coin and receive any coin without any issue.
The fee are a bit higher than normal exchange but when you consider the in and out transaction fees in exchange and the withdrawal fees levied by exchange, the rates becomes much more cheaper than going through any other means. And it's quick and easy.
I got all my TON needed swapping my USDT on BSC network to TON through fixedfloat and even just now converted a small amount of Litecoin to Fantom and the balance was on my account within 2 minutes.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to offer 10% daily reward? on: January 22, 2024, 04:02:08 PM
No legit business can ever provide a daily 10% profit (for longer period of time). That's absurd amount for any business.
I'd say none of the legit business even can provide 1% profit daily for long term. There might be business achieving that but they won't be able to provide just the investors with such high income for a long term of period. They'll probably stop doing that or decrease their rate or turn into a scam. We might have seen new dex with good rates but the rate is decreased gradually as liquidity increases.
The link you provided is either a total scam or a ponzi in the process of going bust.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTT token everly hit it ATH again? on: January 21, 2024, 04:55:46 PM
In less than 24 hours today FTT token has pump at about %51 from $1.22 to about $1.80 so I said let me bring this information to the forum if there is any possibility that this token Can still recover to it's all time high again. Because sometimes one can use such opportunity to achieve something.
Although we talk about bitcoin investment always but just decided to share with us

You can share your thoughts on this.

FTX is gone, so are the FTT. They are on liquidation stage and it's not wise to keep any FTT token. There's a clear message in coinmarketcap that "The FTX bankruptcy proceedings are underway. The FTT token no longer has any use, and may be liquidated by the estate to pay creditors. Please proceed with caution."
People should not overlook. Not everyone knows about the condition of this token and they might be interested how high the coin was at a time. It would have been better for the exchanges to stop trading FTT for normal users but they don't. So everyone should have a detailed look on past, present and future of the coin.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin or token with high potential on: January 21, 2024, 04:42:45 PM
Hello,
What cheap projects do you know that have good potential?

Thank you.

It's better to do your own research than to believe on others and most people would be biased toward the ones they invested in and most of the cheap new projects are not even popular here. It is better to look at news and twitter to find new projects that do have real life uses and a solid roadplan to do something.
There are a lot of cheap coins that may have a good future. To state some in my mind, BTT could be a good contender. Another one that is still below a cent is Banano, they could be a hit as they are fast and cheap to transact.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Kaspa actually Bitcoin 2.0? on: January 20, 2024, 06:33:08 PM
Kaspa has over 1366 times more supply than bitcoin but it's a good coin with promising prospectus. It doesn't need to win over bitcoin as it's supposed to be a Layer 1 solution for smart contracts and dapps. So it's more like Ethereum 2.0 but faster and cheaper.
A relative success for them may mean they might have a good price. The scalability is not a problem at the moment and the fees are low but the TPS could be a limiting factor comparing to the competition like Solana and Ton in the future. Though they are planning to keep increasing the TPS but the nature of GhostDAG might have its limits.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launchpool: One Of The Best Staking Feature For Rewards. on: January 20, 2024, 05:07:45 PM
Launchpools have emerged as an exciting avenue for crypto enthusiasts, presenting opportunities to secure early access to promising projects and potentially reap substantial rewards. For many, including myself, this raises the question: Is this a launchpool worth exploring? Should we commit our valuable crypto in hopes of future gains?

To answer these questions, I believe firsthand experience is the best judge. I've personally participated in a few launchpool events that yielded significant rewards, like the RABBIT and ZKFAIR projects hosted on Bitget, both requiring BGB staking. These experiences left me pleasantly surprised by the token gains. And recently, a new launchpool with 3M SAROS rewards has just begun on this CEX. And it's also a defi project on solana blockchain.

Given these positive experiences, I believe launchpools offer a viable means for staking tokens and coins. So, do you think we can stick with launchpool for staking tokens/coins?

I have been looking for good launchpools where can I get good coins for cheap. The binance launchpool and other popular cex launchpool are both costly and worthless. Saw pinksale had some popularity but all they host are scams, at least 90%.
Currently I'm interested in UP which launches new projects in the launchpool and currently anyone can participate there staking their UP tokens and you get all your tokens back. It's like you are getting new tokens as interest. Though the price of UP token itself has come down compared to what I've bought it for but the staking APR are still high and for this particular launch, I can sell the earned token anytime and unstake my up at anytime. Not sure if all the upcoming launches would be similar or they are just for early promotions.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Crypto scammers creating traps to break the system security on: January 20, 2024, 03:35:35 PM
Windows is the worst operating system to use for crypto. It's easy to get keyloggers and clipboard hackers on windows. Almost all of pirated windows OS or windows software like MS office and Games are filled with attempts to steal your crypto. Android might be much better to use and easier and most sites are now mobile first but there too are several apps that copies the clipboard. But if you don't install apps that you are not sure, it won't automatically install things just by browsing.
The best way to handle crypto is to have a different device preferably linux distro that just have the official preferably firefox with a good adblocker preferably ublock origin and using it only for crypto related tasks. Still copying pasting your private keys should be avoided.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ? on: January 20, 2024, 02:37:27 PM

According to me this can be done by

1) Detailed research about the project and people behind the project.

2) Asking about the project on forums like bitcointalk where more experienced members can give proper advice.

3) Checking the community of the project on social media. If there are lot of bot replies or comments on their posts in social media like Twitter, there is strong chance that the coin price is being manipulated.

These are like general advice but do you some specific signs that newbies can spot in scam projects early. What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ?

Researching about project and team consist of finding what degree of work had been made on creation and planning of the project. A roadmap and plans to increase uses in future. A scam won't provide a detailed plan and it might be a copy of something else.
It's rare to find the details about the people behind a new project these days but of those that provide, it's easy to find more about those people on internet. Most of the scams have shady linkedin and twitter profile while popular real people are also covered in news (real ones).
The forum sure is a good place to see discussion but you won't find good gems early here as most new coin suggested are likely shill post. I look for listing on popular exchange and look for their utility, compare the alternatives and look when I might get a price deal on the projects as most of them pump at the initial listing.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Surge in Meme Coins on: January 20, 2024, 11:42:01 AM
Meme coins are the new elaborate ponzi. I don't mean to say all of them are scam but 99% of the new coins are introduced as a pump and dump coins.
I have been on memecoin communities and follow them actively. The developers there boast about how high they made their last coin pump and how high they expect to earn from their next coin coming next week.
Meme coins specially the new ones are pure gamble, and if you want to invest long term, you should avoid new memecoins and rather focus on coins that may have an utility and use case in the future.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we consider a project legitimate if it has been in existence for two years? on: January 19, 2024, 04:45:02 PM
It is absolutely a ponzi. There's no long term business or even staking service that can provide more than 1% a day for over 2 years. Some new dex might provide better for a short period or good traders might get better results but anything above 1% is outright scam for passive earnings.
The thing with ponzi is that they could have gone totally scam but they keep on running their website and advertisements so that gullible people would fall for it. They also buy paid reviews and some even selectively pay some users or known reviewers to create a conflicting report.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was robbed, and the severe setback made me rethink a problem on: January 19, 2024, 03:30:48 PM
There are several ways the private keys can be leaked so the best thing to do is to use mnemonic and stop using copy paste. I have switched to writing down mnemonics in paper. If my value are great enough, I might make a copy of my mnemonic notebook to cope with risk of disaster. Probably placing it on a bank locker far from where I live.
Defi are the present and future of crypto and it's where money is being made but it's also risky and insecure depending on how you use it and one mistake might make you lose it all.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins: Over 50% of Cryptocurrencies Have Failed on: January 18, 2024, 06:36:36 PM
Officially, only 50% are scam and unsuccessful projects

I am sure that the numbers can go up to 90% if we take the reports based on the price when it's launched and the current standing price. This isn't surprising to me at all because this is free-market and everyone can come up with their own project and blockchain like ETH,BNB helped their dream to be more easier cause they can just start their token journey with the minimum resources possible.

The numbers are already upto 99%. It's just that we don't count.
The chart is suggesting the coins that were at times listed on and tracked by coingecko. There are 100s of crypto projects specially memecoins and dumb forks of mineable coins that even don't make it to the coingecko.
This stage of crypto itself is a good thing for the future as investors and users would learn that not every crypto are the same. This would also make new projects struggle to prove themselves but when they get to stand out, they'd be a good option.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC gives the green light to a Bitcoin investment fund, is it a good sign? on: January 18, 2024, 04:19:02 PM
It surely gives bitcoin another level of legitimacy and establish it as an legal assets if not a tender. It would  enable ones skeptic investors to take advantage of bitcoin investment on their terms and with ease. This would solidify the ground for introducing other crypto ETF.
Not only would it be good for the ETF investors but also the long term hodlers of bitcoin as more and more bitcoin would be out of circulation as short and long term investment. This would create a premise for the next bull where all good crypto would have their share of stardom.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips for fast investment growth on: January 18, 2024, 01:02:30 PM
Tips for extraordinary investment growth
There is a simple strategy we use to achieve a fast altcoin growth. We make it simple. We chose LOW ranked coins whit a high rank number. Those coins whit less circulating supply have a much greater chance to reach multple thousand percent growth.

Good luck whit following my investment advice!!

    Meny, meny Thanks!!

I have thought of and actually tried this strategy but it doesn't yield the way we believe it can. Just choosing coins by price or marketcap is too risky. It's like investing in new memecoins just because they are new, have a low price and low marketcap. Some of them might get a high profit but many of them might just not stay alive for long to get profit or keep on decreasing on market price till there's no transaction being done. It is way better to look for promising new coins that could have a future and utility to make it stand out of competition and is long term. Holding a good coin is both safe and profitable when the bull arrives.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eloncoin : An Emerging Idea of Global Virtual Currency on: January 17, 2024, 01:51:07 PM
As I have previously said, Eloncoin is a lousy name for any coin that the developer wants to be taken seriously.
The name is okay for a 15 days pump and dump memecoin (like my favorite babyelon) but you can't expect great things and proper listing on A tier exchanges with that name as that could attract unnecessary legal hurdles for using the name of wealthiest person without his consent. And as many people claimed the technology Eloncoin is using is old, not as fast and not useful in any way.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three gems in my view on: January 16, 2024, 02:31:49 PM
Sui, Arbitrum, optimism I guess you guys are fimilar with there 3 altcoins, which are less then 1year old, launched in 2023. When i track their performance i feel wonder cause they are owning layer-two blockchain and their growth speed is very higher then others good Altcoins. I found these altcoins Valuable for holding. What is your opinion about these altcoins? Are you holding any of these or have any plan to buy?

Sui is new to me and seems better than at least Optimism and Arbitrum. I have had an unpleasant experience with both the Arbitrum and optimism. My first use of optimism was not as pleasant. Just like BSC, I thought optimism operated through OP as gas so sent my tokens first and a bit of optimism to start with but to my surprise, the gas there is ETH which I need to transfer by bridging through another network. That was so incontinent. The same is the case for Arbitrum. I know the fees are below 10 cents still but you are in trouble again if you run out of gas. There are already too much L2 options, what we should focus is on better L1 option.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you holding any gaming based altcoins? on: January 15, 2024, 02:02:52 PM
Thousands of altcoins are in the crypto market. There are lots of catageoy and gaming catageoy is one of these. There are some popular altcoins like Immutable, Render, The Sandbox, Axie Infinity are belongs to gaming catageoy and those coins are working to improve gaming industry. They were performed good in previous bull run. So many people showing interest with them. So do you have any gaming altcoin what you are holding or any plan to holding altcoins from gaming catageoy?

I have in past held some game based tokens but almost all of them are poor in performance. The gaming industry or the blockchain industry is still struggling to find the sweet and ideal way of integrating tokens, value and playing mechanics on a real game. Most of the projects that started by issuing ICO for a game are disaster, they were just moneygrab and never made an enjoyable game. The play to earn mechanics did bring traffic to newer games but when the reward started decreasing, they jumped into a newer. i.e. they were not able to retain users and their interest on such games. Now I don't hold the fully gaming based coins on a large amount.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin hidden gems. on: January 15, 2024, 10:55:05 AM
TON is a hope for me and many project ecosystems that have just been born from this big project, may not yet show any significance at this time. I feel like the bull season will come quickly, the promotion of new projects from the TON ecosystem such as tontogether is currently in process where people who participate in staking tokens up can get a tontogether coin allocation later in February and other projects such as TIA, COSMOS, ETHEREUM, BRC20 are being hyped

TON is amazing. we heard of its development years ago and no news comes out about it and then suddenly one token just emerges out of the blue on the CMC and outranks the best ones. right now there are already tokens using its blockchain. TON is big because we know millions and millions of people are using telegram and i they declare this token should be held by everyone in order to chat, it will have the highest demand.

There were words of telegram issuing a crypto but it was shelved for years and we didn't knew the nature of it. Some claimed it to be inapp coin for providing tip and play games. I too had not thought the it would not be just that but many more. Now, TON comes as a challenger to Solana and BSC/ETH/matic networks. TON has one of the highest TPS among utility tokens and is future proof for wide acceptance of crypto. The only downside is I was slow to realize it and the price has already gone up. Willing to buy more if goes below $2.
