I have in past held some game based tokens but almost all of them are poor in performance. The gaming industry or the blockchain industry is still struggling to find the sweet and ideal way of integrating tokens, value and playing mechanics on a real game. Most of the projects that started by issuing ICO for a game are disaster, they were just moneygrab and never made an enjoyable game. The play to earn mechanics did bring traffic to newer games but when the reward started decreasing, they jumped into a newer. i.e. they were not able to retain users and their interest on such games. Now I don't hold the fully gaming based coins on a large amount.

I still hold my purchase guild of guardians nft that I pruchase few years back. I literally sold some for profits and hold only the excess of my capital out. So when they release the game I am just probably using the free money from the investment I made before plus they are a triple A project that is supported by a lot of gsming companies and ecosport.

I have some but I am not counting on them that will have some good gains. Maybe it is going to give me some good profits but I am not expecting them to be that much compared to those who were able to make a lot of money out of them. I also have games of guardian NFT and didn't sold it yet nor have plans to do it since my plan is just wait for their release or it will just rot their then gain nothing. Also I have SLP which I earned way back before and until now still holding it since there's no sense for selling it and the price got drop so badly.

And now I'm acquiring ronin since I think this coin have more potential than any other gaming coins out there since I or many think about that ronin network will be used network by those game dev creator that want to enter the NFT scene so lets see how my patience to hold these NFT and gaming coins also there tokens go since if the value go zero still fine since I'm still in profit with this token and the only left in my wallet is the past claimed which I didn't sold in the market.

Oh good to hear mate. You bought on presale or was just accumulated on marketplace? Was able to gain my capital back then and flip some and now the remaining was a hold for free grind when they release. Id think theres a been a lot of changes when I visited discord according to some members there. And able to knee some gog free tokens from staking lucky Id visit from time to time. But Id hope they release anytime soon as their game will totally be a good one or p2e like bigtime.

yes, I have a game altcoin, namely AXS, I still have it from 2021, I even stake some AXS and I'm sure AXS will reach its heyday just like in 2021. That's all I have, the game-based altcoin is Axie Infinity.

I've never held a game altcoin before, they sound great and fun to play but investment wise, I've never gotten encouragement from the investors that I know to give it a go, just like you're not giving it a total green light as a profitable area of investment. The crypto market is quite vast and has many options to choose for investment, I have my special areas of interest like Bitcoin, although I might try gaming tokens sometime, if I see one that'll interest me to put money into.

I'm currently waiting for Imaginary One, because their game has already been released and the NFT price is quite high, 1eth for FP.
and the game has been played by more than 100k people, I think this game will continue to grow and hope to get tokens when the tokensale comes out, because they say they can convert in-game points to tokens when it's released later.

i've been holding gala for quite long time and honestly its kinda dissappointing in term of performance, thats the thing with game based altcoin they only good at the beginning and would disappoint in the end.
because the game are usually abandoned even there are some altcoin that actually are utilized for gaming turning into game studio and well the result is that they still hardly reach their all time high.
i guess the game fi trend isn't as big as before right now there are some games released even more so with the one that have partnership with binance they usually are quite awesome after their listing they gonna soar in price but usually after that its downhill.

Axie Infinity is bad experienced gaming coins and I don't have any ideas will make the same mistake by investing or holding any gaming based altcoin, its not worth yet many gaming based altcoin as hype only when their games success sold out many expensive NFT items game will make their coins drop drastically.
I think many holder are disappointed with holding Axie Infinity or other gaming based altcoin because they can't earn much profitable and price drop drastically.
Not easy waiting for recovering with gaming based altcoin, less community and lack investor trusted make many games coins have lower price and drop transaction volume in daily day.

Axie Infinity was my first gambling based coin, I was hold it long time but i sold of my 80% coin in the last year and i moved with another coin because it’s hype ended after big hacked incident, and it’s value decreasing gradually, as you can see that it’s buying pressure is very low, so i am not interested to hold big amount money with this project. And it’s difficult to predict it will be reach new ATH or not.

It was terrible loss for most that did invest during the hype of it. I think that the team of Sky Mavis did well on their marketing and they have launched it on the right time. And that is how the craze scattered all over the world.

The lesson now that everyone has taken is to be curious with every project that we invest and we do not bite to the hype anymore else, you are going to be the one that will catch the falling knives.

I do not have trust anymore with most of them because it is just hard to sustain their model although I am optimistic that someday, that, gaming projects are going to be like producing office job likes career in the actual blockchain industry the same as e sports industry.

of course I have some GMT tokens in my portfolio and have GST as well but I also hold more GMT than GST. I'm sure GMT will give me a 3-5x profit in the next bull run and sell it when I make a profit in the bull run tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to the next bullrun

For me, there are no interesting gaming projects using cryptocurrency tokens that have fully launched yet. At the test stage I can highlight Tarochi and Kuroro Beasts, Ducky City. I’m really looking forward to Earn Alliance launching its ALLY token and XAI adding functionality to own token.

Of course. As far as I know, GameFi projects are still one of the hottest topics in the crypto space and are considered one of the fields that will strive hard and be pumped hard in the next bull run. So I won't lose the chances. As far as I know, there are some projects that's believed to be flying high in the next bull run, according to Binance, including gamefi, socialfi, anything related to AI, real world assets, and many more.
