161  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: April 16, 2016, 10:49:38 AM
Kids earning bitcoins?
I would prefer they stay out and play some games in the sun, rather then spend their time in front of the computer earning satoshis.

Yeah, I too would just let my son go out and play..I won't obliged him to do such thing..Even if my son would insist...Too much exposure to computer is not healthy to kids...

If the kids always stay in front of computer to looking for bitcoin a day by day it will damage their eye earlier. Also potentially lose their childhood fun .

Kids these days always play with computer games its better that if they play some they also earn money and that could help them in times of crisis.

166  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [helping thread]Tanong mo sagot ko on: April 14, 2016, 10:36:50 AM

170  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you selling your bitcoins? on: April 14, 2016, 10:14:21 AM
I sell whenever there is a large enough dip that it would likely be profitable. That is how you stay in the green

Yes this is what i also plan to sell my bitcoin so that i can gain profit i will sell it when there is a large price hike that i see in the market.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: MMM affect bitcoin price on: April 14, 2016, 10:08:53 AM
MMM one of the known ponzi and i think it will affect for bitcoin because its a scam ponzi and many people are invested in that sites. so instead people will buy bitcoin they will not buy it anymore because of mmm..

There are only a few user of MMM and they dont affect much in bitcoin price because most users who are in bitcoin know that MMM is a scam.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price settling at $420. on: April 14, 2016, 10:07:11 AM
Price is volatile, from time to time it moves up and down, we can't predict its movement and I don't think it settled at $420 - $430, it keeps on moving, even now, it goes up above $420 last day and drop to lower  than $410 yesterday... So, in conclusion price is unpredictable, as answer to OP's question..

The price is still only $425. So the price has not changed much over the last 8 days. It is quite stable now.

Actually, if read the original post, you'd have noticed the date was in December 2015. So, the price hasn't moved since December 2015 til now.

The price of bitcoin is quite stable recently. It could be good for it to be used as a currency or investment.

Yes the price is now stable and is currently going up this is a good sign for bitcoin because of this we will see more user of bitcoin.
173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: April 14, 2016, 10:04:08 AM
Soon or later the price is gonna rise to a higher amount I have no doubts about that to be honest because the halving will almost let the price rise for sure, if I have to believe these people here, its just a matter of time they are saying and I must say that I'm believing them.

Generally, even with no halving that will happen, price rise will really happen. Look the big jump to $500 last year.

It will happen again and much more than no matter what.

Yes the price rise will always happen specially when bitcoin is being adopted by companies which will increase its price and the usersbase also affect its price increase.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: April 14, 2016, 10:00:02 AM
Bitcoin is on its way to become a global currency the advantage Bitcoin is, is that if you have internet you can make use of Bitcoin. The only thing that it misses is paper money.

Actually bitcoin is still not a global currency because it is only used by a few people and it is only available online,if 1/4 of the people of the world use bitcoin then it can be a global currency.
175  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: April 14, 2016, 09:53:36 AM
I spend my bitcoins everyday, but now i will accmulate more so i can profit before halving Wink

Yes this is also what ive been doing lately and im trying to get as much so that when the halving comes i have more money then before.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 14, 2016, 09:52:25 AM
I would advise to choose both. because, these two things are equally important

Yes there are really important to the bitcoin users who want to be successful in having lots of money they will just have to know how to do it properly.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: April 14, 2016, 09:49:07 AM
Impossible for bitcoin cause if you will ask somebody about bitcoin, 50% wil answer no. Other 50% will answer yes, but not everybody want to change current money.

that's true there always will be people who will never change and never adopt bitcoin no matter how big it gets.
besides there is always banks and government that doesn't want to see the old ways change because it is beneficial for them.

The number 1 enemy of bitcoin will be the government and the banks because they will lose profit if there is not enough people who will deposit money into banking and if there is not much tax the government gets.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Method of gaining bitcoin from scratch on: April 14, 2016, 09:46:07 AM
Method of gaining bitcoin from scratch means how to start. Well most of people start my faucets and then realize its way slow an earning.
but still there are a lot of faucet sites

Yeah for a newbie I think faucet is the best to start off at the initial stage, and majority of us have started our journey in bitcoin by claiming free santhoshis and I don't think there is anything wrong in it.
There's nothing wrong with faucets, nearly everyone started out that way. just takes too long

I agree with above statement. I met with Bitcoin via faucets and i still use them. I also try to promote my list in order to gain some refferals. I don`t think this has anything to do with being a newbie.

Yeah this is also what i did when i first came into bitcoin i have learned it via faucet and i think for about 2 months ive been using faucet but now i stopped it.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: April 14, 2016, 09:44:48 AM
Sometimes I wonder which payment method the scammers use less - Bitcoin or PayPal. I think I have been scammed at least 3 times using PayPal and I am very wary of the chargeback issues through buyers' banks accounts. On the other hand Bitcoin offers no money reimbursement so if you can't find a good escrow you are taking a big risk. At least I haven't had any bumps till now with my Bitcoin journey fortunately.
Either way, as customer, you can be scammed by both of the payment method Bitcoin and Paypal. I have been scammed once with Bitcoin and it is almost impossible to get my coins back. Besides, if you are scammed through Paypal the seller could sometimes win the dispute with invalid proofs. Both are gateway for scammer to earn quick bucks from 'noobs'.

Yeah right. Paypal main priority is user's concern. I don't get why others hate Paypal and I see no sense of choosing only one between bitcoin and paypal. If anyone has a problem with Paypal fees then change to bitcoin.

That why they are choosing bitcoin because they dont want the high fee that paypal gives there is actually a sense in choosing one it will help you make save more money when transferring money.

In my case I see no high fees there. But I want to know something. Is the fees per country are vary?

And what type of transactions where "high fees" applied?

Merchant fees for paypal cost varies where you are living and what type you are selling.

Sales within the US 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction

Discounted rate for eligible nonprofits 2.2% + $0.30 per transaction

International sales 3.9% transaction fee plus a fixed fee based on currency received

PayPal Heretm card reader 2.7% when you swipe a card or 3.5% plus $0.15 for manually entered transactions

But if you choose bitcoin then you wont be paying any merchant fee.
