161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nfts projects next in line for the bull run? on: March 12, 2024, 02:00:07 PM
I have just checked this project and to be honest I didn't find it much appealing as it doesn't have anything new to offer as it's same old NFT collectible token and there are hundreds like this in the market and moreover the era of NFT tokens has already passed and people are no longer interested in paying huge amount for an digital art as they did at one point due to influencers and celebrity endorsement. I personally wouldn't be bothered to invest into this coin.

I agree with you, NFTs only have a momentary hype and to be honest they don't have any fundamentals except just a useless crypto. I personally don't like NFTs because of their ridiculous prices. And in the past many artists and influencers promoted Nfts but in the end they tried to take advantage and then let nfts collapse. I thought how could anyone be interested in a digital image that has no real use case?
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use profits from the crypto market? on: March 11, 2024, 03:15:50 PM
Let's say that for now my profit from cryptocurrencies is really minimal, i hope to increase in the future, luckily i don't need it for everyday life so I reinvest them (the profits) completely, more precisely i put them on stake

What do you mean by staking your investment? It's much better than leaving your coins in your wallet. But you have to choose a trusted exchange for staking. You are lucky because you can use all your initial capital and crypto profits to keep investing in crypto. If you can hold your altcoins for a long time while still staking your coins, I am sure you will gain a lot of profit in the future.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How high will altcoins fly? on: March 11, 2024, 03:05:44 PM
Bitcoin price has almost reached $70k and Altcoins marketing also flying with Bitcoin including most of top altcoins. But as we know that, Bitcoin halving is on the way. So i expect correction in Bitcoin price as well as  the effect should be seen in altcoins market too but is that going to happened? Are we gonna have one more chance to buy altcoins with low price ? What do you think about this

Bitcoin has risen up to 200% if we look from mid-2023. That is a significant increase for Bitcoin. And some altcoins have recorded bigger gains and some altcoins have even hit their ATH. Meme coins, AI coins and RWA coins have risen 3-8 times this year. So actually altcoins rose much more than Bitcoin. But you have to be able to find an altcoin that has an increase of more than 200% if you want to get more profits from Bitcoin. I mean if you only get 100% upside then it's much better to invest in Bitcoin because it's a haven for crypto.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling BTC for Alt Coins? on: March 11, 2024, 02:54:25 PM
I have around 2.1k in btc rn and was wondering if I should sell it and invest in a couple of altcoin projects, would that be a good idea? I know Bitcoin will never ever do another 5x in the near future haha so that's kind of why I would wanna sell. The market cap of btc would have to reach a very high amount for it to be life-changing money to me.

If you want to do short term trading and follow the trending narrative, I think you can convert 50% of your Bitcoin to altcoins. You can choose several altcoins with narratives that are currently trending, such as AI and Defin. They can give you profits of up to hundreds of percent. But don't put your money in many portfolios. You can put it in 2 to 5 altcoins. And if the price has risen high, you can take profit and buy Bitcoin again. Altcoins can give you huge profits but the best investment is still Bitcoin.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any chances of success? on: March 11, 2024, 02:44:59 PM
At the moment I have saved up about 18 thousand $, the profit is currently 35%.
Please give comments about the quality of the assets in the portfolio and the possible profits that can be expected.

You have the best coins on the market. All your portfolios are big cap coins and have very good fundamentals. It is almost impossible for a coin to rugpull or exit scam. You have the best altcoin here. But such coins usually do not have fast growth. But I'm sure your portfolio has good growth. Those are two different things. I can tell you that you have made a good decision and you just need to wait for the value increase in this bull run season. I believe your coin will grow significantly by the end of 2024.

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: March 08, 2024, 01:17:38 PM
It is a general believe in the cryptocurrency community that Bitcoin bull season is usually followed by altcoins season. I don't know the logic behind it hence the reason for this post. The present bull run seems to be dominated by Bitcoin and its already taking too long without corresponding rise in price among the notable altcoins.
So, should we also expect altcoin season following the current bull run? If yes, what are the best altcoins to focus on?

I think this season's bullrun is a super mega cycle where there will be a lot of altcoins hitting their ath. Especially with fund managers such as Blackrock participating in the BTC ETF. I think there will be a lot of new investors who will get into crypto and some will try to invest in altcoins in the hope of getting returns of up to several hundred percent. I think this season is different from previous seasons. I see this as in 2017-2018 where Bitcoin became very popular on the internet and many people were curious and learned about it, making the value of Bitcoin and several altcoins increase many times over until its peak in 2021. I think this year is the same as then. But for popular altcoins I think this year there will be many new projects that become popular and replace old altcoins. Some well-known examples include Rndr, Fetch, Ondo, Manta, and Altlayer.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thorchain (RUNE) is soon obsolete, here's why. on: March 08, 2024, 01:11:35 PM
Earlier I checked CMC to see the HDN token. Based on the information there, it is stated that HDN is more than 2 years old, with an ATH of $0.17, 3 times greater than the current value. To be honest, I was doubtful about HDN because I saw the data displayed on CMC which was not very convincing. This is different from Rune which has verified data and many exchange markets. But of course hidden gems must be found on exchanges that are not yet popular. I think I'll try investing a few dollars there. This is not financial advice for anyone else but I see HDN has a similar concept to Uni and Rune, correct me if I'm wrong.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick profit is the only reason why we invest in Altcoins on: March 08, 2024, 01:00:01 PM
If you think there is any other reasons that makes investors put their money in altcoins feel free to share. I would love to know.

I do not think so. The only reason why someone would put their money in altcoins at the risk of losing their money is because they want a big return that you won't get if you put it in BTC. BTC gives you the security of your assets as it is almost impossible to lose their value. This is not the same as altcoins that can die. You can see the history on Coinmarketcap that 90% of altcoins from 2018 until now how many projects are still surviving? I think it's less than 10%. Altcoins can bring a good narrative that can be implemented from market needs such as AI and RWA technology which are the current narrative. But we don't know when that token will die and be replaced by a new token in the same or different narrative.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why people make money from Airdrops on: March 07, 2024, 06:56:25 AM
If anyone was a part of a genuine airdrop when the market were in red and kept holding on to those tokens till the market went green they will make good profit. There is nothing to argue on that part. The problem is to find and track genuine airdrop. In the current market condition it will be hard to find one as there will be more scammers waiting to gain access to the wallet. Anyways it is always advisable to have two or three wallets only for airdrops.

I agree with you and that is also the problem with most Airdrops. Those disguised as fraudsters use airdrops to access your wallet and take your money. Some airdrops also trick you into buying and staking their coins but in the end they are just coins without fundamentals. I think this issue is what makes airdrops have a 50-50 rating.

I believe Airdrop has very good potential but unfortunately I have never had a good airdrop.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not the future, it is the present on: March 07, 2024, 04:51:38 AM
I think we are currently in an era of transition from traditional finance to blockchain finance or DeFi. In 2016 - 2017 we can say that crypto is the technology of the future. But it's been 8 years since then. The era has changed very quickly. Currently, crypto has entered every aspect of life. And that is also accompanied by the rapid development of AI technology. I think crypto and AI will be our future.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Layer 2 projects worth watching now? on: March 07, 2024, 04:41:05 AM
Honestly I love Layer-2. They were created to solve problems experienced by layer-1, especially network congestion. Currently I often use layer-2 to make transactions because it is much cheaper than erc20. But I heard in the news that this March Ethereum will create a mechanism that will make gas fees much lower. I've forgotten what the project was but I think it was around March 13th or 14th.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you interested in investing in DEX's tokens in 2024-2025 uptrend? on: March 07, 2024, 04:30:35 AM
I was unlucky because I invested in CAKE and UNI when the price was very high. At that time I didn't understand the concept of DEX and I thought if they had DEX of course they would be in the top 10 of CMC. But my prediction was wrong. I had to suffer huge losses from those two coins. Since then I decided not to invest in DEX coins. But I think I changed my mind because of the 2024 bullrun season and I see that DEX will have potential. But currently I am still hesitant to participate in it.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use profits from the crypto market? on: March 07, 2024, 04:17:09 AM
I want to hear from you:
  • Have you ever been profitable and taken profits in the crypto market?
  • How did you use that profit? Do you use that profit or reinvest it?
  • Do you think using profits is also important for your investment journey?

In fact, I have experienced profits and losses from the crypto market. But I am grateful because I got a lot of benefits from there. Answering questions number 2 and 3, of course I still take some profits and use the rest to increase the value of my investment. I'm not a trader but I'm a long term holder so that's why I often profit from losses. Crypto will still continue to move and develop. There are still many people in the world who are not familiar with crypto and I think the crypto market still has good potential in the future.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Upside in Exchange Tokens on: March 05, 2024, 05:47:33 PM
Bitget in recent times have sought to push themselves further and expanded in virtually all areas of their operations not limited to collaborations, boosting user confidence by increasing their protection funds, there have been multiple launchpool and launchpad events that undoubtedly positioned BGB in a way to be highly sought after.  Other exchanges will experience the same if they put in the work.

I've bought some BGBs in the last few weeks because I believe that they will be one of the blue chips in the next few years. BGB and Bitget are still not big exchanges but I am confident in their future potential. I've tried using Bitget and to be honest they are quite good and currently they are improving their business. This is not financial advice but I myself have tried investing a few hundred dollars in BGB.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has AltCoins thought you a hard time lesson before? on: March 05, 2024, 05:36:40 PM
I think everyone has made bad calls in the past, even with all the prizes going up like crazy I am still in loss on a bunch of altcoins I bought years ago; on some of them I still have -80% (filecoin, the graph,…). Best call I made was probably buying some ETH when it was at 500$.

I also experienced losses on the hyped Metaverse and meme coin projects in 2022 where at that time I bought SAND, MANA, VRA, Shiba and Doge and hoped they could give me profits of up to hundreds of percent. But what I'm holding right now is a token with a loss of -90%. This is an important lesson for me not to be tempted by altcoins if you are not a trader and want to protect your assets. I'm the same as you. I bought ETH in 2022 for $1,100 and I still hold it to this day. It was my hope to get back the money I lost to those damn altcoins.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Only In a Coin that Increase in Value in this Bull Run. on: March 05, 2024, 05:27:39 PM
If a Coin or a Cryptocurrency Project that has been launched and it is not increasing in value in the bull market while others are increasing tremendously, I advise you not to invest in that coin because if invest in it and it's not increase in value now till the bear market again then when do you think the coin will increase for you to make a profit. Investment is all about calculation and wisdom and just throwing your money in the ocean and thinking that one day you will make when the water rise. Investing in altcoins is a very good idea and decision but invest wisely and not to regret later because the coin you invested was nothing but a cymbal drum from the ecosystem to make noise for recognition and the developers of such coins are not to make you benefits from them but for them to make money or profit from you as you invest.

I had a big loss in 2022. At that time I tried to invest in new projects and projects that were currently hyped like VRA, SAND, MANA, and meme coins like Shiba and Doge. These projects increased rapidly when Bullish and look even in 2024 I still lost a lot of my money from these five projects. I already recovered my money from Doge and Shiba but the other three projects even dropped to 90% of their current price. At this time I advise everyone to be very careful in a bull market like the current one. It's better to invest in altcoins like ETH or Solana and if you want to bet you can try new projects but DWYOR.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Season of Airdrops? on: March 05, 2024, 05:19:00 PM
I remember clearly when uniswap first came out, they gave record breaking amount of money, like hundreds of dollars per address, some people made thousands with multiple accounts, and that is just one airdrop. Nobody really saw that coming, and I bet that when the new bull run comes, there will be a moment when a lot of projects will do the same and it is going to be something that will make people forget about ARB.

That sounds very ambitious. I also hope that in the future there will be projects like Uniswap and Arbitrum that give a lot of money to their participants. My friend can earn up to $2,000 from arbitrum. I don't know how he did it but I did see $2,000 in his wallet. But he said that there were many projects he participated in that ended up being scams.

I'm not saying that we can't make huge profits from Airdrops. But expecting projects like Uniswap and Arb to give away hundreds of dollars to almost all of their participants is something that happens very rarely.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a benefit to joining miner pools in their early stages? on: March 05, 2024, 05:09:38 PM
OK, I have to stop here. Any project that promises this type of gain daily is likely a scam and having that much APR is because there are no investors yet. But I'd advise others to avoid any project that promises this much percentage as their ROI on a daily basis.
If everyone invests on that then we're all rich already but there's no way that everyone will be rich this way as it's too good to be true kind of ROI.

They promise unreasonable profits. I would never spend my time studying a project like that. If they can provide profits of that size then of course when the project already has an exchange the initial miners will immediately take advantage and make the project rugpull and end. I prefer projects that make reasonable promises such as clear goals and a reasonable vision and mission.
