user rudarSRB offered to sell me $110 amazon GC. he offered to send me the GC after sending him $50 btc, and after I claimed the GC, I was going to send him the other $38, for a total of $88.  he offered to "transfer" the balance to my account, and told me it would take about $30 mins. 2 mins after sending him $50, he's demanding me to transfer the other $38 and accusing me of being a scammer.

164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can i buy Bitcoin with PayPal ? on: July 25, 2016, 04:28:35 AM
I've bought btc with paypal on localbitcoin several times with no problem. everyone will require you to verify your identity before the first trade, but after that most sellers will sell you again with no problem. the rates there are around 10-15% extra. and you also have to pay any fees.
165  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 25, 2016, 04:11:56 AM
I get paid with paypal and trade everything to btc right away. I honestly don't trust paypal and hate their fees. I can buy bitcoins at around 90% value, which isn't a lot, considering how much better btc is compared to paypal
166  Other / Meta / Re: Have you ever clicked on a link in someone's signature? on: July 25, 2016, 04:08:41 AM
nope. and probably never will. I use adblock for a reason Smiley
167  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I follow BTC price instantly and accurately? on: July 25, 2016, 03:12:05 AM
you should probably look into charts if you wanna get serious about following the price.
I use tradingview with about 3 o 4 charts from different exchanges open. you'll get a little obsessed though. for some reason watching those charts all day becomes addictive Smiley
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: July 23, 2016, 03:54:29 PM
Actual bitcoins aren't used at all to pay for good and services. but since we can't trade our local currency for any other, people use btc to bypass the government ban on currency exchange. as far as I know, bitcoin isn't considered money, just a digital asset
169  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: July 23, 2016, 03:47:08 PM
pure investment. I hardly spend any of my bitcoin and only if I absolutely have to. I'm basically hoarding as much btc as possible, sadly, not enough at the moment. I think btc will reach much higher prices in the future. but that's only based on how great I think it is. I hate banks/fiat/central banks and how useless and corrupt the whole fiat system is.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: How can you earn 5% interest daily on your bitcoins? on: July 23, 2016, 03:37:02 PM
not possible. gambling is the only option, and you will inevitably lose money at the end, which is why casinos are so profitable, but at least you know it before you go in. any other kind of "investment" that offers something like 5% daily or even monthly, it's a scam, pure and simple.
171  Other / Meta / Re: Ticker to show latest BTC price? on: July 23, 2016, 02:52:11 PM
Just keep Preev open on a new tab all the time. that's what I do. all you have to do is look to its tab and there you have it. btc price.
172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will my method be a good steady income? on: July 22, 2016, 10:39:24 PM
there's no "method" on gambling. it's pure randomness. you are better off solving captchas
173  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: July 21, 2016, 10:38:24 PM
I basically exchange all my fiat to bitcoin. my country's currency is worhtless and I've been doing it for about a year now.

176  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just-dice.com ($15 to $500 to $0) on: July 17, 2016, 08:31:21 PM
turned out to be a very expensive way to understand how gambling doesn't really pay Cheesy
177  Other / Archival / Re: how to earn bitcoin fast? on: July 17, 2016, 08:04:49 PM
Why do you think people sell drugs or do other ilegal stuff? because they want to make lots of money, really really fast. and guess what? how fast you make money is proportional to the risk of it. you could make "1 btc" in minutes by selling drugs, but what is the risk? well, going to jail for years. if you are willing to take those kinds of risks, then yes, there's plenty of ways to make money fast. or you could be a sane logical person, and realize you need to learn learn learn every day and hopefully, all that knowledge will make you money. read a lot, develop some skill, search for opportunities. and remember, small wins do add up, as long as you consistent on your efforts. there's no "easy way", you just need discipline and be smart about it.
178  Other / Off-topic / Re: The bitcoin in daily life on: July 17, 2016, 07:57:12 PM
I use Bitcoins in everyday life, I pay for goods in store, I buy online, I even pay my bills with it. I have Bitcoin debit card and that makes spending Bitcoin much easier. Explain to someone what is Bitcoin isn't that hard if that person has some basic knowlege about internet and virtual world and shows some interest. But the best way to see all advantages of Bitcoion is when you try it by yourself.

What debit card do you use? I'm looking for one but can't decide which one.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: July 17, 2016, 07:46:29 PM
I gambled away about 1 btc on primedice always chasing what I lost. I was always sure after every new deposit I would find some magical way to earn back the .1 .2 .3 .4 .5 btc I've already lost and ended up loosing everything. but at the end of the day, I think it was a good think. I realized I have a gambling problem and decided to never gamble ever again. I think 1 btc is a small price to pay to learn that about yourself, instead of gambling car/house/wife in the future.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How would u make 10% profit off 100$ on: July 17, 2016, 07:26:47 PM
Whatever you do, do not gamble money you need. the only "safe" way to gamble, is going in considering the money you are gambling as already lost. is it going to make a difference in your life if you lose those $100? if the answer is no, then fine, gamble away. if you do need that money, find something else. gambling is addictive because we fail to see it for what it is. you "feel" that somehow you are going to win, but fail to understand the math behind it, and then you pay a huge price for your ignorance.
