Note to all.I was texting with @tayvano from myetherwallet. Yes, we met and had a dinner in Shanghai the night before Devcon2. She is getting 20+ of mails/texts/reddit messages from our community regarding myetherwallet adding native support for ICN and she is starting to feel annoyed ( https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet/issues/249#issuecomment-254580960) by replying to the same questions over and over again - and she says it's not just question, but usually comes with a lot of text why ICONOMI is great etc. I really appreciate everyone in community for sharing awareness. Thank you all! However, she says I can confirm to you that myetherwallet will add support for ICN natively. But I promised her to notice all of you to stop writing myetherwallet about that. They will include it! And since she is a lady, I hope we don't have any problems with that. We need to show respect to ladies. There isn't many in crypto community and in order to attract more ladies, we need to be nice - especially with them. Thanks to all for all the support! I really appreciate it! Should everyone be apart from the test to be able to receive the real ICNs later ? or If this test works for a few people means that It will work for everyone else ?
Also , you said before that those who fail to put their addresses in their accounts , will be able to hold their ICNs in their ICONOMI accounts , If they suddenly decide to withdraw the ICNs from the account (after ICNs are issued) , would the withdrawal will be instant or we should wait hours/days/weeks ?
test-it ICN is means for testing for those who wanna make sure they will have access with real ICN contract. It's just a replica of a real contract with a bit modified values in it. If you wanna test it before launch fee free. If not, not a problem. Just make sure you have corresponding private key of a public address you provide to us. If you don't enter your address is not a problem. Withdrawal function will be available at the same time as genesis is launched. Withdrawals from our website for smaller amounts will be instant, but bigger amounts or in case we detect login from unknown device / IP / country / etc they will be processed manually. With that in mind. If you for sure want to send ICNs out the best is to enter your eth address right now. Why am I saying this. You might hit on manual withdrawal from our website as first thing. Second thing, let's be realistic. Maybe we'll get ddosed. We were down not more than 5mins during ICO (the rest of the time site was accessible normally at normal speed and all), but there was nothing else. I was surprised, especially because of the amount raised, but I guess our Domen did a good job. However, we can't explode that. With controlling ICN on your own, you are dependent only on the network. Reminder for all! If you didn't switched 2FA on (google authenticator is recommended here), switch it on right away. Withdrawals without 2FA won't be possible and once you turn it on it will take at least 36h before account with freshly turned 2FA on gets withdrawals enabled. |

Since the hardfork happened (as I can see on a few posts) , Is there is anything we should do in order to receive our ICNs ? like updating our wallets or redownloading the blockchain ? or continuing to use the current wallets (Ethereum wallet) is fine ?

Hard fork just gives us working network and as soon as we can we'll deploy test-it ICN contract (t-ICN as a currency) which will be self destroyed (expression in ethereum) before real ICN are launched. Mainet's gas limit is still bellow one we need to deploy test-it ICN on mainet, but we shoud pass the limit in like ~2h. At that point we start deploying it (might take more than 2h as non empty blocks are quite full), and then it's gonna take some more hours to assign values to all the addresses. Regarding closing time for adding address from which you will have access to real ICN. At least 48h after test-it ICN is released and at least 24hours before we accept adding addresses from investors. |

When I read that ICONOMI decided to support the call by Liqui for trading their token on their exchange and also swapping of accounts, I said within myself that this is a bad move, I think ICONOMI have come back to their senses and notice that they are shooting themselves on the foot.
Exactly what I denied and explained in one of previous post that it has been abuse. Because tons of crybabies was destroying this thread I offered to act as escrow if needed and they can buy entire accounts (that offer is canceled by now - thing u exposed is one of reasons). Technically to us that is like asking us "can I change my email?". Liqui dropped that on our head and it make it appear like we're working together on this. While I stay in touch with Liqui just in a sense of if they need any support from our side. They are listing our IOUs afterall. We're not endorsing anyone or have some special privileges for anyone. But I'm available to all for support that have something to do with ICONOMI. |

We are staying on ETH. Lisk could be another option we would consider. However, in current state is not yet ready.
For sure we're not gonna build our own blockchain. This is not our game. We as well didn't build our own data center for our servers.

IMHO,. Iconomi deserves its own blockcain. Why couldn't a separate blockchain interact with an ethereum smart contract? Then expand the platform's limits with DApp development. And give investors the option to choose how individual dividends are paid whether it be Lisk or Eth. Why put 3500 *+ investor's trust and value at risk (especially fiat investors) because Iconomi's success is currently dependent on Ethereum. Stratis released its own blockchain built to create private blockchains for a fraction of Iconomi's ICO investments. If others understand where I'm getting at... I think its fair to vote on a better solution such as an independent blockchain. And do this by treating every account as a delegate. Personally I would rather wait until Iconomi has the best opportunity to go public then go out on a limb with Ethers current status on work load stability. I bet we would have easily seen 21000 BTC if the DAO hack never happened...
PS: I really like the idea behind Iconomi but I'd rather get dividends in lisk.
Ethereum: - consistent $4MM+ daily trade volume can easily absorb $10k to $100k+ worth of dividends going out every week - most nodes out of any crypto (7000+) means very decentralized network - cost of sending out 6000 dividend transactions every week on ethereum: 2.5 minutes and 13.5 ETH ($160) on bitcoin: 30 minutes and 1.5 BTC ($960) - 2nd highest hashrate of any crypto (6 TH/s) means very hard to alter a transaction once it has been written to blockchain As you can see, Ethereum is currently the only blockchain where it is feasible to launch a huge, dividend-paying project on. Ethereum is the only blockchain with a history of supporting tokens on its' chain with $100+ million market cap. Better to pay ethereum miners fees to use their network, than it would be to pay several developers to maintain a new ICN chain, which would be more centralized and less secure than ethereum. Now Iconomi can focus on fund management and building fund management platform, instead of wasting time and money trying to maintain and grow a blockchain. This sums up pretty much all the reasons! Thanx for the quick update.is there any chance that icn will launch before 25th if everything done with ETH? ICNs won't be launched before 25th. We're fully ready on our side. But we wanna make sure our investors are ready as well (after deployment of test-it ICN contract there will be step by step guides for Ethereum wallet and myetherwallet). |

A solution would be to give out the token and let the investors decide whether to move their coins to their wallets.
How to deploy 800k gas token contract with 500k gas limit? Before that was at least theoretically possible (practically not - we're hands on), now it's impossible even theoretically. |

My mist wallet has finished sync'ing, calm down. The Ethereum network is working.
Wanna deploy 800k gas contract then? Wasn't possible before with 1.5m gas block limit. Not sure I even wanna explain. I did in one of my previous posts, but it requires some technical understanding in order to understand why and how. Now gas block limit is 500k. If before was deploy at least theoretically possible (but practically not), it is now even theoretically impossible because 500 < 800. Ethereum network atm is far from working at the moment. We have to wait for hard fork first. @XbladeX: ur such a troll. I remember when you were shitting about polish translation like crazy. Once I put a screenshot of native polish speaker saying it is not google translated and offered you to do the translation you went quiet. Now you're doing the same. If somebody is not holding your balls, better hold your balls by yourself and calm down. First i wanted to sell but my friend told me to keep calm and to buy how much i can because he is sure we will see a big raise. x4 in his opinion is nothing for launch It's OK if u changed ur mind. Guys, I have just obtained information from people close to developers. The transfer reason not in ETH the POLONIEX and BITTREX exchanges don't want to place ICN at the exchanges. Because of specified in this message. They can't make under the law. Developers don't know how to solve this problem. Do you know that if you've invested in the ICO, you will receive tokens (or shares if you prefer) that will enable you to receive dividends on whatever profit ICONOMI will make with their investment funds? IF the token doesn't get listed (A BIG IF...), it absolutely doesn't matter since the co-founders will still receive their dividends. And IF (AGAIN A BIG IF...) the token doesn't get listed, ICONOMI like any other seed & investment funds company, will arrange an "exit strategy" for the investors & co-funders only. THIS. I honestly doubt it gets listed there, mycelium is trying to get listed since forever and they get the same reasons. they are listed on bitsquare though. and anyways, the actual iconomi products (index, performance, and following) are perfectly fine for exchanges. If you bought iconomi tokens you knew you get company shares with dividends, they are not meant to be traded like any other altcoin mycelium has nothing to do with ICONOMI, the difference is like day and night. Mycelium...where is token? If there is no token then of course it can not get listed:) |

At the end i like this iconomi relase delay, we must wait eth fork then we can do a distribution in a safe blockchain.
I would like to say sorry to the devs for my previous critic about the eth situation and the iconomi delay, you was right and i would like to admit that.( i think you have inside info from eth devs i don't have !:-)
We don't have such insights. But we do have developers working and we were hands on with ethereum network quite a lot. Therefore it was obvious for us to see the bottlenecks and we also concluded of potentional scenarious - simply because we were hands on. As they were unpredictable it was obvious for us to postpone. I'm glad others understand that now too. |

I can confirm one holding ICN amount with "yes/no". I will act as escrow. That is for selling entire accounts. Technically I will just swap emails and release the escrow. No fee charged. I prefer to have some extra work than have this thread full of crybabies when we pull right decisions. |
