all we get is peanuts. sometimes even no peanuts  Grin

Meriting is a somewhat new feature, and we've been around for a while. I'm meriting everyone who;s posts or tools have helped me in the past. Least I can do.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 (Windows/Linux) on: March 28, 2018, 03:46:42 PM
Im facing a curious issue Claymore. I am running 13 x RX 460 cards on an Asus B250 MiningExpert under Windows 10 (1709).
If I try to run the Miner with all 13 GPU's it just BSOD's right after it lists out all GPU's and starts showing ASM mode for them.
If however, I run two instances of the miner and split the GPU's into groups of 6 and 7 using -di, the two instances run perfectly fine.
I thought you had already optimized the miner for 9+ GPU's? Any Idea why this could be happening?
While two instances of the miner work fine for me, its sub optimal as a solution.

I have a rig based on H110 Pro BTC+ motherboard with 12 GPUs, it works fine (v11.5, latest drivers, Windows 10). Miner itself cannot cause BSOD, it must be something related to PSU (try "-gser 2"), hardware or drivers.
If you think that the reason is the miner, try some other miners to confirm it.

Hmmm. lidag or gser do not help, it just bsod's with atikdmg dll error. Swapped out the PUS's and no change. Additionally, all 13 work fine in one instance when clocks/volts are at stock, but fail when overclocked/undervolted.
What is curious is, I setup a second system exactly the same way today and that works fine overclocked/undervolted with all 13 in one instance of the miner. So now I have no idea why the first system wont.

Can anyone help me understand what is going on here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36rywvWKJz4
Like what does EPU 6 Engine do here? Or is the increased hash displayed incorrectly?

Those are impressive numbers. So the micron strap is at 2000 in your BIOS?
I see you're running 1180mhz/890 mv core. Memory is at 2140mhz but what volts are you giving to it?
I think I have an RX 460 lying around, ill see how high it goes with this strap ...
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 12, 2018, 08:34:28 PM
Reaching out to the ETH community. I have a substantial amount of ETH locked away in a paper wallet. I would like to sweep not only my ETH off of it, but also my ETC and CLO amounts, too.

What desktop wallet will support this, which is hassle free and easy to use?

TIA.

I can help you with that, just PM me with a picture of the paper wallet and your private keys ...

Ok so I tried to buy one of the bios on his page and the payment expired before the payment was cleared. Now I tried to contact their support and they don't give an answer. Looks like I got scammed.
You've sent payment late, so system close the order, it's very clearly said on order page, I think 30 minutes to send payment is pretty much enough. Then you sent me an e-mail at 20:00 CET and expecting I will answer and fix it on midnight? I will return your LTC, never ever order anything again, same applies for my guides not even try to read them!!

Whoa you really got triggered there ... calm bro, be patient with noobs, especially the ones that are willing to pay.

I see many requests from users but I still see the owner just watching topic and jerking
Yes, i am doing that all the time. I am watching bitcointalk forum 24/7 and i am jerking to every letter in every post that i read.
Becasue this is what i do all the time. I even do not sleep. I just jerk Smiley Is that the answer you wanted to hear ? Smiley

Just Ignore these bitchy whiney noobs Tytanick, you are doing a great job and we love it. Keep at it bro.

Please guys also don't order so many SRR devices in one order.
Keep in mind that there will be much more cost efficient to buy ONE SRRv2 and multiple Extension Boards

I bought 4 SRRv2 Cheesy Sorry Tytus, I couldn't wait for the extension boards any longer Cheesy
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [DEVICE] SimpleRigResetter - Auto reboot freezed rigs - AVAILABLE NOW !!! on: February 17, 2018, 07:32:04 AM
And the price has now been raised $20 to $170-$190. Learning from the GPU hounds are we?
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU fans started failing, had to improvise a little on: February 15, 2018, 08:59:50 PM
Ive had HIS Fans literally falling off of running GPU's

This happened to 4 of my GPU's and I finally switched the orientation of the GPU's to horizontal, I guess vertical position was putting uneven shear stress on the plastic and these fans were only tested for typical Computer mounting which places them horizontal. Just a guess though, could just be shitty GPU's and I may have more fail similarly soon.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 14, 2018, 08:17:05 PM
Nobody answered me so I have to ask again:
Can someone explain me please, why I CAN mine with my GTX 1060s 3GB without problem ETH but CAN'T mine ETC due to DAG creation error? Does they have not same size DAG?

Yes, they have not the same DAG file size.
Please check https://investoon.com/tools/dag_size for details.

ETC dag is currently 2.4GB. My GPU is 3GB so where is the problem??

List details of your system, make/model of all components including GPU's, what miner and driver version are you using, what is the size of your page file etc.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My rig get stuck lot of times a day and I think the problem is with GraphicCards on: February 14, 2018, 07:37:52 PM
Hi guys.

I have a Rig with 4 XFX Radeon RX 580 8GB graphics cards and 2 XFX Radeon RX 580 4GB cards + Mobo Z270-A PRO + Intel Celeron G3930 + 8GB RAM + HD 120GB + EVGA 1000 Source G3 80 PLUS gold

I am currently mining dual ETH + Decred in Nicehash.

I guess the problem I'm having with the graphics cards is with the overclock.

The 4GB cards factory comes with:
CPU clock = 1366 MHz
Memory clock = 1750 MHz

The 8GB cards factory comes with:
CPU clock = 1405 MHz
Memory clock = 2000 MHz

With MSI Afterburner I setup 4GB graphic cards to the speed that it factory comes in CPU Clock and Memory Clock, and I did the same with 8GB graphics cards.

If the graphic cards are setup like I did they should work fine right?

I setup each graphic card with the speed of the CPU Clock and Memory Clock that each graphics card factory comes but the problem persists.

What profile or how to overclock recommend me to setup graphics cards?

What speed of CPU Clock and Memory Clock should I use for the 4GB and 8GB cards respectively?

Several times during the day I have to be turning off the system because the operating system get stuck and I must cut off the power source to turn on the system again.

I hope you can help me or collaborate me with your experiences.
Thank you very much in advance.
Greetings!!!

1) Get a better power supply, 1000W fore 6 of those GPU's without undervolting is inviting trouble
2) Use a tool like MSI Afterburner to undervolt the GPU's and then overclock the memory while keeping core low

A word of advice... avoid using those M2 adapters - had an "fiery" experience with my first attempt, literally "smoked" right in front of me, and never tried anymore M2 adapters.
The culprit was the power cable that powers the adapter via molex from the PSU. Very poor quality those cables - probably recycled from power cables meant for floppy drives.

Smoked my first m.2 adapter a while ago (luckily turned it off quick enough to not damage anything else) have used over a 50 since problem free. The issue was, like you guessed, the power cables - DO NOT plug them in on m.2 adapters, not needed at all.

So much fun, XVG profitability decreased 60% since saturday, soon nobody will mine xvg hehe cause not even the electricity spent will be worth hehe

Pay atention you trolls, this will happen when eth is not minable anymore hehe, everybody will go to equihash or cryptonight and boom, only people with free electricity will be able to profit $0.10 per card per day. That will be so much fun, I cant wait that to happen. I will laugh at your trollfaces so much eheh

Oh you poor sad thing trolling and hating on every thread trying so hard to feel better about missing the money train ... you do whatever you need to stay happy buddy ... Choo Choo.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GPUs miners beware! on: February 13, 2018, 09:49:32 AM
This kind of makes sense assuming the numbers are correct for 32GB per 6 asics on each board. That means about 5GB of memory for each asic. If they are really using DDR3 (which again makes sense for an ASIC style eth design, since 96 GB of GDDR5 would be crazy expensive), they could probably get away with a 256 bit memory bus running at 933mhz (near max of DDR3). That would translate to about 60GB/s per asic or about 7mh, x 6 = 42 MH per board or 126 mh per machine at probably 200-300 watts.

Nothing crazy but is the equivalent of a 6 GPU rig, for probably half the power cost at half the USD cost.

I think theres some faulty math going on here, the article says 6 chips and 32gb per board, 3 boards, and a total of 72gb. Also it says 32 1GB chips ... how many 1GB DDR3 chips have you ever seen jstenfanop?
Now if it were 24gb per board, that would make some sense as thats 6 x 4 so each asic/gpu gets 4gb. In any case, no chip designer is going to go with ddr3, and a 28nm process for prod, maybe for a test/tapeout but not full scale prod, it'd just be stupid. This is just pure vaporware.

Also guys quit hating on Metroid, hes just salty he missed the mining bus, let him enjoy these few moments he gets, however fake they may be.

p104-100 - ddr5x 256bit bus with tuned timing can do 40mhs.
so this p102-100 if it will also have tweaked mining bios will do 50+mhs eth (wider mem bus)

This could be true, the guy that gave me this slide also told me expected Eth hashrate would be 50+ mh/s but I told him thats not possible since this is based off of GTX 1080ti ... but you make a fair point, the P104 was also GDDR5X and yet performed ~43mh/s
