161  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] SCAM BITTREX Exchange Website [Don't Connect Wallet] on: July 01, 2023, 08:19:47 PM
Why do individuals get tricked by such scams? Bittrex, being a centralized exchange, should not deceive anyone into linking their wallet to their platform. It is crucial for us to remain vigilant and informed about prevailing scam attempts in the crypto space in order to protect ourselves adequately.
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 01, 2023, 08:14:15 PM
Bitcoin's price exceeded $30,000 a week ago, but it experienced a minor decline since then while still maintaining a trading value above that threshold. Presently, the crypto market displays a slight bearish sentiment with no notable news impacting it. Nonetheless, the long-term sentiment remains optimistic, suggesting that Bitcoin could potentially surpass $35,000 by the end of this year.

Technology has had a detrimental impact on parenting, particularly due to the influence of social media on vulnerable and inexperienced children who are still developing decision-making skills. This article explores how schools have responded to this issue and the subsequent reactions of parents. It is hoped that other developed communities will take note of these concerns and work towards implementing effective measures through government intervention.

I'm unsure if the link is accessible to others since I cannot access it from my current location. Moreover, I believe that King Charles' comment alone may not be sufficient if it lacks support from the parliament.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: EGOcoin Bounty(FINISHED) on: June 29, 2023, 07:37:04 PM
Ego Paysenger recently made an announcement stating that the market has successfully rebounded after receiving favorable news, and they have concluded their negotiations. There is a possibility that they will be listed either on June 29-30 or July 3. However, it's worth noting that the bounty program concluded over a year ago, and all participants are eagerly inquiring about the distribution of rewards within the group. It remains uncertain when the bounty manager will provide an update on this matter.
The team has not been in contact with me for a long time. I am assuming Ego is scamming the bounty hunters.

166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gospel Preachers: Is Bitcoin the Last Currency in the World? on: June 29, 2023, 03:29:58 PM
Many Bible scriptures cannot be taken literally, as their interpretation often goes beyond the surface meaning. This becomes especially relevant during the period commonly referred to as the "rapture," when it is believed that Satan will assume control of the world. The interpretation of these scriptures extends beyond mere words and encompasses the profound implications of such events.
167  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Latest Statement from the Nigerian president. on: June 28, 2023, 11:23:42 AM

To some point, i come dey feel like say you be APC member 😁 but the truth remains that JAGABAN na our president  wedding we like am or not and him decisions go always be finally for we country so rather than wanting to fight, make  work with to unify the country and see if e fit better through that means.

See this talk wey u talk so near the truth but the truth be say, we fit challenge the government if the laws no go favour the citizen. Shae be the law na for the betterment of the country, why we go bear wetin pass us. I believe say we get senate house, so them go dey check every of ihn request before them go approve am. Thank God say power no dey monopoly for any leader hand , if not e no go dey easy.

169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Which of these Categories of Bitcoiners are Most Bullish? on: June 27, 2023, 02:02:35 PM
A Bitcoin institution appears to possess the skills to effectively navigate a bullish market, capitalizing on buying opportunities during price dips and selling at favorable peaks. They do not rely on lobbying efforts, investments in mining equipment or electricity, or seek patronage from others. Instead, their approach revolves around promoting the concept of purchasing Bitcoin while keeping their selling activities undisclosed.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 26, 2023, 09:16:30 PM
The fact that Modric decided to turn down an offer that size (assuming biggest ever means maybe like 200 million a year) was a stupid mistake. Think about it, Real already has a good young midfield right now, which means that Modric is less needed, and sure he is still good but he won't be getting that back again. So if he left, and played at SA league, Real would have still been fine, it is not like they need Modric to win otherwise they won't win situation. That is why if he accepted, both Real would have been fine, and he would have been rich.

I am not sure if he will get the same offer next season, there will probably some financial drop there. If it is a political reason, like cultural unfit situation, then I would understand, that's another thing than football reasons.

No one knows for sure what is the reason Modric refused the offer all we know he wants to retire with Madrid and yeah there is nothing wrong with that
He knew that Madrid had prepared a replacement like Jude Bellingham but the fact is he still wants to stay for one more season so at least for now money is not a priority for him although some people say it's silly. Or maybe he has other plans to be part of Madrid even though he has retired like what Zidane did? who knows.
I believe that Modric declined the contract due to personal reasons. There are certain things in life that hold more importance than money. For example, he may have a family member who has been dealing with a health issue that requires proper management. This is just one hypothetical scenario, and it is unlikely to be publicized in the media. It seems probable that the reason behind his decision is related to a family matter
171  Economy / Economics / Re: What roles does the poor play in the Economy? on: June 26, 2023, 12:04:09 PM
In what ways have the people living in poverty impacted in the economy?
Share your ideas on the importance of the poor masses in economy sustainability.
Rich people can't live without poor people as they will hire them to work and serve them. It was the fact that the poor people can't be eliminated in the community, they still exist because even though they wanted to improve their living but their thought about being contented to work with rich people who were also good to them, they stop dreaming big. Their labor participation helps the economy become sustainable as their role is to give service who are in need and we give thanks to them. That is why we must also be kind to them, not by taking advantage of their status.

The World Bank defines "poor" as those who lack the ability to afford food at a rate of $2 per day. Currently, the UAE does not have anyone in such a state, indicating that they are performing well. This demonstrates that poverty is not an inevitable condition in a country if it is effectively managed
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 25, 2023, 04:45:54 PM
It's no wonder that RB Leipzig is charging a price for one of its defenders. although to be honest, the price they charged for Josko Gvardiol was too high. I also read this news from several newspapers, including from Romano and TEAMTALK. Manchester City have agreed personal terms with the player Jugen Klopp wants to sign for Liverpool, according to Romano. both City and Liverpool, are in the market to deepen their defense during the summer transfer window.

City could lose centre-half Aymeric Laporte as he hopes to join a new club where he will have more playing time. meanwhile for Liverpool, a defensive overhaul is in sight as Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip have reached the age of 30+. that means, The Red needs a younger centre-back. Therefore, Klopp really wants to bring in Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig as the successor to Virgil van Dijk. sadly, City have come a long way closer to bringing him to the Etihad Sadium. I think City will try to negotiate with the Club to smoothen their plans. if this is the case, it is very likely that Josko Gvardiol will play in the Premier League next season. with status, as the most expensive defender to bring him to england.
I find it hard to comprehend the direction football is heading in when the team insists on keeping the defender as the priciest in the game. It's becoming increasingly unclear if Manchester City is recouping their investments through their extravagant spending. Personally, I don't believe Van Dijk should be sold, considering his statistics aren't all that bad. Silva has demonstrated that even at the age of 30, a defender can remain influential through maintaining good fitness levels.
173  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: IMF calls for the regulation of cryptocurrency on: June 25, 2023, 11:37:49 AM
I believe it is crucial for a financial global institution to emphasize the drawbacks of implementing a ban on cryptocurrency. Such a ban is unlikely to be effective. Regrettably, numerous individuals, particularly those within government and financial institutions, are benefiting from the cryptocurrency market. They comprehend the potential returns it offers but are unable to openly acknowledge it.

I'm impressed to see this thread open well before the start of the bounty campaign, and it gives me confidence that the moderator is committed to answering questions and representing the project. I would like to inquire whether the project intends to completely refrain from utilizing stablecoin, given its absence from the exchange.
175  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria SEC tag binance operations illegal on: June 24, 2023, 05:41:12 PM
I believe the primary concern for traders in our country regarding Binance's presence in our market is the assurance of uninterrupted trading and the security of their current portfolios on the platform. Despite the responses provided so far, I haven't noticed any significant changes that address these concerns. Therefore, I believe it is crucial to disseminate this information widely.

177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 23, 2023, 03:57:05 PM
In my opinion, Elon Musk appears to be more actively engaged in making business decisions within his company and engaging in political activities outside of business to advocate for favorable policies that benefit his interests, compared to Mark Zuckerberg. However, it seems that Musk may not possess strong emotional intelligence skills, and I believe that his valuation as the richest individual may be inflated when considering the actual reality.

Some topics and open messages do not necessitate argumentation, and a few posts may directly answer the question(s) before the thread is closed. I find the OP's activities commendable and appreciate their valuable contributions to the forum. However, the OP also mentioned that not all significant posts are acknowledged. I'm unsure about the meaning of the OP's statement regarding not reading the open message while still contributing to the thread.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I strongly suspect a sinister move here. You? on: June 22, 2023, 09:45:20 PM

Currently, it is challenging for anyone, whether it be a government or institution, to believe they can exert control over Bitcoin. There are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, Bitcoin is no longer confined to specific regions, locations, or races; it has become widely dispersed across the entire globe. Secondly, Bitcoin has generated more millionaires than any other asset, and these individuals possess fiat currency in their bank accounts to safeguard their social standing and protect their assets from the influence of other wealthy individuals. Consequently, they are shielded from oppression by their affluent peers.

I'm still puzzled as to why only a small number of individuals are showing interest in this project, even for the bounty campaign. So far, the project has managed to raise $500,000 out of the planned $750,000 to $3 million. While there are a few influencers who have been following the project, it's worth noting that Gain associates have also expressed their support and mentioned it on a few occasions in their Telegram group. Personally, I aspire to contribute to the project in some capacity before the crowdfunding campaign takes place next month, and I genuinely wish them success
