So I bought this thing a few days ago, along with Oyster, SpectreCoin, Xtrabytes.
Of those 4 coins (SHIFT, Oyster Pearls, SpectreCoin, Xtrabytes), the only one which has failed to yield any gains so far was SHIFT.
Yet I thought the project was so good, and much better than Substratum? It doesn't make sense why the price is so low.
Someone (or a group of people who pool funds) should pay John McAfee or someone to talk about this coin. it NEEDS to get marketed ASAP.
We don't care if the exposure is all hype - once they find out what it is, the price should rise quickly.
Why is the team not marketing this stuff? HURRY UP before Bitcoin kills the alts.
Yeah and also Bittrex doesn't accept new signups so it's hard for new users to buy Shift right now... we definitely need another exchange and marketing before the price can really fly. I have a feeling some new exchange might be coming soon. Had the same feeling for my other holdings like Lunyr (which was stuck in $5-15 range), and then suddenly Binance added it. No new users? That's so shit. What's the point of having this exchange then? How stupid is that? Can we PLEASE at least have Cryptopia accept SHIFT? Who knows how to make that happen? I will be looking into it personally if I have to. People will go to Cryptopia for good coins, and it is an underrated and over-bashed exchange. Just see Oyster Pearls as a perfect example of the fact that Cryptopia can be used very well for exchange volumes. And ETN too. the other option would be livecoin. lets just hope that they add a few exchanges before january but patience is a option too  |

the big bang will happen when it gets added to more exchanges its only on bittrex but has still a 100m marketcap.
with that low supply it has a very high potential to rise 5x-10x

Some of these comments are seriously funny, shift will prob reach $100 some point this year? Trust me it will happen early in the year, comparing shift to shitcoin ico's? what a joke. We have a working product and it's a big deal. Also decentralized web is one of the top 5 use cases in the blockchain space imo. So many shitcoins pumped to 1b or more in weeks in some cases even days.
You are absolutely right, but the tech is not the problem, Shift is light-years ahead of some other shitcoins, but lacks on marketing and exposure on bigger exchange sites. I believe something similar happens with XSPEC, it seems to be the better privacy coin, but the marketing is very poor. But both are doing the right thing, if they start a serious marketing campaign with a developed and working product, they could 10x in less than a year easily. yes the lack of marketing is a problem with this project. really hope that the 6 month marketing plan at the end of this month will exchanges make to add this token to their list. |

yes as you said we will see how this coin develops when the marketing plan is starting in this 6 month many things can happen.
its only listed at two exchanges and its a bit bad that bittrex doesnt accept any new members. i really hope that more exchanges will add shift.

use shift they delivered already tech and the devs are holding their promises. this coin is already in development before all the hype began. its good that this one is concentrating on making a good product than just marketing things with a ico. just take a look by yourself. the website www.shiftnrg.org is running on the dapp phantom without any browser extentions. this dapp makes it possible to host websites on decentralized nodes with ipfs and the blockchain itself runs on dpos. days ago the new website has been released with some updates for phantom that is running on testnet. the team has written in the roadmap that they want to release the full version of phantom with all the addons like jenga (a dns browser for searching phantom websites), hydra cms (a decentralized file hoster) and a own shift webbrowser (!!) in quartal 1 and quartal 2 this year. when you look at the marketcap and compare it with substratum it is still very low. there are many coins with great marketing and icos who collects money for the beginning. shift hasnt got any marketing yet and even if shift sets the milestone for decentralized internet it is still under the radar with 10 dollars each coin. with the low supply of only 11m coins it is possible to reach more than 100 dollars and because of the first stepper of this innovation it could even have the chance to be a top 50 coin. but even if you are not interested in investing you could participate in the chat at https://shiftnrg.ryver.com/index.html# and apply as a delegate. you can set your own node and upload a own website if you want to host one fully decentralized. its a great project and a great opportunity and the marketing program begins at the end of the month. its viewable in the roadmap. |

Don't listen to what people say on forums, for one...
do your own due diligence... It's not because some developer says his coin can do some trick that it really can... It's not because some shiny website says some coin can do some trick that it can, you have to research it for yourself, make sure it works that way for yourself, don't take anybody else's word for granted... This space is litterally full of scams right now, very little legitimate projects...

There are a lot of undervaluate coins in this period, many coins are on their all time high so i think these will be the next:
-ETC still very cheap
-SHIFT nice project and low supply
-UNIVERSA not yet on exchanges but it’s a promising project and it can easily do a 100x, ico price was 0.0125 and it has almost 5 billion supply

does anyone think shift price might go down? wanted to get some of it when it was in the 1 dollar range but did not. Now the price is so high where i think it would be hard for it to go up a lot. But if it does go up, you can't 100x it like when it was 1 dollar.
The current price is not high ! Like I mentioned above shift has a low total coin supply and marketcap ! This project can and will be 50-100$ at some point this year! This project has accomplished more than some of the top 20 coins that are just hype with no working project! Just wait till people see the real value here in relation to the project substratum the price is still low too. im wondering why sub has a much bigger marketcap while they didnt delivered not that much in tech while shift has already published phantom on testnet |

I am ignoring shift for weeks, thanks for the wonderful insight. Will consider buying this once I got my crypto funds.
