161  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell us about your experience on: November 22, 2018, 05:15:42 PM
I cannot consider myself as a crypto-millionaire, but I definitely find the whole blockchain ecosystem pretty enticing. Since I have always been keen on new technologies and I believe in decentralization, I am very curious when and what extent crypto will takeover in several parts of our everyday in the near future.
Cryptocurrencies are surely going to become a huge part of our lives in the future, it is not going to be an easy path to travel but we will eventually get there, the only thing that you need to do if you want to improve your life is to keep following the market and to keep investing in it whatever amount of money that you can afford every month, if you do that you will do well in the future.
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening? on: November 20, 2018, 11:19:30 PM
$13billions has just been wiped off of cryptocurrencies market and bitcoin has loss about $700 in just around 4 hour.  I will like to ask the expect here what is really happening?  I believe that for the last seven months bitcoin has not gone down like e this and bitcoin is the most hit.  Ethereum has seriously getting dumped too.  Are we heading towards $3000 as speculated by some of us here or bitcoin is going to recover around $5200.
What is the next step to take? Your advice is highly appreciated.
It is impossible to know exactly what is happening, I'm sure that even the whales are not completely sure about what is happening, but I really do not think they care about it because now they have the possibility of getting bitcoin for an even cheaper price and unlike many they are going to take advantage of it, so if you have any money you can try to do the same
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to trade during red market? on: November 20, 2018, 11:08:49 PM
I am actually happy if this bear market lasts for 6 months - year more, i can accumulate good projects (self delusion a bit, i know, but still, i can still see about a dozen or maybe two dozen projects becoming really huge) so i will continue to buy until im happy with the number i have. Then im gonna wait for a new bull run which is almost inevitable one day, cause human greed is inevitable.
Just make sure that you can follow your plan, your plan is very good and if you can follow it you will make money and if you buy the right coins you could even become rich but all of that depends on your ability to follow your plan, many have tried what you are going to attempt and they have failed because they were unable to hold their coins as much as they thought.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: November 20, 2018, 10:57:30 PM
It seems that the person that started this thread was correct, because we are not outside of the bear market yet and the crash that we are seeing in the price is a reflection of that, but if you are a long term holder the current crash is not really a problem and you could see it as an opportunity to buy many coins for a very good discount but very few people have that positive attitude towards what it's happening.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoins aren't tied to a conventional currency how did they get so valuable? on: November 20, 2018, 10:23:55 PM
Because there are not many of them and because it is very easy to exchange bitcoins among people, if you wanted to send a huge amount of money from one bank account to the other there will be a lot of problems along the way and it is possible that banks could freeze your money, but that is not a problem with bitcoin and that is why bitcoin has value.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the end of bitcoin on: November 20, 2018, 09:59:34 PM
You are right that if you see this from a long term perspective what we are seeing the market do during the last weeks is not really that significant, but most people that invest do not do it for the long term they are thinking only in getting some profits in a matter of weeks or months and what we are seeing is affecting them in a very significant way and if they sell, which is the most likely thing they would do, it is unlikely they will recover that money.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New price of ETH on: November 16, 2018, 10:21:10 PM
The price of ethereum is incredibly low at the moment, but to me that is a good thing because that means that you can get an ethereum for a very low price, I have been expecting a correction in the price of ethereum for some time but that has not happened yet but it is it eventually going to happen and when it does you will be able to multiply your money many times in a matter of months.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst year of trading for me damn on: November 16, 2018, 10:11:56 PM
All I want you to do is to tell me whenever you want to sell a coin so that I would go and buy that coin and make profit.. LOL.
Anyways I feel like it happens to me sometimes, price always seems to pump after I sell them, sometimes immediately after I sell them.
If that happens frequently to you then you need to adjust your strategy, I say this because that is something that I see a lot in the forum, people that buy some coins and then they sell them and immediately after that the coins skyrockets, that is a sign that you are not holding your coins for long enough and that you are trading too much and not holding your coins as you should.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever regret having gotten into Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2018, 10:01:22 PM
Interesting question, I know. For me personally the answer is no - I have not ever regretted having gotten into bitcoin, despite having spent hundreds and hundreds of hours researching the topic.  It's always been an interesting ride.

But I have a friend who got scammed and he regrets having had anything to do with crypto in the first place. It's pretty sad but there's nothing I can do about it. I even offered giving him half of the amount he lost from my own crypto stash (mind you I am not rich) but he's so scared that he's not interested any longer...
I have not regretted investing in bitcoin even for one day, it is by far the best investment that I have ever made and bitcoin is not even close to reaching its full potential, also the fears of your friend are completely undeserved, if a person was scammed with fiat currencies he will not try to avoid to use fiat for the rest of his life he will just try to avoid scammers and the same logic should be applied to bitcoin.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: No Crypto Taxes Until 2030: Proposes New Ukrainian Bill on: November 16, 2018, 09:42:22 PM
The bill that has been introduced in the Ukrainian parliament which proposes a halt on cryptocurrency taxation of any nature in Ukraine until the end of 2029, would definitely be something all crypto people would get behind. The questions is, how does cryptocurrency taxing work? And is there a fair way around it?
Well wouldn't that be amazing. 2030 is about 12 years from now (or 11 soon) and isn't that just a wee bit too much for a country. I mean 11 years could change so much and ukraine with the war going on with russia seems like it might be really in financial need, taxes could help out a lot in a country like that.

I mean don't get me wrong it is amazing for a country to just let the taxes be gone for crypto people, would allow faster adoption in a country and that helps us but I also do not want them to just say "we changed our mind, we want money now" all of a sudden and turn everyone away from crypto just when they get into it. You saw last year what happened with bitcoin when it reached 20 thousand and everyone came looking and it dropped, I wouldn't want the same for ukrainians.
Your doubts are precisely why that law is useless, is very easy for a government to make promises and then to not fulfill them, to me this is just a trap, they are trying to make cryptocurrency users to feel safe and to reveal their activities to the government and then they will take that law down and they will ask for taxes and even for penalties against bitcoin users.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Volatility: Creeping Evil or Essence of Crypto on: November 16, 2018, 09:26:24 PM
The volatility of cryptocurrencies is surely going to be in the market for the foreseeable future, the limit in the amount of bitcoins that are going to exist means that whenever the demand for bitcoin goes up there is not enough coins to meet the demand and that is what makes the price of bitcoin to skyrocket and since the limit of coins is not going to change then the volatility will be here for a long time.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: What factors cause the fall in price of Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2018, 11:26:16 PM
Panic selling is what draws the price of Bitcoin so down to the drain. Any event which leads to panic selling of Bitcoin can be considered as a contributing factor. The news of a hacked exchange site, false news from governments, banks and the media, a Bitcoin advocate country later banning Bitcoins etc. All these factors contribute to the fall in price of Bitcoin on the market.
We cannot blame everything to panic sellers, it is true they make the price to go down but that is not all, the price is also affected by the lack of demand and when people began seeing the price of bitcoin going down they decided to wait and stop investing, this simple detail pushed the price even lower since no new money was being invested in the market.

The moments we undergone last few months still at bull trap, which affected the price of bitcoin to fall down. However those challenges made every holders so strong on their growth with crypto, and I don't think people will be discourage at all but I think more people will be much interested with crypto now.
I have been thinking for some time about this and it is very likely that you are right, maybe we are in a bull trap, it seemed for the past days that the price of several altcoins were recovering and that we could get some of the money that we lost during the last crash and yet what we are seeing right now is the market of cryptocurrencies suffering a correction and so we are losing even more money now.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: November 14, 2018, 11:22:36 PM
For those who experienced investing in criptocurrency, our market are already go back in the normal situation. Noting to worrt or ba panic. But for those who had currently invested are you afraid when you woke up and you try to look in the market and all criptos slowly falling down. What are you going to do?  Hold or Sell?

Can you give me an advice what is the best way to invest?

What do you choose a long term investment or a short time investment?

Share your opinions

Thank you in advance.
It will depend on what you feel more comfortable, if you like the idea of monitoring the markets every day then it could be a good idea for you to make short term investments, but if you prefer a more relaxed way of investing in which you do not need to watch the markets every day then investing for the long term could be good for you especially if you do not have the time because you have another job.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FAILED ICO - FAILED BOUNTIES on: November 14, 2018, 11:18:01 PM
Bounty campaigns are currently in a troubled period but I think they continue to participate.Because in the future, it may turn into a surprise.
You do not really know how much time you're going to need to wait for the coins that you receive after a bounty campaign to have any value and when we take into account that most coins disappear after a few months of being in the market and we also consider that the market is not giving signs that it is going to recover it is likely that your participation in those campaigns is going to be futile.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The whole market is red, but is it worth panicking now? on: November 14, 2018, 11:11:37 PM
The whole market is red, many altcoins are in the red.Should we panic? Many say that after the stock market fell and the crypt. Although the crypt is not connected with the stock market in any way, such rollbacks speak only about the ease of manipulation in the crypto market. In General, there are prerequisites for a quick return of positions.I think if you are planning to buy the crypt, it is probably reasonable to buy it for 30% of the Bank. What do You think about this?Share your opinion.
Even in the current circumstances in which the whole market of cryptocurrencies is going down it is a mistake to panic, because if you panic you are going to take bad decisions based on impulses, and if you do that you are going to make mistakes and those mistakes can be very costly, so the best thing to do even if it is very difficult is to try to remain as calm as possible.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the correct time to purchase bitcoins and al-crypto? on: November 14, 2018, 10:29:20 PM
At the moment we are seeing a very heavy correction in the market of cryptocurrencies, I really do not believe this correction is going to last long so this can be a big opportunity to make some easy money in a very short amount of time, you can buy bitcoin at 5800 and sell it at 6500 in the next few weeks that is a profit of 700 for each bitcoin that you buy which is not bad.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to buy after ICO because price may drop? on: November 13, 2018, 11:50:04 PM
The system I recent adopt is the buying after ICO method for the fact most tokens drop below ICO price on hitting exchange. Though, some have different strategies.
That only makes sense if the coin that you are buying is able to recover, something that is very difficult to do in the current market conditions, I'm not saying that it is impossible I'm just saying that is very unlikely, if I were you I will wait a lot longer before investing in any ico again because it is likely that you are never going to recover your money if you invest in icos now.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Global financial crisis on: November 13, 2018, 11:46:03 PM
I think that there is no crisis and its never exist. This is a specially created situation for people to make them panic and to start selling stocks or coins or buying everything in large quantities. I am sure that this is a kind of market engine.
I disagree crisis are real, it is true that from time to time some powerful people try to manipulate the market, but even if they are so powerful they lose control of the economy and they need the help of the governments to try to stabilize things, that is why you need to be prepared just in case that happens again but unfortunately many people never listen and they suffer the consequences of that mistake.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell us about your experience on: November 13, 2018, 11:42:40 PM
I have some experience with cryptocurrencies but I'm not thinking about the short term I have invested a small amount of money every month since I became aware that they existed, I do not really plan to become rich with cryptocurrencies as many people in the forum want, what I want out of them is that they allow me to have an easier life in the future.
180  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are Calm!! on: November 13, 2018, 11:36:47 PM
People are calm, but slowly some of us are loosing their cool. With the increasing number of crypto scams, few countries putting a ban on crypto currencies and the stagnant price of BTC at 6-7k mark, it has been a tough and tiring year for Bitcoiners!! I mean last year was fun, with bitcoin hitting 20k. I wonder when BTC will stand up again and bring back the glorious days. Hoping for the best.. Cheers
To me it seems as if we already saw the worst, the market has already crashed, most of those that were holding their coins already sold them in a state of panic, so the people that remain are a lot more calm as you say but they are able to endure all of these bad circumstances that are surrounding bitcoin because they know that in the future they will obtain great benefits out of it.
