If you are sure that the project is good, and in the future the price of its token will grow - then of course it is profitable to buy after ICO at low prices. It all depends directly on the choice of the coin.

Since investors has seen that so many people are dumpers after ICOs they also try not buy tokens at the ICO level but rather immediately it is listed. I think its a good idea to buy after ICO.

This logic is now working as mostly all ICO coins are available now much below their ICO price and many good old altcoins are also available at rock bottom prices and you can choose from both.

The main idea of buying during the ICO is to receive as much bonuses as possible, so the ICO price you see on the website and the real ICO price may differ by up to 30 or even 40%.

The real situation is that everything is more sad that we can imagine. Nearly all the projects show us not real results on the counter, the higher numbers, but in fact the collected cap of the project is 10 times lower that is shown officially on the scren to us. Personally I buy interesting coins after they appear on the exchange, because the price on coins is lower and more interesting there.

Some bounty hunters who are also investors take time to research into projects and come out with good projects with much capabilities of becoming successful. These type of Bounty hunters cease the opportunity to buy more of that coin at low prices below ICO prices after the ICO and listing on exchange. Most coins get started on the with lower than ICO prices.
If you are completely sure that the project in which you are interested is not a scam then the strategy to wait after the ico and get the tokens for cheap is a strategy that can definitely work, but what are the chances that you have identified a project that is not a scam and that will make you money in this bear market? Probably less than 10% so only do that if you are completely convinced about the project.

What you are telling if the investment done for shorter period but if the project is good and the returns will be good on long term then it is good as market will recover after some time and that time this type of good projects will surely get support and your investment in low price will sure give you good return. So investing in good ICO after it get listed is a good option as you can know the value of the ICO and get the price lower
While that is true what are the chances that any of the icos released right now are going to give profits in the short term? Because as we can see most icos are not even getting enough money to start their project and the ones that get enough funding are not that much better and this means that if you want to obtain profits you need to concentrate in short term profits.

Yes, it's really a problem. In fact, this problem mainly affects the overall investment climate. At the moment, few projects that immediately after the listing will rise in price. The only advantage investors have at the time of pre-sale when there are very large discounts and bonuses when buying tokens.

Most currencies after the ICO lose their value, but if it is a really good ICO they usually recovers that amount in a few weeks, so it may be advisable to wait for a little to see the movements of the market and if it starts to rise the best thing would be to buy, maybe a little more expensive, but you'll be sure of what you're doing.

These days, it is very difficult for most tokens to sell at ICO price. You realize that most project after listing their their tokens, the price is far far below the ico price. This might make it an ideal time to buy but what if the project fails. It pays to research into laudable projects before buying some of their coins.

That one is a bounty hunter does not guarantee from getting a good project, because so many bounty hunters complain a lot. Then it is not as if bounty hunters cannot get or identify good projects, but that so many just join without doing the necessary research to be sure that such can be trust. Although, if the project they join eventually succeed, they are among one of the first set of people to know.

I think this is not always a successful option, buy tokens after ICO. It is necessary to carefully analyze each case. Since there are many examples when the coin after the listing and ICO drop very much and no longer grew.

That is the best option to have an ICO token wait for the dumpers to dump it at the new exchange and buy it. But you still need to be careful you should know if that coin have potential to grow in the upcoming month or not cause some are keep dropping till its hard to recover.

In my experience, very often this happens after the completion of the ICO by the company with the release of the project on the stock exchange, the participants and the project team sell some of their coins, significantly affecting the reduction in the price of the project from the claimed stage of the ICO.

ì also make like that when i start to sell its price started to drop again but i think it is not such a wise idea to buy after the drop of price because it needs a little time until its price come back.

The system I recent adopt is the buying after ICO method for the fact most tokens drop below ICO price on hitting exchange. Though, some have different strategies.

I think when market condition is good that time is best for participating in ICO.And when crypto market is red like now it's not wise to buy altcoins from ICO that time you should buy altcoins after ICO.

that's because too many sell coins / tokens rather than buyers and that makes the price of the coin go down when the volume is unstable, unlike coins that already have large volumes

The best time for me to buy coins is when the ico is over and the coins are just getting listed on the exchanges. It takes time for trading to pick up on the coins and that is when the price of the coin drops which means that is the best time to actually buy the coins. And there are always more people waiting to sell their coins than there are people making to buy the coins
