So i am dabbling into trading again and i have a question about leverage. i was wondering if you start out with 100 dollars starting balance and you use 10 leverage and you manage to blow your account, are you liable to pay the full 1000 dollars that leverage gave you? Or you do just lose your initial starting balance?. I am not sure how this works please clear this up for me thanks.
it depends on the rules when it comes using leverage because there's are some platform that can really burn your account and some cannot.. So always remember to read the rule before using a leverage so that you are aware and you know how to manage it.. "the higher the leverage, the risk will be higher as well" i know someone already said this but this is the most important you always remember it. |

Well i agree on by keeping a records so that you can get some ideas and to see how much money you spend everytime you gamble.. But the question is how it can help in order to win and to fix the mistakes, wherein at ths first place what you can see on it is your bets and strategy you used in every game. Not the same when in trading that there's a lot of options when it comes analysing . So how can you assure that your next strategy will work if you don't so much data to analyse?

For me IMO probably i will choose those projects that have good history in the previous run and which is still more popular in the market nowadays because surely they can win again in the long run, and for me even they reach their current ATH only where in its enough and a big win for me as well. Imagine what percentage you will have if you bought at the bottom and they recover back to the ATH..  |

true, but because of that rumours the situation of ethereum in the market is affected as well, infact not just the ethereum the entire alts. Wherein it makes the current situation worse even the growth rate already show a positive sign because of some so called whales that trying to make progress.. Probably if it's really the season of green market its possible because no one can stop the ethereum to the moon again. But on this current situation that there's no significant sign of bullish it's unpredictable. |

I don't think we can say that bitcoin is currently entering the bull run phase. Although in the last few weeks the price of bitcoin has started to increase from the previous price, it seems that the current increase is not too significant. Therefore, it is still too early to conclude if we are already in a bull run momentum.

Like the game of chance gambling. Can trading in anyway be likened to gambling and how so?
But before you delve in for contributions, let me throw some light below for a better understanding of the idea behind the thread.
Example:
For when we want to gamble, let say in sport football specifically, we look at certain criteria that aid us to a good bet, such as:
1> Head to Head
2> current form of the club and position on the table.
3> The strength of the opponent, etc.
Likewise in trading before we trade we look as certain measures such as:
1> Market trend and direction
2> The price level, market news and some other criteria too.
Now we all know that before going into trading or gambling its advisable to be emotionally stable and to involve a certain sum you're willing to risk etc, all these are similarities shared both in gambling and trading too.
With these few above I think a clear discussion can well surface to clear the air about a likelihood or not.
well yeah seems almost the same but it's clearly that when it comes trading we can assure that despite of losses we still have a chance to regain afterwards, where in unlike gambling that base on luck only and at the same time very unpredictable and the chance of winning is not clear compared to trading especially if you have skills and enough knowledge because surely you can make good return after all your losses. |

I hope that we have passed the bear market, which is sad because the price dropped significantly and made many of the assets I hold such as AAVE, Cardano and so on drop more than 50% and until now have not recovered. it's time for the market to recover to keep us afloat.
patience is always the key so just relax and set back because on this situation no one can really tell that the market has a significant sign to recover or when it will happen. Indeed there's a lot of prediction but most of it are opposite and market still the same..so much better to take a vacation while market isn't fine to prevent stress. |

Tbh mate I've been there chasing losses as well and yes it didn't turn out good to me and i end up massive losses afterwards. So i decided to quit that time for the sake of my health and etc because its like you're always greedy for the opportunity but you always lose.Lol and you always getting mad when someone trying to bother you even it's important.. That's why i took a long break after i realise what I'm doing even in general. Hopefully i don't have such mindset that even they are keep losing money they continue.

Altcoins are always dynamic, if the majority of top ranking including bitcoin are red then there is a positive Altcoin market because the official number of Altcoins registered in the market is more than 20K, there is always an opportunity for profit so that I think the Altcoins market is always more interesting and profitable.
i don't think that will be a good perspective when there's a such situation in the market, i mean you can say it's positive. because as far as i know most altcoins are affected if those have big market cap is red also. So for me it's quite skeptical to jump in.. Where in much better to make TA so that you can get significant information about the current situation of alts in the market. |

Hi I would like to know what do you use to trade cryptocurrencies as efficiently as possible (applications, software etc) or some tips...before I was using a platform where there was no trailing stop loss...and for me the trailing stop loss is saving me a lot of time and money...is there any other type of advanced orders that are you using?
And how do you organize your setup, monitors...right now I am using a not very big monitor...and finally is there any way to change the background of the screen in the exchanges when trading?
Right now I use bybit and when I want to see the chart and enter operations the background is black, I think for me it would be better white background...is there any way to change that? and the box to enter the orders is very small...is there any way to make that box bigger...in fact I do not look at the bybit chart...I look directly at the tradingview....
i think you're just fine and the only problem for you is the background of the platform where in you want white? Lol indeed bybit has stop loss as well it's very advanced like binance and for me it is the second when it comes crypto trading platform aside of having fair fees.. By the way if you want white background and since you're using trading view, perhaps you must do it on trading view not on the bybit.. It's not a big deal though. |
