It's for you to interpret whether the current bearish market makes bitcoin as Scam or a Ponzi scheme. However, you must keep in mind that not only did crypto market but rather even the stock market and real states has been affected with the bearish trend. See if you see the bitcoin market just like any other market and keep it on a scale of 3-4 years you will see that you have always been in profit and never in loss. It is obvious that currently price fluctuations, as well as manipulations, are way too high for Bitcoin markets but eventually this will come down. The winner is only the person who entered the market at the correct time and then HODLed his bitcoins or a person who is a very good trader and can make money in the market no matter what the type of market is. Weak hands always get wiped off as they do exactly the opposite of what should have been done in a certain situaton. |

Not sure to say buy when the market is clear. Isn't it time to buy during the correction you saw a few days ago? The only person who wins but you mention more than one. Perhaps the sentence is more precisely one part of a unity. Not all speculators win or profit. If they are just making excuses without any basis for calculation, then they are gambling on the market. Just guessing that you buy even though the Bitcoin price is green. Hmmm |

I wonder why you're still on this baseless talk, that bitcoin is a ponzi? or that it was once high and now low renders it what you called it to be? I think you need to understand that bitcoin is volatile and considering previous years price speculations one will deduce that lots of factors makes it hapoen part of which is the demand and supply, now that we are within the range of $21k mean nothing than the tendencies to begin to rise back to the ATH to break record above $70k anytime sooner or later, yet someone like you will still come out to call bitcoin which is a digital currency and generally acceptable a ponzi scheme, think twice to know what bitcoin is and it's difference from altcoins. |

A scam that brings a lot of money to many? Well, I’m willing to get scammed by Bitcoin.
Seriously, you just need to understand the trend and know when to buy you can have a good price to enter and a good target price to make profit. This breakout might be little and still weak, so better to wait for other confirmation before buying. Bitcoin hits the oversold area and maybe this is the start of the pump but a dump after this is still possible, to avoid this kind of thinking better to continue analyzing the market.

This is a win for Bitcoin, because it defended a key historical level, after falling bellow it for a short time. This means that Bitcoin is not as week as it seemed when that happened. At least for now.
I don't think that this means that it already became bullish and the bull market has started, maximum that you can expect right now is a relief rally/dead cat bounce. But if this is the bottom of this cycle, this is good for the long-term bullishness of Bitcoin.

I'm afraid you're looking at it the wrong way. If the price is $21,000 and it was $47,000 this March and $61,000 in 2021 but $100,000 coming soon, you shouldn't be looking at it as if it has swerved, changed direction and goal, and you lose hope. Look at it in a way that you're given the opportunity to buy more considering that it has already gone to $47,000 and $61,000 and that $100,000 is coming. This is a sale that's happening right now. Why do you sound so afraid of it?

Those that are wiped out are inexperienced traders who thought that we are going to hit $100,000 at the end of 2021. Maybe they were deceived, but not taking a profit around $60,000? that is a bad idea. Anyhow, we should move on, learn from our past mistakes, take advantage of this bear market, fatten our wallet with BTC because they are ridiculously cheap and just sit back, don't make things complicated if you don't have the experienced and just continue to buy during dip. |

Many people made good money with bitcoin in the past. It made many people wealthy. But the issue is that many were expecting something crazy like $100K or $250K.
Look at how many people bought at $20K before it broke out in late 2020. Many didn’t want to sell at $60k because it was only 3x and they basically made a round trip and are at break even now.
Those that took partial profits at $50K or $60K are probably buying it back now.

That's because you have a short term mentality, what you expect from Bitcoin is to make a quick buck, when the best thing to do is to accumulate and forget about the ups and downs of the market. It is better to buy Bitcoin for its intrinsic, unique properties, but it seems to me that you have not considered that. The most successful strategy with Bitcoin to date has been to accumulate to the maximum, being able to spend a little or sell at high peaks, to savor profits, just as you can also buy now more than usual because it is cheap. |

If you invest because someone told you “Bitcoins is up now 21k buy buy buy! yeah 100k coming soon” you will most likely make losses because over time you will be shocked that the analyzes were not accurate and then the fear will start to control you and the greed will disappear and you start looking for how to sell these investments Which will end up selling you for much less than its real value.

Speculators though are those person who keep buying in the dip and then sell later to make short money. What we should preach in this bear market is to buy at this level and simply hold. Historically, this is the best time s the price is very cheap. Miners though are key part of the ecosystem, you can't blame them if they just hold or sell. Well if bitcoin is a ponzi then it created a lot of millionaires or billionaires already. |

Bitcoin as Ponzi is just his way of looking it. He is not the only one who see it that way, its understanding how it works that will make him learn about it.Orit could be that he lost money so he is butthurt.
But it can't be a ponzi because there is a market of it and the supply of BTC is very limited compare to ponzis out there. Its all for everyone too as long as they can build a miner, anyone can get some BTC form mining.

In short term, There's really a possibility that a short term outbreak will occur since Bitcoin already consolidated above 20K for multiple daily candle which is a good sign that bulls is already in control but those shills stating that Bitcoin will go to 100K with just current short term pump is surely playing the ponzi game that you are describing. You can have a profit by playing smart and know when to TP but this is a pure gambling because there's a bunch of trader that doing do it so make sure to set target limit when buying the dip. I guess it could be good or bad for the market, the $100k projected really did pump the price but only up to $69k. And that is the max that we can in the last bull run. I guess the shills will continue to predict it though till the next bull run. Of course, playing smart in this game is the key, this is not a sprint, bitcoin trading is a journey and a marathon. And remember that we have a cycle to work. I won't comment on the Ponzi Scheme argument because clearly it is not. |

So wait, the only way for you to feel that Bitcoin isn't a game, scam or ponzi, is for it to just keep going up and up and up? Stock markets and real estate, gold, every other legitimate asset that rises and falls, ebbs and flows, are scams? I'm not a miner, speculator, and I'm still pretty happy with where it is. What does that make me, a patient ponzi supporter? If the only thing you gained from Bitcoin is that it's not for you, though, least you came away with a powerful lesson. |

It's an invitation to buy bitcoin that many people are sending out to the people out there. But if people out there just follow those words without analyzing, they could be stuck buying at high prices because bitcoin's current movement is getting wilder. The person who wins is the one who can buy at a low price and sell at a high price.
But bitcoin is not a big scam or Ponzi and if people think like that, it means they don't read more information about bitcoin. Besides, they must be just following other people's words without doing any research before buying bitcoins.

The irony being is that ponzi's allocate different percentage of profits based on the investors position within the pyramid. A good example would be fiat currencies. Those of print them benefit the most from increasing the supply. Those who are heavily invested, and/or require financial aid, receive a form of "dividends" when required (think 2008 crisis). Those at the bottom, suffer from the continued inflation.
Whereas with Bitcoin it doesn't matter if you have 0.1 Bitcoin or 1K Bitcoin. If price goes up or down 10%, the result is the same for everyone, not better for those at the top of a pyramid or worse for those at the bottom. If anything it sounds like the OP mistook this for a pyramid, thinking that if he invested 6 months ago, or 12 months ago when price was at $60K he/she would benefit more than those who invest today at $20K. Sadly for them, Bitcoin isn't a pyramid, so it's not necessarily a case of investing early means higher profits that those who invest later. Oh well.

Bitcoin is something we can not be excited for it price, because of the dimensions it takes for price speculation, we were expecting a bullish market that will get up to seventy thousand to hundred thousand (70k) to (100k) but nature of market retrace. So our expectations for Bitcoin to that particular prediction of yours should be next year. |
