The price could also be growing due to the MMM Global ponzi where a lot of people are "investing" Since it uses Bitcoin, people might just be buying Bitcoin to use in that ponzi, which ultimately will create more negative media for Bitcoin once that ponzi collapses.
How do you know the main reasons is that MMM Global ponzi if you don't have precise data. Yes, I know many ppl are involving at this ponzi. But nowadays it is just our assumption. I know once this ponzi collapes, it will dramatically affect bitcoin's image again. I don't have any precise data. I am just postulating here.

I don't think BIP101 is accepted by the majority. In fact, it looks like there are a bunch of v4 blocks on the testnet which are not for BIP101. It could also just be one person with a few miners (since the testnet hashrate is so low) that is mining a BIP101 blocks but the fork has not happened. The price could also be growing due to the MMM Global ponzi where a lot of people are "investing" Since it uses Bitcoin, people might just be buying Bitcoin to use in that ponzi, which ultimately will create more negative media for Bitcoin once that ponzi collapses.

And why should we trust your software and not trusted and open source software? Can you give us the source to verify it?

What about the other way? Can I use my paypal to buy some Bitcoin?

Yeah, but it doesn't always work. I'll select threads to be on my watchlist and then when I go to "Watchlist" they aren't listed...unless I go to "edit list".
I second this. I have tried to use it before but than it didn't work correctly. I was trying and trying with different threads but then I just gave it up completely. To bad, since this should be a very handy feature. You only get the new threads, not all of the new replies. To watch all of the current threads in a board, I think you need to go through and manually add them to your watchlist.

You can probably sell off all of those S3's and make 10 or more BTC from just selling off the equipment. I think it would be more worthwhile to take the money you spend on electricity and spend that to buy some Bitcoin every month. That will probably be better for both you and your mom.

Now, if you had halve a brain (excuse the pun) you would have asked the question, why despite more adoption, higher magnitude of volume in trading, and more spotlight on bitcoin causes a sharp decline in price? Clearly, it was grossly mispriced in the first place and the demand was artificial.
Of course it was. Willy bot was the whole reason for the huge price spike in 2013.

Sounds good if it works. I wonder how many people visit those faucets still, some are real low.
I think people thought the same when bitcoin was worth only few dollars and faucet paid something like ~ 0.0001 :þ I remember reading post about guy from Spain who claimed from 1st faucet multiple times, I wonder if he hodl or sold for pennies Yea, it won't be as easy as the early bitcoin adopters had it. They really got lucky.

Is this still going? I wouldn't mind a 2 or 3 digit, if available.

I've heard about bitaddress.org: is this 100% safe if I download the webpage in html? and then generate it like normal. but how would I withdraw bitcoin at a later date? with importing the private key into bitcoin client?
Using bitaddress.org how would I generate multiple addresses on that website
using bitaddress.org how can I verify that it actually worked? for example when created and address & private key is saved. How would I go about verifying safely that I can withdraw from the wallet? I don't want to send to the address and then find out i have done something wrong and cant withdraw.
thanks for your time.
I did once save the html page and then load it in a offline computer running a live ubuntu or some such. If done right should be very safe, and it's worth it with large amounts.

Just use one of those paper wallet calculators offline to check the private key corresponds to a bitcoin address. Then check the bitcoin address.

What is the use of having a low value UID ?
wait I dont get whats the reason to buy a low ID #.. am I missing something here??
or is it more of a founders club pride thing..
more of an e-peen/prestige thing since it shows next to your name everywhere and most pwople have (123456) or now they are up to (1234567) so to have (56) instead makes you special And if the chatbox gets crazy they'll restrict it so only ID #'s below a certain value can talk. They stand out in the chat from extra space, also rare.
