Zero KYC doesn't mean a better experience and security, some people are talking about much more interest in decentralized gambling but they have forgotten that experience is what matters. Some online casinos can take advantage of their users all in the name of been decentralised.

Don't forget that decentralised have zero regulations and that's freedom for criminals that pretend to be good people.

Huobi support, maybe the only people to help you in this case

This is just another example of why you should not copy your previously used addresses and just send funds without confirming the status of the address or wallet in an exchange you are sending funds to.

Exchanges can periodically suspend deposits due to wallet maintenance, coin delisting, etc. and the warnings are usually displayed when generate a deposit address. If you just send directly, you will only realize when it's too late.
Yes I have learnt my lesson and it's not going to happen again, I have contacted the team and they gave me a form to fill with three video requirements, Tx hash and my full name written on a piece of paper with my signature on it, still waiting for their final move

Thanks for your concerns everyone.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I think ive throw money away on: December 13, 2022, 04:52:07 PM
Did I just throw away 200$ ?

I made a grave mistake today and it was because of binance news, I went online and saw a tweet on Twitter about how danger is lurking around the Binance exchange right now and I was told to move whatever funds I have on Binance out.

I did this, I sent 200$ from Binance to Huobi exchange because I want to buy a coin that was available only on Huobi anyways but I sent USDT to the BSC chain on Huobi which unfortunately was suspended.

Now I tracked the Bsc address on Huobi the USDT was moved, is there any chance of getting my money back or it's a gone.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / When devs don't even know what they are doing on: December 13, 2022, 09:01:29 AM
Take a look at this crypto company called Bitcoin.com, the name itself have a lot to say but instead these people went and create their coin on Ethereum  Grin Grin Grin

Can we say they don't know what they are doing? How can you name your project Bitcoin dot come and create token on Ethereum? I belief that Bitcoin dot come should have make their own bitcoin coin.
1605  Economy / Economics / This could be the biggest news in 2022 on: December 13, 2022, 07:57:06 AM

1606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why The Goverment try to centralize Crypto Be CDBC? on: December 13, 2022, 06:54:36 AM
Crypto users and investors are not stupid, they knew the benefits that comes with using keeping, and holding Bitcoin compared to a centralized stablecoin.

Most crypto investors invested in Bitcoin to stay off the radar and buying CBDC will destroy that privacy, you will be on track just like when using Fiat, if CBDC ends up becoming something many will use it like Fiat and that's all but the adoption of Crypto will prevail.
1607  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be responsible for your coin on: December 13, 2022, 05:59:51 AM
No one is supposed to be responsible for keeping BTC for others, honestly speaking Bitcoin adopters have broken everything that Bitcoin was created for, imagine someone doing the job for you, a human just like yourself and when he gets greedy and decides to ruin everybody you will start calling Bitcoin a scam.

People will never learn it seems.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether: USDT is the next token to crash / Tether fraud exposed on: December 11, 2022, 06:10:42 AM
If USDT is going to be a problem it should have happened before Luna and FTX, later Tether was audited and they drop proof of reserve too, that's what I read online but I will be surprised if something happened because right from day one all eye is on USDT and Tether.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ? on: December 10, 2022, 04:46:39 PM
This topic looks better in speculation section I believe, anyways, why do you believe that Shiba can still do 100x in future? I don't think it's possible for Shiba to go that high again because that project is one of the very few that brings the highest returns for investors in last bull market.

The next real gains will come from projects that are less known to the public, nothing beats buying Matic at 0.01$ years ago but now the chances of bringing such insane returns is lower.

I will prefer something new if 100x is my target for the next bull market. Q
1610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Imagine a crypto world without VCs on: December 10, 2022, 01:09:54 PM
Venture capitals helps to spread the word about crypto better than anything else, while the world is waiting for crypto regulations venture capitals are giving people the confidence to invest, since they are also doing it.

It's helpful we have them.
1611  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learn, correct the mistakes so that it wont hurt you in the future on: December 10, 2022, 10:13:34 AM
We have all been in this situation where-in we could have made millions of dollars but make a mistake during the process
so what have we learn ? sometimes this mistake keeps happening in a cycle why? because we refuse to learn from our mistakes

Things that I regret:

  • Too greedy although i have enough profit from my investments in 2020 holding it at the end of 2021, i failed to released and convert it to usdt
  • Encounter the same cycle every time, where i have made a huge profit but wont exit until it goes down to just less of my capital
  • depending on vlogs regarding coins which are the top 20 or something but in the end its just a campaign of the projects ended investing and lost all of it
  • Gets tired of researching, effort for potential coins to invest
  • Don't listen to those who are successful in what they do
  • don't make own decision You also need to believe yourself.
From all of this one thing is needed take profit when happy, no matter what the situation is, follow people who are successful but also don't forget to bring your friends with you, because its the best feeling to help your friends

1. You are not the first and you won't be the last that fails to take profits, newbies always get too attached to their crypto portfolio, they failed to take profit thinking that things will remain in the same spot forever.

My advice is to have a profit taking strategy, have a target minimum to maximum and once that target is happening right in front of you do not hesitate.

2. Treat your crypto bags as a business, taking profits is what keeps your business running. Control yourself, crypto assets will always go up and down, it's a circle.

3. Have you forget what happened to FTX, LUna and Solana this year already? Every bull market new altcoins takes the top 20 ranks and once the bull market is over many will vanish into thing air and some will lose their rank and never to be heard about again.

4. If you are into altcoins you have to get used to intense research from time to time, if this is a big headache for you then stick with Bitcoin only. As a altcoin investors you need to keep track of all your asset, to avoid missing out on updates or to know if a project have not been updaging for months so you can switch, use Twitter to follow and track all the altcoins.

5. I am successful with crypto, imagine not telling others to invest in crypto where i have been able to touch the life of friends and family this way. Not all successful people are cruel when it comes to opportunity and changing lives.

6. You can believe in yourself and still make the wrong decisions, keep learning and learning this will let you make the right decisions, based on facts and understandings. Learning is the way.
1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: December 10, 2022, 07:53:48 AM
I'm not so sure about ispolink and my identity coin, I think they won't survive this bear market but Vulcan forged? That's a very strong project mate, the possibility of beating it's old ATH is very high .

I hope you have learnt your lesson, many make the same mistakes in 2018 as they are buying coins at a very high price then market crashed later, it's going to take a long time but the bulls will be back again. HODL

1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in this case? on: December 10, 2022, 06:55:43 AM
Mina protocol was one of the altcoins I used to hold before the FTX saga began few weeks back, I was forced to sell the coin but there isn't any big dump on the market till date.

I think the projects will be fine because Alameda will want to make money off their investments too, the most affected of all is Solana and still some are buying till date.

It's a pure manipulation and things will go back to it's old stage, Solana will survive this.
1614  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Help]Bitcoin Wallet Security on Windows on: December 09, 2022, 05:31:20 PM
First of all, I don't like the idea of using a crypto wallet on my PC, the chances of doing something wrong is very high compare to when running a crypto wallet on your smartphone.

My advice is to always update your windows 10 or 11 to the latest, windows defender works better when they are updated frequently, ads blocker will do what it can but believe me, there are other ways you can lose it all using a PC unless you don't browse the internet at all.

Get a hardware wallet.
1615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what are the disadvantages of paper wallet on: December 09, 2022, 11:23:42 AM
You don't have to write your recovery seed on a paper, there is nothing great about a paper wallet, all you did was write your recovery key on a piece of paper to keep the seeds offline.

Have you think about writing down your seed on a stainless steel? This makes your backup indestructible to water and fire, stronger than books and papers.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: December 09, 2022, 07:01:59 AM
It depends, what do you know about crypto projects? I asked this because your account says you're still a newbie.

The safest investment plan for a newbie is Bitcoin, if you are good at doing research on projects then you can make some picks from top 20 to top 30 on coinmarketcap.

If altcoin is your heart desire you need some time to learn how to do good research, altcoins are very risky and more volatile than bitcoin, be careful.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will feeless blockchains have a future? on: December 09, 2022, 05:37:48 AM
The feeless part is not enough to make a crypto project a successful one, I was here in 2018 and I've seen two feeless projects, fast forward to today many people don't even know these projects.

If all a project have to offer adopters is the feeless part it's not going anywhere, crypto still lacks the mass adoption part and I am waiting for the first crypto project that will really be adopted worldwide. Not even Bitcoin because it's adoption rate is like 1% of the world population. And to me that sucks.
1618  Economy / Economics / Re: From grace to grass:Reasons why a Well to do investor turned a nobody. on: December 08, 2022, 05:36:26 PM
So many times we see people who were financially bouyant and stable reduced to nothing in the society,is it because they failed to strategise well?or could it be that they no longer put in the much effort they put before that got them to the level they were?what can actually be the cause of the downfall of someone who was already stable financially?
There are many jackpot lottery winners in the world today that still end up poor due to a reason or the other, the most common reason is mismanagement of fund.

Change is very constant in people's life, this is why you need to be careful which advice you take from people and which new people you start mingling with.

In time a business can lose interest in the world that's why we need to be open to new ideas, do not be too reliable on your business especially if it's kinda old, things change pretty fast this days.

1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: nano ledger - staking? on: December 08, 2022, 03:30:26 PM
I'm never going to do this with my hardware wallet because it's not worth it, I will prefer using my hot wallet like trust wallet or atomic wallet .

I said it's not worth it because staking isn't profitable in a bear market unless you are already a rich person, you will stake for a whole year to earn 7% to 15% of your asset, really? Something you can earn doing buying and selling on exchange.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you experienced this kind of gambling on: December 08, 2022, 02:49:09 PM
It can't be a gambling strategy. It is just pure luck that the Nigerian guy wins the draw with a jersey number that constantly shows up on the TV screen Grin.

I do not see anyone using this, but I saw some superstitious gamblers use vehicle number plates. They bet on the most used numbers in vehicles that passed by them. It makes no sense to me, but sometimes they win, but most of the time, they lose. Lottery gambling is all about luck unless you have any influence or anyone in authority.
I'm not sure it's all pure luck because I have heard about this too many times.

Seeing a random number can be a lottery winning number, yes this have happened few times before, some are revealed in dreams and some are from the least people you won't ever believe due to their appearances.

There are many things happening in this world today that have no genuine explanations and this is one of them.

Maybe another way that guardian angels are communicating or helping people? I don't know but the stories are real.
