I don't really understand what you are saying, but my point is that the USA *IS* in fact the world government.

No it is *NOT*.

If you think you are not influenced by US colonialism, you are sorely mistaken and should probably open your eyes.

You're mistaken co-op with ruling. Unless the US sees *REALLY* evil (read: financial interest) on btc or ixc and go on a strong campaign against it, like as the so called "war on drugs", most of the other countries will not follow.
If US starts to bitch its allies enough to get them leaving NATO you'll see how fast the largest World debtor goes down.

The biggest guns on the planet carry the biggest influence on the planet. If you think otherwise, you are an idiot.

(what i0coiner wants ixcoins and vice versa?)

actually.... ME

and though i do understand your concerns doubleC and you would know more than me on the subject.. i for one would probably double my trading or more.. especially in these speculative currencies.

stability is not a friendly word to day traders. and right now both ixcoin and i0coin can be very profitable in that regard.

I do call ixcoin a scam...but I'd still trade them

If you could at least link our BTC wallets, that would go a long way to making things better. Right now the main thing keeping me from trading ixcoins besides watching that price dive, is the fact i would have to take my btc from my iocoin page, and then send to to a wallet on the ixcoin side and wait for confirmations and such.. and by that time the price i was looking at would probably be gone.

Read what doubleC said: bots will remove all arbitrage opportunity in a day or two, and the conversion factor between all units of currency included on the single exchange will stabilize.

The US is wearing a heavier boot than anyone else in the world. I wouldn't want it on my neck.

Right, the US citizens really should worry about that, as for those it is in fact their government. However to many and many people around the globe "their government" can do whatever it wants and those people wouldn't be giving a damn about it. I just need to call China "my government", for an instance, to have US way way offshore and print its bans in soft toilet paper.

Um, excuse me, but...which government are you talking about?

It's something you easily notice in this forum about Americans: They truly believe "US rules the World". It seams their government manages to scare them so well that they come to believe the entire planet is under its boot.
A bit like a whore believing his pimp to be the strongest man in the World, I guess...

I have always had a problem with how ixcoin was 'developed' , the idea behind ixcoin and how it attempts to fix nothing. But I have become more against ixcoin the more i see oldminer and his minions go arround the forums attacking everything i0coin as if they dont understand why i0coin came into existence.

Yeah call me a whiner cause I didnt get 600k coins.. You want to know what? so what? I can compile code. I can search and replace 50 with 96.. I can even set it up to mine solo for a while.. bit fucking deal.. why would I be jealous of something I can do with absolutely no programming skills?

And yeah I can copy and paste sites as well.

If you want.. i can release cowcoins and premine them to 6 million or something.. if that will make anyone feel better. The coin will be shit, it wont solve any bitcoin problems.. it will be 1000% a pump and dump, but mainly cause I dont know how to program and can only really change some crap that I see there in the code. But hey if it makes everyone feel better I can make a coin 3 times as scammy as ixcoin..

lol another troll on our hands guys?

Why don't you start a thread about it...or better yet, start four threads about it?

AND NO ONE HAS ATTEMPTED WHAT SO EVER, TO ALLEVIATE THOSE WORRIES.

Because no matter how hard you try, you can't protect stupid from itself.

You guys are the idiots throwing your chips in with scammy currency that admittedly had a ton of coins pre-mined. And then you and smoothie both jerked yourselves off (over and over again) about how much bitcoin you made. No one cares; ixcoin will be dead in another week or two. What big mystery is there to solve?

Jealous?  Grin

Not at all.

I have done all I can. The production company is who has not followed through thus far.

Did you give the production company the money? You shouldn't let them off on 'fizzling out' if they took it.
I would not pay for this in advance. Actually they refused to do so.

Seems like he is due for a refund then.
I was the first to offer refunds, for the record. The OP wants to be in a position of power and rightfully so. It is his money. However, please don't incriminate me on false grounds of wanting to steal from people. I am doing this quite happily, fyi.

There is no need to be arrogant and presumptuous. My record should not be completely tarnished because of something beyond my control.

I wasn't trying to be arrogant or presumptuous. I was just saying, yeah, seems like he should get refunded.

Why do you keep going back and editing your comments?

1613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get the women on board? on: August 18, 2011, 09:17:15 PM
I am starting to doubt that you are even a woman...

It makes me mad that I can cook every girl I have ever dated under the fucking table. I am not saying women belong in the kitchen, but neither am I saying that they belong completely OUT of the kitchen. I am not sure why women think it is now ok to be completely incompetent concerning cooking and cleaning, particularly if you don't make enough to pay someone to do it for you.

I said baking, not cooking in general.  I love cooking, but I'm no pro at it.  Most everything I know I've learned from Alton Brown's shows.

Fair enough. Baking isn't all that important, but it is the most delicious. I have been making a bunch of baklava lately. It's so much work, but when you bust it out at a gathering, it impresses the skirts. Next up is medicated baklava. I have held off because it will be super hard to control dosage because it takes a friggin' pound of butter and I don't want people having panic attacks.

I learned how to cook and bake watching my mom. It is kind of sad, our generation is fucked. They'll be eating McDonald's till the day they die because they don't know how to feed themselves. My original point still stands; women (and men, for that matter) should go to greater lengths to learn how to cook, though I am not too sure about Alton. All I can say is Sakai Sakai Sakai!!!! Iron Chef Japan is the place to learn.

My ex-wife was Greek, so I know how labor intense it is to make baklava. But not as labor intense as making kugelis of which I learned to make from my grandmother.

I have never had it, but wikipedia makes it sound fucking delicious...

Quote
Kugelis (also bulvių plokštainis, the lexically correct non-foreign name, literally "flat potato dish" or banda - a dialecticism frequent especially in Dzūkija region) is a baked potato pudding that is a Lithuanian national dish. The main ingredients are potatoes, bacon, milk, onions, and eggs. It may be spiced with salt, black pepper, bay leaves, and/or marjoram. It is usually eaten with apple sauce, lingonberry preserve, sour cream, or crumbled fried fat—from white bacon (spirgai) or pork.[1]

Similar dishes are the German kugel and Belarusian potato babka.[1]

I want some sauerkraut.

You manage to play devil's advocate in damn near every post, but you do it so respectfully that you can hardly be called a troll for it. It's like, you are so polite that I am not quite certain what your angle is. This could be one friggin' hilarious long-con troll.

So basically, you don't really go for maximum disruption and argument, but you do post material for maximum discussion. It's like productive trolling...

I thoroughly enjoy it.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $20 again on: August 18, 2011, 09:06:55 PM
Conference is a positive thing, but I don't see how it can pump the price almost 100% to $20.00. If you think that is likely to happen you are living in a lala land.

If you don't think this could happen, you have not been paying much attention the past few months.

If someone knows Banksy, he might be interested in promoting bitcoin. We will need guerrilla marketing to make smartphone commerce. It seemed whimsical enough to post.
cbeast, does this imply you know Banksy and you're in contact with him? Would be great to have him on board!
I've conversed with many interesting folks, most of them as pseudonyms. There seem to be very few freethinking hipsters, and they tend to orbit similar worlds. If Banksy groks the significance of a proletariat crypto-currency, he may find a new milieu for his art and craft.

There is nothing like a fusillade of acateleptic verbiage to make even the most puerile asseverations seem the acme of sagacious perspicacity. I'm just saying.
Nice copypasta http://andyrantsandraves.blogspot.com/2007/12/how-to-use-really-big-words-to-sound.html

You are correct, cbeast. I did copy and paste it. I'm not that smart to come up with that on my own. But I was smart enough to hunt it down and use it as a reply to your post of which I enjoyed, hence my efforts. I enjoy reading your posts, even ones calling out copy-pasters. Nice catch, cbeast. Cheers!

Man, Bruno...you are the prince of trolls. I dig it.

At this point I've lost all interest in the 90 bit. I'd just be all over the idea of going halves in a tenth of what's left. You're the hot little geek girl, so you do the math.  Wink

Dude...pure fucking gold.
