I would like to propose the following changes in the next update
-Minimum transaction fee and minimum relay transaction fee from 0.00500000 to 0.00050000
-Bring the dust limit in line with Bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies. With a relay transaction fee of 0.00050000 the dust limit should be 0.00027300; anything less than that and the transaction will be rejected.
-Change the dust soft limit to 0.00050000. Any amount of ARG less than 0.00050000 will incur an additional fee of 0.00050000.
These changes will put Argentum in a much better position for growth of the network.
Let me know what you guys think.
No objections here - I'm all for improvements. Lowering down the fee isnt really an improvement. The cost difference between pre-fork and after-fork tx constitutes a decimal fraction of satoshi, in terms of bitcoin. Additionally, reduced fee may instigate a dust spam run on the network. |

100%  Cross platform node.js wallet is 0.8.0 An initial preview version of Decrediton (the node.js wallet) is coming out in 0.7.0. Not quite ready for prime time yet, but it will be there to play with. Should be much more complete in 0.8.0 and hopefully we'll have windows builds for it then too. Can someone step out of these bushes and tell me why all of this is happening around there. Too much developments at once is not nice for a long-standing project, u should space ur milestones across the roadmap axis more equally. |

The bitcoin rally might end up into epic Monero price both in terms of bitcoins and especially in terms of fiat. I see no reason why the price of Monero could not reach 0.10-0.30 btc during the peak and bitcoin at 3000 makes Monero a 300-900 dollar per coin.
$300 per is a wet dream for some of us.. 0.03 would surfice to make me a happy camper. 0.03 very likely will take place in spring rally (not sure though) even without bitcoin rally.. Often I have been wrong also so take this as grain and salt. EDIT: I have enough bitcoins for the rally so unfortunately I am not in the need of bitcoins and thus no need for selling my Moneros (unless the Monero goes parabolic against bitcoins I might consider selling 10-20 Moneros). Unfortunately? Im not sure that I follow u. Overall, its true that regardless of bitcoin price monero may choose its own path and gain value based off the progress made on RingCT. It may or may not work out this way but it should be noted that people regard a technology as worthy of pursuing after they see the real thing delivered. What bothers me the most about the legitimacy of monero story is a single-handedly orchestrated pump. I had been tracking monero price action for 50 hours in a row when it started recovering after the recent burn, and I can tell for sure that there hadnt been many real traders behind the giant volume movements. It had mostly been bots and a couple of marginers shaffling orders between the floor and ceiling of a trading range. Volume is 200% fake and comes from the same pockets. Remember, last february polo cold wallet was filled with 80K btc within one week. That money pumped eth, maid, dash, xmr, pot and few other senior alts. I wouldnt be surprised to see monero depriving ethereum of its privileged position while both eth and etc taking the whole world's bullets. 1 billion cap hit would make xmr a ethereum successor which would be quite easy to achieve given the amount of crisp bitcoin lying in polo cold wallet. If its gonna happen it will be done via bots + fully artificial volume. |

And if we wanted to be REALLY extreme, we could even do a 100-for-1 reverse split. Bring our effective price to around 50-100 satoshi (which is far more preferable for trading purposes).

Enabled Coin Control
In the wallet client, go to settings and then select options. Click on the tab that says Display. Check the box that says Display coin control features (experts only!). Press OK.
Step2:
Click Send Coins , then under Coin Control Features , click inputs ,
click the arrow on the left side , this expands everything so you can see all of the blocks in an address,
Then click on the confirmations tab, this will sort the blocks by # of confirmations.
Place a check mark in the box to the left , this selects those blocks to be combined.
(If you look at top it shows the combined amount of the blocks you checked and the fee to send it , and the amount after fee.)
Only select the blocks with the lowest confirmations, as they have recently minted, and you will not lose much staking time by choosing them.
Click OK
If you are sending the coins out to an exchange, just put in the exchange zeit address and
, copy the amount in after fee, into the amount of zeit you want to send, click send.
or
If you are combining your blocks, then click Receive Coins tab, right click on your Zeit Receive Address and Copy Address, click on Send Coins, paste your zeit receive address into Pay to:
copy the amount in after fee, into the amount of zeit you want to send,
