Good for you that you can purchase anything with bitcoin...Others have a difficulty buying anything with bitcoin..They have to use exchanges just to use bitcoin in real life...But anyway, of course it worth to me..It is still a money... I think it may not be possible by end of 2016 because for that to happen with current price, it has to appreciate more than 100% in a year + time. Logically it is not possible but surely price will appreciate some percentage but difficult to predict how much. If no other bad news about bitcoins then it will slowly start moving upwards.. But in past history bitcoin has achieved more than 500% appreciation also. So, getting 100% appreciation is not a big deal always for bitcoin. We can expect prices to reach $600 levels that too before halving itself. |

I buy BTC for a big price increase.
That is a good idea because sooner or later the price will have a big bump. The reason because of which I buy bitcoins is that I try to make all my payments and transactions with BTC , more because its irreversible. Spending it on buying online or mobile top up and also on gambling sometimes and mostly spending it on converting it to fiat currency.
I also just convert what earn from bitcoin to fiat then buy what i need from what i profit,there is no shop here available to buy goods with bitcoin. If you learn to shop online from online shops then you will find anything and can buy anything you want for your normal use at a great discount, whenever you try to buy search on net and you will find it. Yes most of the people from some countries are using that way to spend bitcoin, as there are not any stores or knowledge among the people about bitcoin even the IT students there do not know it. |

I think everyone is hyping because halving is coming. And many people predict the price of bitcoin increase in 2016 because of halving. and i hope it happen too.
With respect to bitcoin ecosystem, halving must be a very big event and most expected one. Even it is schedule one it can happen once per every four years. So, the expectations and speculations of all the bitcoiners will drive bitcoin prices to new height. If there was no halving then the price may sit below 100$ the halving has great effect on the price of bitcoin as it affect how bitcoin is being mined. No the price do not have effect of price increase or price decrease because of halving, but it is due to the interest and adoption of people that the price get some value and stability. |

Of course you have to buy bitcoins in order to sell them. I suggest saving your Bitcoins until you know you can make a good profit.

I believe bitcoin will go up, not much, but $600 is possible by December.
You gave to long time for that to reach $600, you will see halving is going to occur in the mid of july this year and bitcoin price value will reach to $600 before the halving, and after that it will boost up. It will not reach 600 before the halving it will reach 600 after the halving,when the difficulty is double and when the whales are holding bitcoins. But I will say that no matter after the halving or before the halving, there are both the chances for the bitcoin to reach either $200 or $600, but all depends on the favour, adoption and support of the people, when they are with it it will reach or cross $600 and if they leaved it the price will go down to $200. |

I think the price could hit $10,000 in 10 years. But it also depends on the general adoption level.
Just think if bitcoin within 3 years can reach from $0.25 to $1200 then why people are saying that it is not easy to touch that amount in a few years, if people keep faith on it and remain with it to support it and use it for their transactions etc then it will not take 10 years to reach $10000 but can take a little period. |
