1601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are we? on: September 22, 2014, 08:10:26 AM
Even though Bitcoin has gained a lot of traction over the past year or so, I still think we're in the early adopters stage simply because I think Bitcoin has the potential to become way bigger than it currently is.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price beating will Continue .. on: September 20, 2014, 10:33:56 PM
The part about too many people getting in at late 2013 and early 2014 to "get rich quick" is a fairly good point and probably one of the reasons why the market is stuck in such a bearish trend for so long.
1603  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling bulk amazon gift card. on: September 20, 2014, 09:21:54 PM
Interested in a $200 Amazon gift card. Just two questions:

1) Where and how were these gift cards obtained?
2) Will they work for Amazon.ca (Canada division)

Do you have a physical copy of this gift card?
1607  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin downing to 400? on: September 19, 2014, 08:28:27 AM
One hell of a roller coaster ride!
1608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin downing to 400? on: September 19, 2014, 04:29:31 AM
There is a lot of resistance though, I don't see it downing to sub-400 levels unless a huge amount of coins (over 3500) are dumped in a short period.

It is not a bad name, for 150 BTC that's pretty good!

Just one available Smiley
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep your bitcoins secure if you suddenly disappear (jail or prison) on: September 17, 2014, 11:25:47 PM
So funny that your bitcoins could not be discovered and collected if you suddenly disappear. I never thought of this usage of Bitcoin as a safe storage for treasure. Whatever it is absolutely safe or not, it is safer than depositing money in banks.

This is probably what Mark Karpeles is doing Tongue He can easily have a bunch of bitcoins stashed somewhere safe for when things calm down for him, he can take it out, cash out the coins and still be a multimillionaire.
1613  Other / Archival / Re: Selling Legit Microsoft Keys for $5 (Single Orders - Bulk Orders) on: September 17, 2014, 11:22:28 PM
Looking for a couple Windows 7 (64bit) keys. Prefer Pro or Ultimate edition.

Do you have these?
1614  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Game Code on: September 17, 2014, 11:14:54 PM
I am selling a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel game code I received from Newegg with my latest order for a nvidia GPU. I have the code on hand, all you need to do is activate it on nvidia's geforce website: www.GeForce.com/GetBORDERLANDS

I am looking for BTC0.074 (approximately $30 USD) for the game code.

You can claim the code now and then the game will be available for you to download once it launches in October!

Willing to use escrow, otherwise I expect buyer to go first.
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Best coins to CPU mine? on: September 17, 2014, 09:35:10 PM
I use to mine Monero with my 8 core CPU rigs that I had lying around in my basement but noticed that GPU miners have already begun to take over XMR mining.

Are there currently other altcoins I can mine to make use of my 8 core CPU rigs?
1616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I asked Restoration Hardware if they would accept Bitcoin... on: September 17, 2014, 09:28:00 PM
Based on my experience, it never hurts to ask. If a merchant you shop from does not offer Bitcoin as a payment method, I always write a short letter/e-mail to them requesting them to add BTC as a payment option and give a brief introduction of what it is and how it can benefit them as a merchant. If everyone does this, merchants will feel the pressure to add BTC for their customers as well as to compete with other merchants who are also beginning to adopt BTC as a payment method. Eventually, every merchant or online retailer will be accepting BTC as a payment option, just one small step towards the Bitcoin revolution Smiley
1617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Plans Bitcoin Ban by 2015 on: September 17, 2014, 09:24:54 PM
The way the technology is designed, Bitcoin cannot be banned or censored.

1619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be 'hacked' by September 2015? on: September 17, 2014, 08:59:30 PM
This is some next level speculation.
1620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin craze dying down? on: September 17, 2014, 08:51:33 PM
It's better to see the December/January price spike to be a rush of bitcoin craze rather than it dying down now. The price spike gave a surge of new users and adopters because of the media and the amount of profit being made by earlier adopters. Not that BTC will die down at all, I think things will just be moving slower/steadier in the next couple years until more people and even nations start adopting BTC as a viable currency.
