I agree with this. I've had a few people in my short few months of providing escrow who got scammed because I didn't respond right away so they ended up going with an escrow. Too many scammers on these forums, even ones who appear to be trustworthy or unlikely to scam do end up scamming at times. It's better safe than sorry.

I am not particularly interested in this since I don't really use PayPal and pretty much avoid it like the plague, but perhaps you could offer some discounted/review copies for trusted members of the community. This will help with possibly increasing your sales and helps verify whether or not your product is any good.

edit: just noticed that this is a "blackhat" method, meaning it is most likely illegal or at least violates PayPal's terms in some way. Anyone buying this should probably make sure the method is safe and that the PayPal funds acquired in using the method are secure, but probably won't be anyway since it's PayPal after all.

The only thing I'd be worried about as a site operator for something similar to this is the banning of the trade bots. Not because it's illegal in any way, the steam auto trade bots are used everywhere including sites like CSGOLounge, but there have been stories (recently) where these bots, holding fraudulently obtained items would get banned. Other times, the bots may get mass reported by trolls/scammers and then also ends up getting banned.

Most recently, a site called CSGOJackpot had their trade bots trade banned with a total of about $500k worth of skins locked on their bots, untradeable.

Obviously there isn't much the site owner can do when Valve decides to issue bans, even legitimate users have been getting banned recently because valve's anti fraud system is just flawed. But I just thought I'd point that out to anyone who may be interested in starting a site that utilizes steam bots for automation.

Yes, there are indeed a lot of skeptics but for good reason. People have scammed for much less than what you're asking for, even on higher ranked/valued accounts. There are just so many scammy loan requests that happens on these forums that there is basically no reason for anyone to trust a newbie who's first posts are loan requests.

As others have pointed out already, because PayPal is a reversible method not many people will want to take that risk with you since you have no trading history.

An alternative for you is to give virwox.com a try. You can buy BTC with PayPal and should be fine for you since you only need $113 worth. I believe their starting limit is around $500? Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't used them in several months.
