I use Mycelium almost exclusively, and this is after experimenting with a number of online wallets. It's working pretty well so far and I have no reason to switch. Everyone here always mentions electrum and I may have to check that out at some point.

I am saving bitcoin for the future, but I'm not married to it. If it ever becomes apparent that it won't survive, I have no trouble selling it. I would disagree with what you wrote about bitcoin "increasing day by day" because it isn't really doing that. We had a huge boom in 2013 and it's been climbing back up in fits and starts, but who knows where it's going.
Be careful reading financial news--a lot of it is garbage in my opinion, and pretty much all of it has an agenda behind it, which is to keep you reading at whatever cost. Be skeptical of things.

Aside from documentaries about it and aside from maybe having theaters and Netflix accept bitcoin as payment, I think btc could be used as a neat plot device in movies. It'd have to get a bit more mainstream though, else you'd have to waste screen time explaining what it is. Definitely has possibilities.

I'm sorry, could you repeat that? I'm having a hard time understanding you over the roar of stupidity.

As the title says , i am willing to use escrow if you want. Have around 2120$ , looking to buy BTC . Any suggestions or Advice will be welcomed. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) With that much money potentially involved, please do yourself a favor and use escrow even if the other party says it's not necessary. Your account isn't exactly brand new, so it's probably not a bad assumption that you know how many scammers there are around here. So be careful.

He has a total of 4 constructive posts /4, with a cute scam attempt... How wonderful he isn't being nuked yet! Well you've been around long enough to know that scammers don't get nuked. But it's their pattern to fish with new accounts and when they don't get anything except red trust, to abandon that account and start anew with another one. Which is exactly what this asshole is going to do. Sooner or later they either stumble upon a sucker or realize that people on bct aren't as stupid as they think.

That dude looks way too clean to not have showered for even one year, much less 12. Christ, I feel dirty just reading this thread.

Are there any comic book shops that take bitcoin? Any good collectible dealers that take it? I don't read comics anymore but I'm not averse to buying one here and there. I use fountain pens and I have yet to find a dealer that takes bitcoin.

People are paranoid around here, and rightfully so. It seems like any sort of info that could be used against you will be used against you at some point. Plus, this is bitcoin and the reality is that a lot of folks are into illegal things and don't want any personal details out there.

This shouldn't surprise anyone, really. Religious fundamentalist delusion runs deep--what kind of person would you expect a mass murderer to marry? This isn't the type of woman who's going to say something like "Oh, I never saw this coming! He was such a quiet and caring man." Fuck that, they're Jihadists.

For most of them, the two things would essentially be the same with the exception that an account with a signature restriction might be able to be resold. I don't think this is a horrible idea at all, as spamming is one of the bct offenses that do get enforced. It would give the person much less incentive to spam, right?

Guys, beware. Looks like no one posted a warning in this thread, but there's a scam accusation against BigJon that probably should be resolved before anyone even thinks of sending him money. Take a look at his trust feedback.

So any rationale behind the $600 number, or is this just a wild guess? If you look at where we stand right now, which is below $400, what you're suggesting is quite a jump. Even if bitcoin was a tech stock caught in the middle of a tech stock bubble, this would be a huge gain. If we were to jump to $600 right now I'm afraid it wouldn't be sustainable, just like this recent altcoin microbubble wasn't a few days ago.

I am just waiting for kwukduck to confirm this.
But I suppose we'll have to wait until his research team gets back from lunch. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Personally, I'd be just fine with bitcoin staying at this level for a while or even going lower. But I would prefer it not drop back below $200, because that would sour a lot of folks on bitcoin and it'd be somewhat demoralizing. It's resilient, though, so likely we'd bounce back. Then again if it shot to the moon right now I would not complain.

I find it interesting that BigJon901 hasn't shown up here to refute these claims. I saw him in another thread making disparaging comments against Indians--anyone know if that's his pattern? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1315886.msg13736381#msg13736381I doubt it, but I'm wondering if either 1) A hacker is trying to tarnish his account, or 2) He wants us to think a hacker is trying to tarnish his account.

you can sell drugs like viagra or xanax India has most of the patents on these drugs
That makes no fucking sense. Countries don't hold patents on drugs, pharmaceutical companies do. Pfizer has the Viagra patent, that much I know. Forget who owns the Xaxax patent. You could sell some Indian collectibles, like coins or stamps.

crypto + Paypal is against the TOS Read it before clicking "Accept" ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Here we have a typical annoying fucking Indian who is mad because PayPal doesn't want scum like him on the site Quoted for reference. Don't know if your account was actually hacked or not, but I don't want the above going away any time soon. Edit: While I'm here, did OP ever get his money back? I do recall seeing this thread earlier in the month.

First advice I'd like to give you is that you shouldn't be using an online wallet like Blockchain.info , it's secure ... but It could get hacked , and if they got hacked , your wallet get hacked and if that happens , you lose your funds . So I'd suggest using something like Electrum or Multibit HD for daily uses and if you are holding huge amounts then Hardware wallets or paper wallets are the best for that .
OP, I second the above quote by OSS. I use Mycelium on my phone as a wallet and it's very good so far. As far as this forum goes, do a lot of reading at first and you'll get a feel for the place. BEWARE: There are scammers everywhere, even members who have positive green trust (under their avatar, you'll see) have been known to scam, and there are a few cases of that going on right now. Trust no one until they prove their trustworthiness. Stay away from Investor-based games and the gambling sections. The former is all ponzis and the latter is all degenerate gamblers for the most part. You'll lose your shirt quickly. Welcome and good luck.

yeah your detector is wrong ... if u say soo i dont need thank you all bye ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) Yah and your trust is red, and I think we all say so. WTF is anyone supposed to do with your passport--not even your passport, but a scan of it! Answer: nothing. Read the stickies before asking for a loan. Or don't and don't come back, which is what you'll probably do.
