16021  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: November 28, 2015, 03:14:24 PM
Although filling captchas for a long time can be very boring and tedious job but it can give you some decent amount of btc to start off. When I was a newbie here iused to earn more Bitcoin from faucets than my signature campaign here Smiley

With the worst signature payout you can earn 10k sat for message so far.
With a good faucet (moonbit) you need at least 4 claim in 24 hours to get this amount.
Are you sure about this ? I think that signature are much much better than faucet!

If you use rotator and visit various faucets, you can earn lots of Satoshi.I used to earn 25k Satoshi in two hours from faucets while I needed more time to post here thread related post

it really bored use to fill captcha to get small amounts of btc.
25k sat in 2 hours :O it's a really small amount,
with signature you can make 5 easy post in one hour (there are some signature that pay j.member also for off topic / local post!)
when you become a more "old" user you can earn much much more from a signature campaign... 55k for every post... 4 hours of faucet work!
Some works are payed more than 50 $ per hours ... I think that my time worth more than a couple of satoshi Wink
Also with betting... @ 1.05 ... place 0,01 btc you get easily 40k satoshi...

As promised I tested how long it took to earn 25k Satoshi, and it take 6+ minutes for 18223 satoshi. This is just an example, depends on many factors, but does not require hours.

16022  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What is the fastest someone has earned 1 BTC using faucets? on: November 28, 2015, 02:57:19 PM
Few days ago one lucky guy got 0.5+ BTC on FreeBitco lottery,he posted proof of payment on FreeBitco topic. It is hard to earn 1 BTC from faucets, it takes a long time, unless you have a lot of referrals. If this is the case, then is not a problem to earn 0.5-1 BTC every month.Earnings depend on the price of Bitcoin, because the bigger is the price, reward on faucets are less.

25k satoshi in 2 hours is completely untrue, for that amount you need less than 10 minutes claiming faucets in rotator and that the rewards is 1000+ satoshi.Tomorrow when I'm going through the list of faucets I will measure the time it takes to make 25k Satoshi.
I agree that the signature campaign is a good source of income, but can be combined all, signature+faucets or sport betting Smiley
Do you know in earlier days some faucets used to give 1 bitcoin per claim? The amount of reward in faucets depends on the rate of bitcoin at that time.If bitcoin rate to dollar is low, you get more reward,it is the other way around when bitcoin rate is high. When I first learnt about bitcoin,1 btc was less than 200 $ so most faucets gave 1000 sat per claim

I know that when Bitcoin was practically worthless faucet are paid very big prizes, maybe in the future faucets will pay only 10 satoshi if price of BTC go very high.
16026  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: November 27, 2015, 03:46:38 PM
Sorry, but in my settings I found new:
Send limits
Limits of how much this faucet can payout in a 30 minute window.

What is it? What a "30 minute window"?

How much your faucet can send in 30 minutes. For example if you set it to 0.001 BTC, that's how much the faucet will be able to spend between 12:00 and 12:30. The amount that faucet has spent resets every 30 minutes. If your faucet tries to spend more than that, API will return:

Code:
{"status": 450, "message": "This faucet exceeded it's safety limits!"}

We also plan adding email notifications to that and optional "paranoid mode" that will reset the API kay if the limit is hit.

It's meant to be a protection from hackers stealing all coins if they get the API key in their hands and mass attacks of bots.
It seems great to me! Is there any way to change that message?
For example
Code:
This site has a maximum of x satoshi every half an hour.

I understand that the owners of the faucets want to protection from bots, but do not think about legitimate users. When a user opens your faucet message should warn them "This faucet exceeded it's safety limits!"
If I visit faucet several times today and I do all that is required instead of a reward I get this message it might be called cheating.
Also that new measure that ask to turn off AddBlock and Private Browsing in Firefox prevents in most cases using of faucet even if I disable both?
16027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is having a nice day. Did China find another hack? on: November 27, 2015, 03:25:49 PM
The bump for blackfriday bitcoin sales could be transformed to a dump by merchants that accepted bitcoins and sell to receive fiat money on next day.

It is possible to happen because traders turn BTC in fiat as soon as possible. If everything goes according to those prediction tomorrow the price could drop sharply, hope not too low.

16030  Economy / Speculation / Re: 360$ , what going on ? on: November 26, 2015, 04:24:11 PM
The price goes down, currently on Bitstamp is 341$.It looks like we're back to 300-330$,or pump is not finished yet?

16032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling under 300 again on: November 24, 2015, 05:00:55 PM
There is no obvious reason to see some significant changes in price by the end of this year. Those who want to buy cheap bitcoins hope to fall below 300$,those who would sell them and get money for the holidays hope price go to 400$-500$.
16033  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] OrangeBits - Faucet and unique faucet rotator on: November 24, 2015, 04:29:53 PM
I like the faucet, easy to use and without all the nonsense like anti-bots links and other completely meaningless things.I hope it will stay like this, keep up the good work Smiley
16034  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] ❂ Crypto Land ❂ 2500 Satoshi Every 420 Minutes! on: November 24, 2015, 04:21:50 PM
Also, please consider adding OrangeBits faucet. The minimum payment is 1000 satoshis every 420 minutes.

What is your bitcoin address, your recommendation has earned you 5000 Satoshi! Smiley

Could you make it possible to see the amount of referrals you have, and how much they've earned for you?

That would be a nice addition to faucet Smiley

Done. Added referral counter at top left hand corner of faucet page!

Nicely done, and if it is possible to make statistics for each referral would be even better.Another thing that would be useful is timer, when user log in to see how much time should wait until the next claim.

16036  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLL: Do you vote in your local, regional, and National elections? on: November 22, 2015, 03:31:35 PM
Yes I vote, not because I think that something can change, but because someone else do not vote for me.Politics is a dirty business, and the theft of votes is normal today.
16037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $ 400 soon? on: November 22, 2015, 02:54:35 PM
Unlikely, we'll be under $300 soon Wink

oh... Please
don't say it, now we stable at $320-330
and next week we will stable at $350-$360

i hope at end of this year stable at $500

We're much closer to go below 300$,and considering that many people sell their bitcoins in the next month to get cash it is not likely to price go up to 400$.Unless it happens something like the previous pump,so we have a New Year's gift from China Smiley
16038  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] ❂ Crypto Land ❂ 2500 Satoshi Every 420 Minutes! on: November 22, 2015, 02:22:39 PM
Referral payments is not working, what's the problem?

Edit: Working but with delays.

I think that even without that you have very solid protection against bots in e-mail verification and two captcha.I hope that now faucet will running smoothly for all users Smiley
