Always good news when you see more companies starting to accept crypto - widespread adoption is the ultimate goal.
Also good to see a company ditching the scam coin that is Verge.

there seems no stop to that decrease, as for now. When Bitcoin price was going $10k, $12k, $14k, $16k, $18k in the space of a few weeks, there seemed like there was no stopping the bullrun. The market always seems like it will continue in its current trend, until it doesn't. There is no reason to panic if you still believe in the technology and the innovation. Stop checking the price and come back in a month or two.

There are loads of sites, offering dice, plinko, bust games, roulette, all sorts of card games, sports betting, etc, using bitcoin and a variety of altcoins. Go the the gambling forum here for more info and links: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0.

Everyone's portfolio is down.
Hindsight is 20/20. If I had bought the lows and sold the highs, I would be up. If I bought the right lottery numbers last week, I'd be a millionaire.

This is hilarious. Point out that he just might be wrong, and he responds with "Blah" and his fingers in his ears. This is how children behave. He has a flat Earther approach to discussion - he's the only one who is right, everyone else is wrong, and no amount of evidence will change his mind. Honestly guys, you are all wasting your time here.

I can't understand the logic behind this request. Because he has tried (and spectacularly failed) to get suchmoon, actmyname, and marlboroza to remove the red trust they've given him. Since he can't change his own feedback, it seems he now wants to change the entire trust system to benefit him.

We can only hope that this is the end of Verge. Not private, hacked twice, accidentally forked by their own incompetent devs. The longer it isn't worth zero, the bigger an embarrassment it is to the entire community.

|

And your a chipmixer shill, whats your point. Having a signature is not the same as being an endless shitposter. The fact that you don't understand the difference only proves the point further.

Feels like it would be a mostly-wasted effort since a lot of spammers and individuals with low English coherence will completely disregard the thread and jump straight into bounties/campaigns.
However, that tiny 0.001% of users will benefit from it and I don't see the harm in doing so. Just don't expect any significant results on a macro scale.
I would agree with this, but I don't think Jet Cash is aiming to fix the forum here. This would benefit the small number of newbies that are genuinely trying to learn about crypto, contribute to the forum and better their English skills. Presumably the thread would be in the Beginners' board?

He could have posted in the thread warning me to change collateral or I will receive negative feedback he didn't Absolutely not. It's not the job of senior users (or any user for that matter) to waste their time individually telling other users which rules they are breaking. You chose not to read the rules, and you can't blame anyone but yourself for that.

or if you want to have it your way, your words against mine I'm afraid to say that ten times out of ten, you will lose that argument.

Well guess what? He was wrong this time, at least with me, he bullied me basically
I asked him multiple times if he wanted to solve the issue In big, bold, red letters in the sticky I mentioned earlier: If you completely ignore this sticky and make a loan request with no collateral, without having massive trust on the forum, the chances of you getting negative trusted feedback and therefore having a Trade with Extreme Caution tag is almost 100%. Once again, even if you choose to ignore the rules, they still apply to you.The rules say if you request a loan with no or unacceptable collateral, you will get red trust. That's what you did, and so you got red trust. This is completely open-and-shut. End of discussion.

We need change code topic=4144474 to topic=497545 right? Because if we not change it, when someone click link quote they will be not on target post by theymos. You are absolutely right - thanks for pointing that out. I've reformatted my original post to make it a little easier to follow, and also added in this extra final step.

if I'm opening a thread about abuse, it's merely to point out abuse of power to the authorities Ok, well consider it fully "pointed out". Everyone here has taken note of it being pointed out. You can now lock this thread and all your other pointless threads.

You just can't make this stuff up.
It's essentially the same hack as last time, just using alternating scrypt/lyra2re. Remember last time when the devs accidentally forked their own coin without even realising they had done so in their attempts to stop the hack? Turns out even then, they still didn't fix the exploit. This is utterly hilarious. The Verge devs are beyond incompetent.
The fact the Verge isn't worth zero is a damning indictment on the entire crypto world - that so many people are stupid enough to continue to invest in this complete piece of shit.
To answer your question OP, if Verge ever had any credibility, it would have lost it. It's a disgrace.

Find the post you want to quote, and click on its title to reload the page to that specific post. Then copy the message number (last 8 digits) from the URL.
Then, in the thread you want to reply in, click on "quote" on any post. In the URL bar on the new page, paste over the 8 digits after "quote=" with your new 8 digits. Press enter.
To ensure the quote links properly, you then need to take the 7 digits after "topic=" from the original post (as in step 1), and paste them over the digits after "link=topic=" in the body of your reply.
Edit: reformatted and added in final step. Thanks to shahzadafzal and my dream2021.

Read marlboroza tag on me, there is no point in reporting him to moderators as trust is not moderated, all I can do is to point it out for people to see.
Tagging me for trolling is abuse of power. Read this back to yourself. Now read it back again. Now read it back again, but really slowly this time. Basically you are saying that using the trust system (which you finally agree isn't moderated) in a way you don't like is abuse, therefore implying it is moderated. Your logic is paradoxical. Your argument is nonsense.
|
|
|
I want to remember other users he is an abuser Your negative trust will be on his page forever, unless you decide to remove it. That's all the reminding the community needs. You can lock this thread now.

I did not broke anything as I was willing to change collateral and did not know gaming accounts were invalid I mean, there's a stickied topic in the lending board entitled "The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!". It includes the following statement: What is not considered collateral?
-snip- - Most valuable online accounts can easily be recovered by social engineering (the user contacting support to say they were hacked, and regain control of the account) Examples: Steam Just because you didn't read the rules doesn't meant they don't apply to you. Ignorantia juris non excusat.
