The match against Celta Vigo will build Madrid's confidence before facing Chelsea in the Champions League. Benzema's recovery will revive Madrid's game after being crushed by Barca. Madrid must win against Celta, and I hope none of their important players get injured again against Chelsea.

The CL game is crucial so I think its possible that some regular players might not feature in this match or maybe some of them will be substituted out earlier. LaLiga games are crucial but given the 9 points lead on the table as toppers I think maybe they will easy out in this gameweek a bit and focus more on the upcoming CL game.

Manchester City seems to be a lot stronger now than the beginning of the season and Liverpool doesn't look like there match to me, even in a fixture of Manchester City vs Liverpool, I don't see Liverpool winning.

How are City better when they recently lost against Tottenham and had a draw against Crystal Palace while Liverpool hasnt lose a single game in EPL since 2022. Liverpool is better but it doesnt mean that they are going win easily against City. Both teams need full 3 points in this game to stay ahead on the top of the league so its definitely going to be an interesting game as both team will try to attack starting from the first minute

I think City are still the same, well some defeats in between happens but that's what play out surprise with every team. Liverpool slipped down a little in starting gameweeks but their performance in 2022 and with arrival of Luis Diaz has been phenomenal. It's a tough fixture as whoever wins gets to lead one over another so it could go any way - Liverpool or City or maybe even draw. Doesn't matters how well the started and how well they are doing now as when  the matters are crucial every player teams try to put their best out.

The news about Ronaldo leaving Man United I think it has been around for a long time but it is always associated with how bad Man United's game is at the moment but the issue continues until this news comes back I am also not sure he will just leave.
For me, seeing Ronaldo's large salary is not the main problem. I see Ronaldo's game is still quite aggressive even at an old age, so I think this news is still not confirmed to be true.
He can survive maybe with his new coach later.

He is giving his best but its some players who are taking the team back. I would say in order for United to back on track again, they need to revamp the squad. There are some players which needs to be replaced and find better replacements. Attacking mid, wings and strikers are good but they need some changes in defensive midfield and center back.

Regarding coach, I don't think Rangnick is leading the team badly. He has done great ever since he arrived, maybe because of the status of the team everyone expects them to just keep on getting wins in their fixtures but compared to Ole he has done very well. Also, United has changed lot of coaches and they never had much success with anyone.. does bringing Ten Haag or some other change things up for sure? if yes then how well was their intuition earlier with the coaches hired. They need to bring in changes in squad also.

According to footballinsider247 Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Manchester after the end of this season even if he has a 2 years contract.

Source: https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-man-united-ronaldo-transfer/

Sad news, although I'm not sure if this is news and not fiction - most recently Ronaldo said that he would stay at United even if the club did not get into the Champions League. I understand that he is old and his salary is huge, but he benefits the club and can play more substitutes next season. As for his salary, his name easily beats it off. I'm not sure if this is the right management decision.

I don't think that he is gonna leave. United is having problems and players of his standard don't back out of teams with problems and instead they help in their tough times by staying. It's just a news predicting his departure just because United are performing poor and seems baseless.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2022, 08:23:46 PM
I think he should move because Manchester United is not will make a great place right now. And it will help the player a lot if he moves to another team and tries to get much more success with that team instead of Manchester United. Because I don't see Manchester United being stable even in the next season. So, it will be a wise decision to leave and join Juventus or even any other talk premier League team.

Nobody loves to stay at club where they are losing but for player to move there should be interested club rumours. I don't see any rumours related to Pogba except for PSG one. Pogba is a great player but right now I feel like he is not able to play properly according to the formation which is deployed at United. Juventus is a good option but do Juventus want him back? Any source if possible.

We have seen many times that Barcelona did draw though opponent team was weak compare to Barcelona. Win possiblity of Barcelona is high but it is not sure that Barcelona will win this match definitely.

Draw is a possibility but given the addition to the squad and the way they are linking up nicely in match is what makes me inclined towards Barca more in this upcoming match. I am sure most of us will be feeling the same way I am. Still draw might happen but Sevilla have to work around a lot in the match.

^^They have talented players but yet they rather choose to sit them out on bench and those with names play. I think everyone should be handed out fair amount of chances to prove themselves. I hardly think Mata is gonna upgrade and Cavani is bit hard to say. City , Chelsea or Liverpool? 🤣🤣 Right now they are having hard time against teams below top 8-9. They do need to sell some players out and find some solid defence options.

What you all think about Atletico Madrid and its next match against Alaves on 3rd April. If Atletico Madrid win this match then yes its going to be on 3rd place if Barcelona wins and Sevilla looses. Lets say even if Sevilla wins, Atletico Madrid will move up to 3rd place. Yes Barcelona has a got tough competitor behind. Atletico Madrid id equally strong as Barcelona. Yes Sevilla has to find out where they are going wrong.

Barca at current stage should be too much to handle for Sevilla. It's a tough match but Barca know their chances to getting into second position. It would be a great comeback as Barca once were around 10th position when Koeman was sacked. Sevilla or Atletico would be in third position but that depends upon the score of their respective matches.

I have heard some news like Arsenal want to sign Besiktas player Larin. I hope that they don't think of signing him for the centre-forward position. Because everyone would expect them to sign a decent striker to achieve bigger things in the future. They can't make do with a player like Larin. He is an average player to me but maybe they are just thinking of making him a substitute player. Arsenal will need a really good striker to be more effective in scoring. They are wasting too many opportunities now but still they are the 4th team.
Arsenal desperately needs to sign a world-class striker because they will not be able to compete with the striker they are attempting to sign. Lacazette and Nketia's contracts will expire at the end of the season unless the management decides to extend one of their contracts. As a result, they must place a priority on signing a striker who will be known around the world in order to maintain the club's standard as they attempt to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.

World class striker is a bit of too much. Yeah we do need a good striker but a world class striker will take a toll on our budget. I think someone young with potential to become a world class striker would be sufficient enough. We are slowly building up and I think it should go that way. Not necessary to pay huge amount of fee to bring in a world class striker.

Transfer rumours:

Juventus are intent on signing Chelsea and Germany defender Antonio Rudiger, 29, this summer. A lot of clubs are interested in Rudiger but what he will decide in the end?

I've also heard about Rudiger to Juventus rumour but I think lot of teams will join in and he can go anywhere..and by I anywhere I mean giant clubs. He is someone on whom everyone will be keeping tabs on the situation.

Ajax manager Erik ten Hag is surprised Manchester United have not offered him a contract to become manager after telling the club money will not be an issue in luring him to Old Trafford. An interesting story. What Manchester United is actually planning? Do they have any plan or clear strategy?  Grin

I think it's a false rumour. I think ten Hag to United is still good at it was and honestly I feel that he is the one leading the list to lead United from next season.

Argentina forward Paulo Dybala could move from Juventus to Serie A rivals Inter Milan, with Inter lining up the 28-year-old as a replacement for fellow Argentine Lautaro Martinez, 24. Very strange. Until recently, Juve planned to build a team around him as a leader and now they are ready to offer him to the main competitors for the title.

Quite possible, usually players from Italian moves prefer to stay in the same league but still can't say for clear. Inter's strikers are losing their touch and they need someone new is what I feel.

Borussia Dortmund's Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland will move to Manchester City or Real Madrid this summer, but the 21-year-old has rejected City's first big offer. So the story came down to two clubs and the question of who can offer more money?  Grin

To Real Madrid I still find it hard to believe considering how close the are in bringing Mbappe to Real Madrid. To me it feels like either it will be Mbappe or Haaland to Madrid but not both.

PSG have made Manchester United's France midfielder Paul Pogba, 29, their top transfer target. Should Pogba come as a replacement for Mbappe?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/60888399

Pogba as Mbappe replacement? Honestly Pogba is not a striker so don't think that he can fill that void if Mbappe leaves but since they have strikers left on the bench maybe they will work it out someway.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 27, 2022, 04:49:34 PM
I watch the match for enjoy that moment and fun i didn’t support any team a lot but i like Manchester City. and i enjoy that team game.
They can play very well and I watch their game with my mind and enjoy it with pleasure. that team is bit special in EPL for me. That's it. he he
Which match are you watching? So far, no matches have started because they are in break time. Man City is still preparing to stay away from points from the pursuit of Liverpool. It is very likely that the rivalry will restart for the two clubs in the first week of April. Liverpool and Man City are good candidates for the title.

He is referring to the previous matches in Premier League. Liverpool and City are the only one contending for the title but in worst case scenario which is like 3% or 4% maybe Chelsea also join in but it's City or Liverpool and everyone has got that at this point. It's not that far out and we will soon get to know who will be in lead. Also even though if any one of these teams win the other one still has the chance but the one ahead will still be at an advantage.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 26, 2022, 09:46:56 PM
The problem: Lewandowski isn't a player who feels comfortable sitting on the bench, he wants to play regularly. Aubameyang and Lewandowski have the same position, they are central forward. Since Aubameyang can play effectively as a central forward of Barcelona right now, which means Lewandowski will sit on the bench as long as Aubameyang is in his best performance. Because of that reason, I very doubt if Lewandowski wants to move to Barcelona. He must know that it can be a bad destination for his career.

Yeah too much striker is what makes me also feel like Lewandowski to Barca is not gonna happen. If Lewandowski also comes in someone has to lose their play time in that list. As for Aubameyang, he can adjust on left wing position so I think he will be adjusted but rest might lose some play time of this is gonna happen. Lewandowski is a goal machine and no way one would just make him sit out.

Well right now Lewandowski is Bayern's player and Bayern could be working on a contract extension as they will be going to lose their leading goalscorer.
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 26, 2022, 09:28:19 PM
It's just that Arsenal have one game to spare, so they seem to be favourites with Spurs and Man U... But Arsenal have only recently started playing well, before that they were losing to the underdogs, which shows their unstable play... There are still games ahead that could change everything... I wouldn't be confident that Man U and Arsenal won't switch places, or that Spurs won't take the lead...

Arsenal are having this good form running since mid Oct or Nov I think, bit of hurdles and fumbles in between but they are still running 4th quite strongly. They might not be a solid team like City but they are in road to that. They are slowly building up so still might take some time to bring in better consistent performance.

The only thing that I think is a concern is scoring goals. Lacazette is great but we need someone who can score goals on a consistent basis. Vlahovic would have been perfect but that's gone now. Arteta also said that they would try for a striker in next transfer window but for now hope Arsenal just keeps on working like this and manage to finish top 4.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 26, 2022, 09:18:20 PM
True. It is like a fantasy, not sure what Barcelona management is doing. What for signing Lewandowski or Mbappe? I don't think they need new strikers, they already have many strikers right now. I suspect Barcelona only wants to get attention by doing this.  Cheesy

Lewandowski is having contract problems with Bayern and I think he is very much likely to leave free in next transfer window. Luuk de Jong is currently on loan at Barca so I think he will go back to Sevilla. Maybe Barca are looking to replace then? Lewandowski is going free and also won't give as much dent to their financial condition as compared to Haaland and Mbappe whom newspapers and online articles recently linked up.
1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 26, 2022, 09:00:31 PM
This season they are also in contention for another title, in the european league. There they will also try to take the trophy, because they can and must, so as not to undermine the morale of the team and the fans. There is no point in fighting for first place this season, it is probably better to prepare for next season

They are up against Eintracht Frankfurt in Europa and Barca should be the favourite to advance.  Given the fo of Barca right now I don't think Frankfurt possess much threat. If Barca were to win Europa, that would make a remarkable season for Xavi and for Barca. Yeah Barca are a team with better standards but given the tough times they went through from 1-2 years, a league win will definitely give them a bit of a relief and confidence back again.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 26, 2022, 08:17:01 PM
Liverpool are in smoking hot form right now. It is not matter of where it is going to be played but yeah that do effect but compared to the level of the teams I don't think it's gonna effect much. Both teams are high on confidence and I don't think that crowds cheering or their chants would take much effect.

Gotta agree on this but the match decider will be on the next round between City and Liverpool. Both teams are pretty even right now despite of their recent form, City had it easier because they were far ahead then the other teams few rounds ago but it is getting on their nerve now because Liverpool is already closing in on the gap

Honestly leaning towards Liverpool but it most likely could be a draw though
In recent past weeks , City however showed a sign of stumble and I think Liverpool have good enough chance to shatter them. Although City also have lot of talented players so I think it's pretty much even. I am not sure whom to pick but I hope for an exciting match. Whoever wins gets the lead in the title race so yeah very likely would be an intense one.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 26, 2022, 05:29:05 PM
Manchester United? lol Grin You probably meant Manchester City. In fact, the result of the Manchester City-Liverpool match will determine who is the biggest contender for the championship. The team that I think has been playing better lately is Liverpool. They are luckier than City. I think we will see Liverpool as champions this year.
The match would be played on 10th of April, we should wait till the time. Let us be conscious and consider that the match would be played at Etihad Stadium, which means Manchester City is at home while it is away match for Liverpool. It would be a very tough match that could lead to draw. Liverpool are playing excellently and they have their peak performance but we should not underestimate Manchester City at all, anyone of them can win the match, the march is unpredictable.

Liverpool are in smoking hot form right now. It is not matter of where it is going to be played but yeah that do effect but compared to the level of the teams I don't think it's gonna effect much. Both teams are high on confidence and I don't think that crowds cheering or their chants would take much effect.

It is definitely a good match and it will be interesting to see how manager manages them tactically.

For those who thought Mbappe to Barca was a possibility: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1507716857385656325 . Those were just a fake rumour started to get some attraction and nothing else. Their budget is pretty much on the line so it was quite clear to those who followed their status that Mbappe is not an option for Barca.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 25, 2022, 08:47:08 PM
I think that Man Utd goes into prime back, they need to re-make the entire team and sell players that are currently a problem in the team. There is too many problems in the team the coach and players, too many superstars such as Pogba that are a problem currently.
Man Utd has moments when indivivdual quality comes in-play but the entire team and players currently arent playing as a team

Totally agree with this, about sometimes individual quality coming in play and lot of things going on wrong but I think that only few players needs to be replaced and bring in strong players for now. I believe that there are some players who can still improve so I think better try to improve them and see what they got. And some are just lost cause. There are lot of players who has the potential also and proved elsewhere but are not given chances. So yeah lot of problems.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 25, 2022, 08:04:01 PM
Manchester City is much better then Atletico Madrid. I think that Man City is currently in top 3 clubs in the world. I dont know how Atletico Madrid can survive against Man Cities deadly attack honestly. Even if Simeone parks the bus i think they dont stand the chance

I agree, the way City press I think will be lot more difficult for Atletico to handle. They might able to handle till one point of the game but will break out to them eventually. This is not as easy as facing United and even while facing United they were having a tough time. Atletico might have a shot in counters against City but I expect City's current defence to deal with them easily. I think City are very much the favorites to advance.
