 I bet me and gonzou made more off of this coin than most the people posting here on the tread Why? Because we weren't emotionally attached to it, weren't blinded by our faith in it, saw what was happening, and got out while the price was still right. I still hold 30% my initial investment because you never know what might happen. But, for the most part: on to the next one. Dude you kept telling people to buy MINT as it collapsed in value and it never recovered. At the same time I told people not to buy MINT and buy blackcoin. Since then Blackcoin has gone up 1000% in value (not even an exaggeration) whilst MINT has lost 40% value. Keep up with the amazing trades bro I never told anybody to buy anything. And I'm holding my Mint so I haven't lost anything. The average buy in for me with mint is 17, so I'm only slightly down currently and I don't care about the short-term price of Mint I only care about the long-term goals. I can make a quick buck elsewhere, here for example. Also, notice how the price of Mint is actually higher than it was before the pump and dump? Much like BC? So, actually Mint is currently up about ~200% if you want to look at things that way. Thanks, I will keep up the amazing trades! I've made a bunch of FAC an FLT lately! Maybe when BC is on a clear uptrend again I will buy in for more with the profits I have made in the meantime and from my previous BC sell off |

Your attitude towards BC suggest you have never once been in on BC, and have been on the sidelines the entire time. Instead, you've bag held MINT the entire time while BC has moved well above it. just wanted to say to some of you guys that are new to flutter, this community has been ROCK solid since the beginning. once this coin starts rising way way high, there is not gonna be some crazy drop like blackcoin. so relax, flutter will take care of you  I never understood this blackcoin hype anyway. Have I missed any innovation it brought? In my eyes pure pump & dump scam. Flutter is sooo much better! Well it certainly wasn't a scam and I made more money than I could have dreamed. But, it was indeed the greatest pump the crypto world has ever seen. It's still going through an after-pump phase. The people in that thread are religious about blackcoin lol. Price has held up very well though, shows what a dedicated community can achieve. This is what is really annoying about the BC community, they are all zombies. Even after being dumped on, they still don't seem to understand how the market is being constantly manipulated and is at the whim of a few whales (like most coins, admittedly). I tried to warn people that BC's growth wasn't real or sustainable on multiple occasions before the big PnD happened, but nobody listened to me and I was instantly dismissed as a troll just because I support other coins. They don't seem to understand that other coins have things to offer as well, and that diversification is a good thing. I don't think BC will ever reach the high it did again (at least, not in any sustainable way). IMHO there are too many burnt bagholders who want to cut their losses as soon as possible (as soon as the price reaches a certain range), not to mention the huge number of early adopters (who still hold the vast majority of the coins) that are still up 500%+ on their investments and will continue to be tempted to sell more and more as the price rises or if the price stagnates and they don't think they will be able to get out any higher. That is what happens when you pump up the price of something so quickly that there is no real support being built along the way. Plus, who the hell is going to buy into BC once it approaches that high again after seeing what happened to everybody who bought in so high last time? Nonetheless, I am still holding 30% of my initial investment in BC to see where it goes. |

Just looking at the "Rich List" of Mintcoin holders, there are currently 231 wallets with between 10 million and 100 million Mintcoins and 31 wallets with over 100 million Mintcoins. We only need 17 of these 262 wallets to give 1 million coins each to the https://coinkite.com/faq/alts fund and we will be able to show CoinKite we as a community are dedicated to the long term growth and viability of Mintcoin. CoinKite is a Canadian business, what this means is they are regulated by the Canadian Government just like a bank, the same as Vault of Satoshi. They are also a very big part of why Bitcoin is so widely accepted as a payment platform for goods and services through out the world. They have developed a system that enables the user to actually have a debit card that holds BTC, LTC and will have XTN (Testnet) as well as Blackcoin, and can be used to pay for retail purchases wherever a CoinKite terminal is. If we are able to get Mintcoin onto this system, then when we approach a new retail business regarding accepting Mintcoin, it will be such an easy sell if we already have this in place. I ask you all to please see the importance of this, and send some Mintcoins to the address on the website. Thank you I agree. I wish there were some way to outreach to all the large stake-holders. They have the most to gain from a development like this, it is an investment in their investment. If everybody simply donated the coins they've earned from interest over the last month the goal would be met in no time! |

Coinkite is the first in a line of competitive companies trying to do the same thing. 25 BTC is a lot to ask to be considered, and I don't like "gambling" my Mint to see if we can reach their arbitrary goal in 11 days.
That being said, it's the only kid on the block right now, and early adoption could mean long-term establishment for Mintcoin. So I sent a measly 25000 Mint in the hope that the community can convince the Coinkite folks this is worth adding simply by showing support in large numbers, rather than large BTC amounts. Hopefully, bribes aren't the only language that talks.
Maybe the MINT whales will see this as a money making opportunity and pad the wallet address.
Even if we don't get on Coinkite now, there will be a competitor in the future we may have a better shot at due to android apps and such.
I didn't even know this existed until just a moment ago. If we donate 25 BTC worth will they add us? I have just sent the following email to CoinKite in hopes that I can convince them to extend the deadline for this. I TRULY believe this is something that HAS to happen to Mintcoin. A while back I asked Zinc Save to include us in their payment system and they required a $12,000.00 USD commitment from us to do the same thing. Well, here's my request, and I truly hope that your company accepts. I have been spreading the word about this since I first saw it this morning. Everyone else in Mintcoin has just found out about this as well. So far just this morning there has been over 1.6 Million Mint already sent to the address listed, and I am going to continue to convince people to send some coins your way.
I would respectfully ask, that your company consider extending the deadline if at all possible. This would make it a much more feasible time frame for us to raise the needed Mint to have our coin included as well. I know that should Mintcoin be implemented into the CoinKite system, it would not only increase the value of Mintcoin, but would also be an added value to CoinKite.

This is a fantastic opportunity! Let's make it happen! People who have left coins stagnant on Mintpal should consider directing some of them towards this instead, I think it would be a worthwhile investment  Not only would you be directly supporting the effort, but by removing some of the sell walls and allowing the price to rise everybody's support will be amplified. |

Hey ... I'll admit that I day trade a lot on some coins. But you will find yourself locked out of low prices on FLT and not able to get back in where you want.
You will notice that no matter how many sellers there are always buyers and the price does not stop rising last 2 days.

Fluttercoin is the first and currently only coin with PoT, and it combines it beautifully with PoW and PoS. Don't get me wrong, I like Faircoin too, but I consider Fluttercoin fundamentally superior. |

we need BC/FIAT. so that they can cash out their coins without damaging the BC market.
we have this. why cant people just look these same things get repeated over and over. where i can't find any.. and if there is any it wasn't been popular here. They exist, they're not heavily used though, one is https://prelude.io/trade/usd/bc - I did easily part with 5000BC a few days ago as an attempt to stimulate the market. So there are buyers - but sellers are few and far between right now. Which is to be expected I guess. It'd be great if MintPal eventually took on fiat pairings but I imagine that's a horrible amount of murky legal water to get themselves into. There is a coin that is successfully testing multisig gateways and using fiat bridges with ripple to let them deal with the legal side. Full laumch is weeks away. Then you can trade anything for anything without needing an exchange. If I posted a link it would probably get deleted though Any chance you PM that link? Sounds very interesting. BlackCoin has the most volume than any other coin on Mintpal, and Mintpal has made a lot of money from BlackCoin. It is now time for BlackCoin to go to the next level and get its own pairs. I am thinking BC/Doge and maybe BC/Mint. Many of you would like to pitch in but don't know how, well this is a way you can make a difference. Please take 5 minutes and email Mintpal. Aske them to give BC its own pairs. Let keep emailing them every day until they make it happen!!!Why do you want a BC/Mint pair? I thought you hated Mint? Hi everyone, I created a Linux wallet for non Debian Linuxes (specifically, for Arch and Manjaro). You can download it on mintcoin-central.com/downloads it is called "Wallet 1.8 Linux (Arch/Manjaro) with coin control". I will upload it on mintcoin.cc as soon as possible. It doesn't have coin control yet since I am using the official git. Please notice this is my very first compilation. It works for me but it might not for you. PM me!
