1621  Economy / Economics / Re: New Year - The crypto economics on: January 03, 2022, 05:11:20 PM
If you have grab all the best market opportunities in 2021, then it will not be surprising if you will end the year seeing all your investments are in good shape. And as we look forward for 2022, i think there will be a new batch for bullish and bearish season, and of course short corrections that will also bring opportunities to invest in the market.
2021 was filled with a lot of opportunities, there were lots of cryptocurrencies that were really bullish in the year 2021. We saw Bitcoin increase to a really high price, and apart from Bitcoin we also saw Doge coin, and ShibaInu, both meme coins were able to increase to a really high price as well. And investors who were able to get on these investments as early as possible were able to make really good amount of profit.

There were also many other outcomes that increased in value. And that’s for this new year 2022, analysts has been predicting that there would be a bull run for the Altcoins market in this year. But we don’t know how accurate that prediction is going to be. They already predicted a bull Bitcoin that would have happened before the year 2021 was over, but that never happened. Maybe we might see that happen in this year, and Bitcoin might reach another all time high price, or maybe not. We just don’t know it yet.
1622  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin allows tax evaders, Please pay attention.... on: January 03, 2022, 04:03:58 PM
It is relatively difficult to draw the line whether what you receive is taxable or not, given that cryptocurrencies (or BTC to be specific) is taxable in the first place.

Unlike income, streams of revenues that are particularly categorized under the laws are taxable, cryptocurrencies have a league on their own in which a law must be passed in order for them to be taxable. Currently, most countries are silent on the status of BTC in their country (e.g. they chose to tolerate it, etc.). But once there is no law declaring it to be taxable, then I guess it is unfair to say that BTC allows tax evaders.
In my country it is the same as the tax that you pay when you profit from some assets. Like for example if I give my fiat and get dollars, and then dollar goes up, I made a profit right? So, I sell my dollars and get back into my nations fiat, while doing that I pay a "tax" or you could call it a fee or whatever and that's how government makes a profit. Same as bitcoin and other crypto, if I get in at 100, and get out at 200, then the extra 100 dollars which is the profit gets taxed and that's it, if I get in at 100 and get out at 80, I made a loss and they charge me nothing.

If I get in, and never get out then I am never taxed, because it is unrealized at that moment. This is the most perfect way and we are very happy about it. Since I earn mine and not "profit" from trading, mine is charged like income which is not really that well and I am paying higher amount but it is fine so far, as long as it is legal and regulated.
1623  Economy / Economics / Re: Corporations use inflation as an excuse to raise prices and fatten profits on: January 02, 2022, 09:54:42 PM
Its domino effect towards that happening and only greedy businessmen gain from this and the one who suffer are those people who live on pay their pay checks so maybe its good for government to take action on this and always monitor on what oligarch does since if they let the rich men run the economy and the government will be their puppet then for sure the economy sinks and poverty will be rampant in the country.
Governments, or more precisely the politicians that decide on what the government should do, gets paid bribes and that's how oligarchs stay wealthy. They get laws passed for themselves. Just the biggest example is the oil industry, they give money to politicians and then pollute and kill the planet as they wish while the whole humanity hurts because of it whereas they are racking up more profits.

Same with everything else, people end up doing whatever they want to do and end up bribing the politicians for doing it and politicians are not really doing anything about it and that's why I feel like we are not going to see something decent made by the government to protect the people like us who live pay check to pay check.
1624  Economy / Speculation / Re: New year new speculation on: January 02, 2022, 09:20:26 PM
To find out a new ATH requires mature analysts and conduct previous studies, currently there are many projects available and make us have the choice to start investing. Making investment patterns, strategies and methods requires knowledge to make it easier for us to learn one of the projects we want to invest in, strategies can be made in two groups, long term or short term, depending on the level of success of the coin, with strategy, our investment will yield good returns.
I have to say short term is harder than the long term one. Long term is finding a good coin for the long term, if you really want to risk as little as possible then you simply just buy bitcoin and you do nothing else, that's more than enough and you are going to profit. However when we are talking about short term, that's a different beast and we need to realize that there is nothing that could be making short term trading easy forever.

Even if you study hard and learn everything you should learn until this moment, the market will always be volatile and be surprising and you need to keep learning more and more stuff to keep up with the times. It's not easy to become a day trader, it is not impossible neither since there are a lot of people who do it, but like 70% of those people end up losing money, so you will have to work hard to be in that 30% that earns money.
1625  Economy / Economics / Re: To be financially well and healty you need to find fund manager on: January 02, 2022, 08:35:47 PM
The thing is, having a fund manager is always unnecessary until it becomes something you just can't do without. Even in a sole business, your most likely to have a manager to take the time and look out for the growth and backdrops of your asset and wealth.

If you are a really successful person, you would fund out that, the more your success and wealth grows on you, the more managing it becomes really over whelming. This becomes a very disturbing thing and makes the need to have another pair of eyes looking and perhaps giving you an over view at what is going on in your establishment necessary. Worst case scenario, you having multiple streams of income and some really large once. It just becomes inevitable!
Even when you are richer than your wildest dreams, depending on the person this could be few million dollars or could be billions who knows. There is a situation where you could use crypto and be your own fund manager and that's fine. Sure in the asset world with gold and stock markets and all of that would be smart to get a fund manager because that is a different beast, it is a centralized beast and you may need someone along you that could help you with something like that.

However, crypto is not like that, in crypto you are your own king and that's how you get to become rich and you do not need anyone else to tell you what to do with the money you have. Buy any coin you want, sell anything you want, trade or hodl anything you want and that's fine because in crypto we have decentralization and there is nobody that can navigate you better than yourself.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 02, 2022, 08:12:30 PM
Arsenal have missed many opportunities, but do not forget that Manchester City's defense is one of the best in the Premier League this season. Making goals against them is not an easy task at all.

I like Manchester's strategy. They were more focused on ball possession, with 71% ball possession by Manchester City. Due to which Arsenal did not get a chance to attack too much. Moreover, one of the reasons for their defeat was Gabriel's red card.
I do not think that defense matters that much when you are that much up in the table. West ham got 27 goals scored on them and they are 5th, arsenal has 25 and 4th, United got 26 and 7th whereas Wolves had only 14 goals scored on them and they are at 8th. Which shows you that having a great defense is not enough to be at the top, Chelsea has the same 14 goal scored on them but they are second whereas City has just one less goal with 13 and at the top with a great cushion point difference. All of which shows that you need both defense and offense at the same time.

Arsenal has a great offense, they scored 33 goals so far and most of them came after that horrible start so they really do well on offense. Martinelli was the proof on that game, dude could get a hattrick but just got unlucky, which is why I would say that the result was not just City having a good game, it was also a bit unlucky for Arsenal.
1627  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse or mature? on: January 02, 2022, 07:46:04 PM
I think the stability level of bitcoin has been tested, bitcoin has died many times in the market, but because the resilience of bitcoin is getting bigger and bigger, if because of the correction we say that bitcoin is finished, then how are their conditions when they first appeared in crypto, sometimes -sometimes it's this correction that makes bitcoin and other coins big pumps, so there's no need to worry too much in these kind of market conditions, because bitcoin has gone through other problems that are much bigger than now.
People will say bitcoin "will die" all the time, there is no stopping that. https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/ look at this website and you will see only a portion of it, not the whole time it has been said that it will die but you will see it from major outlets there. Even up until the last days of 2021 people talked about how it is a scam and it will end in tears and we all know that it is not true.

Some people will keep on claiming they know who satoshi is, how bitcoin will be zero and how they are going to end up losing all of their money if they invest to bitcoin and all of that. There is none of that going on in real life, these people are just "hoping" that it would happen. Bitcoin will always survive.
1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 02, 2022, 07:14:07 PM
Just said this in another thread: look at Liverpool right now. Klopp said it is like a lottery every morning when the team wakes up waiting for their first test results. Now he himself is positive. Even in this coming week nobody knows how hard one of the teams might be hit by the virus and Italy is pretty strict about it.
I like this description of lottery, you never know who will be the next infected player and how many he contacted before testing positive... Many EPL teams were affected by the virus and there was many postponed games. In Serie A the situation isn't better but the decision of postponing games aren't taken easily letting teams criticise each others and blame health authorities for taking or not any decision.
I would say that this new variant called omicron is a bit different compared to others. Both UK and Italy have around 150k+ new cases every single day and that is a horrible situation obviously, every nation is getting a lot more people sick and it is sad to see people dying all the time because of it.

However, the death numbers are not as increasing as the new case numbers, normally let's say from one date to another if the new cases increased 2x, then death usually increased nearly as much, because if 1 out of 100 dies, then 10 out of 1000 dies and 100 out of 10k dies, that is how it goes, sure a few would move give or take, like 8-12 and not exactly 10, but you get the point. This time around death numbers didn't change as much as the new cases did, so it means that we are getting a bit more immune towards it and that is a great news, still better to be ready for anything but at least there is a slither of hope.
1629  Economy / Speculation / Re: What about 2022? on: January 02, 2022, 07:01:18 PM
I am mostly turning into pegged coins right now. I am not sure about bitcoin because there are big institutions has bitcoin now.

But for the alts, they seem like overvalued and very easily manupulated. Lots of meme coin, lots of shit coin has millions of value. That can't be like this forever. I was there when 2018 happened, now i am more careful.
I do not trust those stablecoins all that much to be fair. I am not saying that they are bad, but all I am thinking about is how they are not as trustworthy as the crypto currencies that I buy. Obviously we are talking about something that is a bit more dangerous than usual, but that doesn't change the fact that centralization is what kills crypto.

There is a good amount of situation where people need to realize stablecoins that are based on just one company means that the moment that company bankrupts or decides to steal all of your money then we are going to end up with absolutely nothing at all. I am not willing to take that risk. Which is why I distributed all of my portfolio into many different coins and tokens, that's how I decrease the risk, it could be a lot better in the future hopefully but even if there is a drop in one of them, others will cover the difference.
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 02, 2022, 06:49:03 PM
I don't think there will be immediately chemistry though, Bosh has been out for years and maybe he will be given limited minutes too. Maybe some fans are going to be sentimental to see him play with Lebron again. But it doesn't mean it will translate that the Lakers will become a good team. There's a lot that needed to be done in Lakers, I mean we have seen how the team turns into a the laughing stock of the NBA because of it's superstars not jiving along and have streak of losses.
I seriously doubt that anyone would be willing to take that risk. Bosh was basically "forced" to retire because he had heart disease and that's why he is not playing anymore, I really do not think that he could come back because teams didn't want to play him. He is already out of contract I believe, been a few years probably, he could go to any team he wanted to and still didn't because teams didn't want a player dying on the floor.

Considering covid is also a risky thing, combine that with what Bosh has, it would be very horrible for him to actually play in that level anymore. We have to realize that he is just too old and too out of shape but more importantly too risky to sign right now.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: January 02, 2022, 06:18:07 PM
the spread of covid is still worrying so far even though the league is still rolling and I hope this spread can be quickly resolved. Because if the situation is still like this, I'm just worried that the teams that play in UCL are not in good condition because it's possible that one of the players, staff and coaches may be infected. As it is now, from one of the news that I got that Klopp was unable to accompany Liverpool in today's EPL match against Chelsea because Klopp was identified as having Covid. Cases like that are certainly a concern, because if it happened to a team competing in UCL then it would have a bad impact on the team itself and of course very unfortunate.
I do not know what can be done about it, it is a disease and it is a virus that spreads like wildfire and it has been nearly 2 full years with it and we still can't figure out how to fix it. Last season was a lot better, but we are not doing anything different this year compared to last season, for some reason this season players are getting covid a lot more faster than last season, probably due to new variant being easier to spread as well.

I have to say that there is a good chance we could end up with postponing the whole season once again like we did in 2020. That year we gave a break for a while, then came back to finish once again with no one in the stadium and I am fearing that the same thing could happen again.
1632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading strategy would be a good start for new traders? on: January 02, 2022, 03:30:52 PM
which trading strategy  is good for a new traders ? I mean short term  or long term.
Moving average crossover based strategy might get you positive results in long terms and for short term, I never recommend anyone to try due to its known pitfalls. Better adapt any long term strategy and try to maximize your profits by incorporating candle stick patterns and other tools along with.

In short-term trading, when to buy and when to sell ?
It will be based on where your technical signals about to enter and exit. There cannot be any general timing or price level to buy and sell but you need to follow you analysis.

In short-term trading, do I need to sell the coin  on the day ?
You can convert your short term trading into long term based on spot exchanges hence there will be no compulsion to sell within a day when you are trading at spot markets.
1633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we have trading chatroom exclusive for bitcointalk traders? on: January 02, 2022, 01:32:04 PM
Does bitcointalk members have trading community chatroom (e.g, Dicord, Telegram)? I tried searching about this but it never gave me any useful results. Also, I don't want to spam the trading board for frequently asking short questions.
Instead of that, you can ask your doubts and get proper guidelines from any crypto exchange's official chat boards. I am sure almost all exchanges are having such official discussing chatrooms for exact same purposes. This community members for privacy reasons have not taken such initiative.

For example, bianance official telegram channel: https://t.me/BinanceExchange

If you still bother about this community people then you may try the unofficial bitcointalk discord and telegram groups; even these are not meant for only trading discussion, you may meet a trader from here (I remember I had seen them on meta but could not find them right away).
1634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signal Notifications on: January 02, 2022, 09:45:51 AM
Is there any way of  setting up a parameter that would automatically send me a notification on all coins on binance that hit the indicator that I'm looking for?
As far as I am concerned you can make use of limit-stop-loss order for this purposes. Otherwise, you may use few mobile apps which are dealing with crytocurrencies alone. Still you need to set the alter level manually. It means you need to set the price level where your strategy meets.

Moreover, this is the reason that trading is too complicated one as it will ask all your time and efforts continuously. When you are unable to put all the required efforts it would be better to turn as a long term investor rather than innovating your own way of trading. Because, investing with bitcoin must be a proven way to make easy money rather than struggling with trading indicators and other tools.
1635  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Advanced Dice Game 🎲 Sportsbook 🏟️ Slots 🎰 on: January 01, 2022, 08:50:43 PM
Sure we can understand it. Less active can be from other tasks or personal priorities. I don't have worry because the casino does still operates very well. No issues with operations, no issues with withdrawal process. Why do we should worry about a little less active on the forum?
Most gamblers who visit this forum on a regular basis usually feel that a crypto gambling site becomes less relevant if they don't share important updates, contests, tips etc which makes sense if you think about it.

This forum matters more than other social media platforms when it comes to these crypto gambling sites which is why I suggested being a bit more active here.
I mean are we wrong? You could be as online and active as possible when you are talking about twitter or instagram or anywhere else and none of that would matter if there are not specific crypto gambling followers there. Whereas if you are talking about something a bit more serious, like a situation where you would be getting 10k people with just 500 crypto gamblers on twitter or just 1k people all crypto gamblers here, which one would you prefer? Bigger number could attract these casinos to be more active there, but it is evident that you would be getting a lot more people who are serious about it if you advertise on bitcointalk.

Plus, we have a lot of whales here as well, people who have been here for a very long time and that ends up being very obvious and important because whales could spend so much money on these casinos too.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about lottery? on: January 01, 2022, 07:23:10 PM
Only the luckiest will make the win, and today got to read about a lucky winner on the UAE lottery. It is the first time in his lifetime buying a lottery, and he had won about $3 million.
A first time buyer wins $3 million? Must be damn luck on earth. I have tried buying lotteries locally and online but never turned lucky enough even to win a least prize. I have read about beginner's luck in gambling and this must be one of the big such case; really ridiculous on hearing.

What's your opinion on lottery, whether it is an addicted gambling practice or it is quite Ok to buy lottery regularly. There are people who allocate separate fund from their earnings for lottery.
I stopped wasting my money on lottery and even with freebitco.in, I have opted to get reward-points instead of lottery tickets as my luck never favored me in more than 3 years of time and I may roll regularly there for at least 5 to 10 times a day. Honestly it is not okay to spend money on lottery regularly. Lottery is also a highly additive kind of gambling hence not trying will help anyone.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 01, 2022, 04:28:48 PM
New Zealand have lost 5 wickets scoring 285 runs by the end of day 1. With 5 wickets left it can manage to score 400 runs. However the last order will be of bowlers which restricts the score within 360 runs.
Devon Conway's returning century helped New Zealand to start the new year stronger, they really missed him while their recent tour to India. From here, I guess even 450 to 500 runs also possible as Mount Maunganui is known for its batting friendly nature.

I would say Bangladesh will not be able to collect more than 250 in the first innings against bowling lineup like New Zealand.
Against quality swinging pace attacks against Tim Southee and Trent Boult, I guess it would be too hard for any team in New Zealand soil. If Bangladesh continues same form like how they struggled against Pakistan then New Zealand may win by an innings. I am just expecting one-sided match here as I am not expecting Bangladesh to show any fight out side their home.

The Betfury Sports Betting services are temporarily unavailable nearly every time I wants to place a bet in the sports section. The experience is extremely stressful. Due to the fact that my only money is with BetFury, I have to stick with BetFury even if it doesn't work. Could responsible team member tell me how long I have to wait before I can make a bet?
Due to being holidays and all, sometimes things get a little bit weird. I have been reading this crypto news place to learn more about crypto world and be more well versed in the crypto information every single day. They haven't written anything in 3 days, well 2 full days but not today as well so I consider it today as well. All in all I am guessing that the problem is a bit about holidays.

It is famous for most of the western world end up not working that hard between 24th-25th to 2nd of January, that's a break that they have in order to celebrate Christmas and new years together. So it is understandable that betfury is the same way right now and things are looking a little wonky right now. I am sure in a week everything will be back to being perfect and they will certainly be doing a lot better. Just give them a few more days to come back to full power.
1639  Economy / Economics / Re: NFT and art theft on: December 31, 2021, 07:28:17 PM
NFTs were said to help support the artists, but here we see how they did the opposite and forced an artist to close their gallery and reducing their chances of selling their art or getting commissions. The artists who are profiting from NFTs the most are the big names like Grimes who are already rich.
This has been a type of situation where people keep talking about for a while now. I am not saying that it is not happening, but when there are so many wrong things going on with the crypto NFT world, this could be the least of the worries. Let's be honest, if an NFT doesn't have a purpose, it is usually manipulated and as long as that stands true, we are going to have useless NFT's going for insane amount of money.

Even artists are on it right now, whales find artists who are not know too much but have good work, pay them a fee, then artist creates NFT out of his art, then whale buys a few for millions of dollars, artist give it back, then suddenly artist is one that sold his stuff for millions of dollars. All those people stuff are very wrong and fake, people should not invest accordingly. I get the Axie stuff because you use it, but others are just useless. So, stolen or not, they are all worthless unless I can use it somewhere.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 30, 2021, 09:58:10 PM
There are still around 14 games to go and anything can happen 8-9 points difference that means it takes about 3 wins and hoping Man city loses
What makes this all possible is that in the EPL there are many strong teams so they can beat Manchester city. yes, this is just an estimate.
Next game Man city will play away against Arsenal here anything can happen as well as in other matches.
There are like 18 games left for most teams, some even have less than that Burnely literally played only 15 games so far, that's less than half. There are enough games left for "technically" speaking City to relegate. I know that doesn't make sense for most people and I can guarantee 100% that it will not happen, we all know it won't happen, I am just talking about mathematically how many games are left.

This is why I have to say that there is nothing guaranteed so far, teams will have to be better, like Liverpool getting a loss is not acceptable for them when they are chasing City, something that was nearly 1-2 points became 3 then became 6 now (well 9 but one game in hand so who knows?). This is why I do not think that there is anything that could be done to change that at this moment, but in the future there are enough games left to see Liverpool doing better.
