There's an African proverb that says " he who ask for directions and guidance does not miss his eay. And it's also  popularly said, never take advise from someone that has not experienced failure, as they won't know a better advise to offer. Failures, criticisms are foundations to improvements and building a better feat.
A wise person should always accept criticisms especially constructive criticism and remarks, so as a newbie am open to learning as long as it improves me in all ramifications here in the forum.

people keep hoping that things will some day gradually start to get better and we will all go back to days when things were less expensive and moderate.   Am not of that school of thought that puts hopes in such ideology that things will eventually get back even close to how it were in times past looking at how the society is degenerating by the day.

Shouldn't this be the right thing to do, why must the price never comes down if it can rise up, inflation has been on a one sided mode which has been one of the reasons why the entire economy is being affected negatively, literally price should come down whene it rises up, this could make a balance to the market supply and demand than been favourable to one side.

Ordinarily that's what ought to be that case where price rises  and then falls back within some duration but in the society today the movers and controllers of the economy are greatly benefitting from this infallible rising of prices of things and enjoyably they don't want it to drop low again so they do everything possible to cause more reasons why things should just remain the way it is currently. All of this mostly affects the common man

In every part of the world things are going worst by the day in terms of prices of commodities and services. Whereas people keep hoping that things will some day gradually start to get better and we will all go back to days when things were less expensive and moderate.   Am not of that school of thought that puts hopes in such ideology that things will eventually get back even close to how it were in times past looking at how the society is degenerating by the day.

Best I believe on is to work out different ways of income's through different means or streams which is the only way to meet up with the concurrent rise in prices of commodities and services stead of waging hope on the mirage of better days ahead. As you makes some profits from Bitcoin trades you make, also endeavor to extend hands into other forms of business in addition to your regular pay job as it's the most rational thing to do.

I don't know if am being realistic here or pessimistic about issues.
What's your thoughts?
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 08, 2023, 08:46:14 PM
And Chelsea falls under Manchester City sword again in consecutive matches, Chelsea would now rethink their decision to sack Tuchel and employ their new head coach.

I believe Chelsea has had better games when they played under Tuchel than they are playing under this present coach, they lack game plan and the players were not able to connect with each other.

I really love what is happening to Chelsea right now because it was obvious that the owner and the board took a bad decision by sacking Thomas Tuchel without giving him much of time, and I did know that they're definitely gonna regret sacking Tuchel one day.
And now not long ago after the sack they are beginning to feel the heat and it won't end there , The current coach Potter is definitely on hot seat at this point in time and we could equally hear the sack news anytime soon.
What's happened with Chelsea is that it sucks where they want Graham Potter to be able to handle more than Thomas Tuchel but in fact it's worse and Graham Potter doesn't seem to have the potential to get Chelsea back on a better path as they have been losing a lot now and lost 4- 0 is an embarrassment to Graham Potter and coach.
This will be a hot rumor for Potter he will put more pressure on him because he doesn't bring Chelsea to the better maybe the management board will insist on what happens next whether to sack or keep him because this is the first season he has started at Chelsea while the contract is still long enough.
Losing 1-0 in the Premier League, and now they have to lose 4-0, not getting better but their situation getting worse when facing the same team. In a hurry, maybe that's the right word to describe how Chelsea's management made the decision to sack Thomas Tuchel. Graham Potter who was appointed as the next coach was even worse than the previous coach. Will they now do the same by firing Graham Potter again? The decisions to be taken are even tougher now for Chelsea's management to make their team even better.
The mistake started from the management not giving Tuchel a chance to put things together, imagine a coach that gave the club one of the prestigious trophy in Europe football and was just sacked out of three loss in a game. Now Graham a replacement is even repeating the same , the management now can't sack graham due to how long his contract still is, and it's a pity if CFC keep playing this way under potter then conference league is where I see CFC heading to.

If you know that you are trading and losing your money, it is better to think about this twice or three time or more before making the wrong decision that you will later blame yourself for. We are in accumulation period, try and hold and accumulate.

There's no need to continue in this current bitcoin price when all you do is keep losing money in the trades, If the trading especially for those using  scalping technique is ain't working out well for you it's rather potent to use such money for this accumulation period as all it takes is just patient believing that the bull period will eventually kick off...
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 05, 2023, 10:10:40 PM
For anyone to be a good gambler your locus of self control should be the first thing you should pay attention to. No matter the juicy bonuses, tricks  or strategy that would be applied by any betting site or casino to lure you into spending more on bets with your self discipline and control you wouldn't fall into it. Self discipline gambler would always apply moderation, knowing the best time to quit for the day cause there's always another day to gamble again.
1627  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Cloud mining for bitcoin on: December 30, 2022, 08:46:06 PM
Greetings! I'm on a quest to find some bitcoin mining sites/apps that have a considerably lower threshold for minimum withdrawal My plan is to reach whatever the would-be minimum payout thresholds, add it all up and then sell the BTC. I'm looking to setup as many as I can to get ideally 0.33 BTC as quick as possible; then sell the BTC. The money I received then will go towards groceries and anything else beyond. Such as investing in the best paid online traffic methods in efforts to make money online via online content creation. I've recently been spending some time devising strategies and formulating plans to make money working smart rather than hard.
Or perhaps another cryptocurrency can help me with this, one way or another. Thanks for the replies, greatly appreciated 🙏
At first when I saw the subject topic of your thread I shrouded shoulders knowing full when that nothing profitable comes from cloud mining except losses as a victim to scam activities with huge sugar-coated promises on ROI.
If your looking for a way to make money through cryptocurrency in meeting  your demands then cloud apps ain't the right path to embark on, it's a road that leads to  nowhere good. If you can put up together resources for equipments needed for conventional mining then it's better than looking into cloud mining.
1628  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I am a bit confused about this... on: December 27, 2022, 06:33:37 AM
You can use bitcoin or bitcoin segwit, both are bitcoin addresses. The bitcoin is a legacy address, starting from 1, while bitcoin segwit is a native segwit version 0 address that start from bc1.

Know that any other address on Binance are not bitcoin addresses, they are altcoins.

Bonus:
Use native segwit (bc1 addresses), for low transaction fee.
I appreciate all of your quick response to bringing solution to my plight... I have been able to do as said and it went well successfully.
1629  Economy / Exchanges / I am a bit confused about this... on: December 26, 2022, 08:30:46 PM
I am a bit confused as I haven't don't this particular process before as it's my first time.
I have some bitcoin in my electrum wallet which I want to transfer into my binance account  but the issue is that I am confused on which of the network is the right one to use in making the transfer deposit into my binance.
let me illustrate: after clicking on deposit i selected BTC and many networks pop up, now what am confused about is which one is the correct network to use between "Bitcoin", and "BTC (segwit).
Since the two one bears bitcoin in the full spelling of it while the other is the acronym of it with a (segwit) attached.

Pls help I don't want to make expensive mistake and loss my assets.

The match between Arsenal and West Ham united will start in an hour and the line up has been confirmed. It looks like Arsenal have found a replacement for Gabriel Jesus after being injured a month ago and that position will be filled by Nketiah. Although not as good as Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah is good enough to be a striker. With Arsenal's 4-2-3-1 formation going to attack from the start and West Ham United also using the same formation, of course this will be a fierce match for both teams.
The absence of Gabriel Jesus won't deny arsenal a clear win tonight, though the hammer boys would try to halt that from happening but it will only be an attempt in futility. Am looking at this game to end in 3:2 favour of Arsenal.
1631  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Digital Bitcoin Giftcards on: December 24, 2022, 07:05:19 PM
Hi, Bitcoiners I am working a new way to gift bitcoin to no-coiners. I have come up with a landing page so far: https://www.giftbitcoin.app/

Problem:
The current ways to gift bitcoin are not great. They either require kyc or the gift recipient to download a wallet.

Solution:
I am prototyping a web app that lets a gifter load btc into a local-browser based wallet and send the gift recipient a digital giftcard that lets them then redeem the bitcoin. They would then be able to setup a wallet (if they wish) , buy an amazon giftcard, swap for another crypto etc. It would be a browser based wallet so I will be able to walk the user through whatever they choose to do with the btc with the gui.

What's the need of going through this whole process of yours and still setting up a wallet after the whole procedures.
Why not the individual download a convenient web wallet for use instead of later wishing to do so after receiving your crypto gift.
1632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: immune Boosters in the Forum on: December 24, 2022, 05:22:57 PM
Different folks with different interest, you may be correct that some are in the forum for merits, signatory participation and investment but it's most likely that there are many others in bitcointalk that have no interest in any of the aforementioned above by you. They could be satisfied with the ideas they benefits from the forum, the questions and answers/solutions they get to cryptocurrency issues bothering them and some other interests not mentioned could just be well enough to boost their interest. For those that knows better, bitcointalk has numerous benefits to render not limited to those you mentioned mate.
All still boils down to interest!

Serving for a crime you have no hand in is something demoralizing, and humanly speaking it's not easy to let go. Out of duress some persons have had to confess to a crime they never committed and it's hard to forgive after going through such condition. But for your own sake you must have to move on as it wasn't your fault to have being a victim of such circumstance. Turn on a new leave for yourself by discarding every pain the memory of the allegation brings, and telling yourself daily that you deserve to be happy no matter what.

I can imagine that feeling when your boss end up agreeing to your initiative, please don't fail to bring to the notice of your boss that crypto has its own ugly side too, just to balance the scale so you don't end up getting blamed for any mistakes done in the future.
