good job , now waiting for price 1 MAR 100K  Grin

100K is cheap and would put $MAR at ~500 BTC marketcap or around #130 on Coinmarketcap.  Potcoin's marketcap is 3000 BTC.  No reason why $MAR couldn't reach at least 2000 BTC marketcap (around #67 on Coinmarketcap) when more services are launched.

IMO you'll see the biggest bump when a wallet update comes.  Something about code improvements drives traders crazy.

That would be amazing.

Wow, almost 160 BTC received already, and only in round 1. Maybe even more will be invested in round 2. Makes it seem a bit overbought imo, compared to the 80 BTC total for the whole crowdfund of Vidz.

160btc is nowhere near over brought lol round two has to match round one or its a firesale for big investors.

Compare 160 to 80 and you say over brought. What about 160 to 1000's and some say underbrought as was vidz?

Yeah but the difference is that I'm only counting the BTC investments, and even if you add up round 1 + round 2 and say it would amount to about 300 BTC, that's still only for half the coin supply!

Neil has 20 years experience developing software and has four years experience in the blockchain space. Neil has Master’s degree in Business Administration from ISCAE, but later specialized in computer science. Neil was also a professional poker player and speaks four languages.

Let me guess: He played while holding the cards with his feet.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Anybody wanna see Neil's stats from the poker realm when he was a professional poker player? I know that you're dyin' to learn what a professional poker player like Neil makes. I know I was, hence taking almost three minutes of my time to hunt it down. It's probably a lot of money to some, so don't be surprise if myriad users leave this forum to pursue the sport, leaving behind their lucrative Twitter and Facebook campaigns for others coming up through the ranks.

Here are Neil's stats: http://www.playerscope.com/elpaon/pokerstars/any/2010

BTW, so you know, just like with Mr. Dai using Steven and Patrick (and already proven that he used both at the same time during separate ventures) because we Americans would be more comfortable with said names, Mr. Neil Mahi also opted to forego using his full name, perhaps for the exact same reason: Mohamed Neil Mahi. Personally, I didn't think he looked like a Neil:

...

Thanks for sharing that David and sorry you had to go through that. I definitely will not be investing in Qtum anymore.

Also, it's weird enough that people from Asia think that Western names are easier for people to communicate with, it's about as disingenuous as you can get, but next to that, why would you have a reason to use multiple different Western names? That makes it even more fishy imo.
1630  Other / Meta / Account madjules007 locked after answering secret question since 06/17/16 on: February 24, 2017, 07:37:43 PM
Hi,

I was stupid enough to use the "Ask me my question" option last year after wanting to reset my password. I did not know that this would cause an account lock.

I have sent a signed message from a BTC address that I have in my profile (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=175298).

And this was the signed message:

-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
This is madjules007 from bitcointalk.org. My account has been locked because of answering my security question for a password reset. Can you please unlock my account? The date today is 06/17/16

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I have also staked this BTC address in the following uneditted post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.msg15073046;topicseen#msg15073046

I have sent this as a PM to Theymos, Cyrus and to BadBear, all in June last year.

When I now try to reset my password I get the following message:

"Sorry, this account has not yet been approved. If you need to change your email address please click here."

When I click "here", I get this message:

"An Error Has Occurred!
You are not allowed to access this section"

I think it used to give a different error message. This leads me to believe that someone has unlocked my account but it still needs to be approved.

Is there anyone that can help me with this? If need be I could sign another message. I just really would like my account back.

Thank you.

Regards,
Jules

Happy birthday BlackCoin! What an exciting time it was when BlackCoin launched and gained heaps of attention and value within a very short period of time.

I wonder if something similar in store for us this year?  Cool

And still not one comment from Qtum on all this.

Already asked about the 51% distribution 2 weeks ago and they said they would comment on it within 24 hours. Since then I've asked 2 more times but still no reply.

Only 51% of tokens get distributed in the crowdsale?

I get that 20% is reserved for early backers and foundation initiators, but why is there an additional 20% reserved for business development and another 9% reserved for academic research, education and market expansion? Shouldn't those funds be allocated from the proceeds of the crowdsale? For example 80% crowdsale and 20% for early backers?

Just going to quote myself (above), since this gets burried so quickly with all the Qtum paid promoters.

This question can't be answered with a few sentences and then shelved, let me respond to this properly within 24 hours, these are the types of discussions that matter right now.

LMFAO, how can people still even be doubting if this is a scam? Just do your due dilligence and read through the topic and it should paint a pretty clear picture. Several shill newbie accounts hyping this up for page after page.

When I read this post I actually LOL-ed IRL!

This isn't the first time I've been through a revival boys. I've dealt with idiot trolls like this when Vericoin dev 'left' for a week, when Supercoin dev 'scammed', before Blackcoin multipool release

I have been in this game for years and have seen several situations like this one.

If you've been around for so long, why are you using a noobie account?
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BLK/BC) | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: February 20, 2017, 02:29:11 AM

Blackhalo has the "cash for coins" template. This is perfect for the Chinese! The initial inspiration for double deposit was to help the Chinese get money in and out of Bitcoin without any risk and no arbiters and no fees.
This is perfect solution for this situation in China, but why this is not priority of PR team? This is good opportunity for BLACKCOIN now use it wisely. Look how Monero stayed calmed. Because they know what they have and they will rise for sure.
I remember having some blackcoins in a wallet when I first started out  staking coins to give it a try.
Lost the waller and didn't try to get anymore.
Good to see there still is interest in it almost two years later.
I might try to collect these again and see where they take me.
Any exchanges taking it yet?

Don't mind the previous poster. You can find BlackCoin on the following exchanges:

Two weeks and:

No crowdsale site
No crowdsale plan
No min/max objetives
No countdown

And still no answer to this:

1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: February 15, 2017, 02:25:15 PM
Does this actually do something different from ETH/ETC/EXP besides some difficulty changing algo that was mainly implemented to protect it from being attacked in the early going?

Unless UBIQ does something better than ETH/ETC/EXP does this may as well be a pump and dump coin

I know somebody is going to say it is in the OP thread but this is me saying right now that I do not get it. I just see some explanation that it is more secure as needed to survive the early network attacks. Once the hash rate is established is UBIQ any more secure than ETH, and is ETH even vulnerable to an attack anyway with their established hash rates?

On the perspective UBIQ functioning as a cryptocurrency and smart contract platform, I am not seeing where this has special utility besides a well established dev and a more unique name that doesn't seem too similar to ETH

^"walled garden" style communication is not my style nor will fly to try to censor the dialog!! Anyone still holding this POS should have some BTC to DOUBLE DOWN @ 1000-700 WHERE JBS STARTED!!! :-D WEEEEE

Why so negative all of a sudden Gembitz, you seemed like the #1 shill for UBQ?  Huh

Good update but is there an explanation about the distribution? I just know 51Million of the tokens are go into the crowdsale, By what about the other tokens? i can't find anything was having a relationship with it (information)

I sort of asked the same question last Friday the 10th, they answered the following (but haven't got back yet, after 24 hours):

Only 51% of tokens get distributed in the crowdsale?

I get that 20% is reserved for early backers and foundation initiators, but why is there an additional 20% reserved for business development and another 9% reserved for academic research, education and market expansion?
