If the killer managed to make huge profits, then Bitcoin would still be very much alive after he thinks he's killed Bitcoin. The killer would need to buy up a vast amount of Bitcoins prior to any attack in order to make any waves with his attack. (you can't double spend 0 Bitcoin) If someone were in possession of a great number of Bitcoins, why would he try to devalue it by attempting to kill it? Actually avg ppl are deceived completely that hedge fund managers are some financial investment wizards..... They're not. Most of them have inside information on what sectors to invested in. I would never count the bitcoins worth today, if you have 4.4BTC trapped inside Gox right now they are technically worth the price they were before Gox halted trading the first time, which was about $1000 USD per coin. If people who had hundreds in cold storage at Gox sued Gox they would claim their worth at the higher price and not what the market says they are worth today. No thats not how justice works idiot. |
