We should set a deadline and have a backup plan in case the AM shares are never transferred.

The obvious one seems to be a penultimate payout for everything but AM, and a possible final payout pending Friendcat getting around to fulfilling his obligations.

I fear we may have to consider this option.
I want to get this done and over with, as I'm sure you all are. I want to payout everything in one final payment. Mostly because I want to close out MiningCo. Also because a second small payment would just end up as dust to many shareholders.

If we want to put a time limit-we can-but we also need to decide if we want to just chalk up AM as a loss at that time.
Even if we decide to have a second payout if AM ever gets transferred, we will need to set a date on that too.

I'm open to ideas and possible dates.

What if I send another 0.75 BTC now and we call it even so you can close the fund, leaving me the risk that the shares will be transferred and friedcat will distribute BTC again someday?

We all know most of the circle of people ....

Indeed.  Maybe we should have our own sub-forum for Physical Bitcoin Enthusiasts.

I agree.  I spend all my time in the Goods and Auctions forum looking just at those topics.

I sent a PM to malevolent, but it would probably take someone motivated enough to post in the meta section to make it happen.

I sent the Signed transfer for AM shares to firedcat back on Dec 8.
I haven't heard anything about AM since then.

I asked Friendcat to transfer my direct shares to a new (non-WeExchange) address many months ago.  Not a peep, nor a dividend.  I've written them off.   Undecided

I fear he may have 'gone Hollywood' with his new-found wealth/fame and is too busy for the people who risked their BTC to make AM a success.

We should set a deadline and have a backup plan in case the AM shares are never transferred.

The obvious one seems to be a penultimate payout for everything but AM, and a possible final payout pending Friendcat getting around to fulfilling his obligations.

I have sent a payment for the NastyFans seats to the 1mining address.  We are only waiting on AM now.

Any updates on new FW?

any changes or just bug fixes? I'm running good so hesitant to upgrade.

Seems to be running normal.  I haven't had to restart them yet, but it hasn't been very long either.

Someone should alert the scammer that folks have already paid.

Thanks for giving everyone the heads up. Filthy scammers. Always look for the high activity and trust ratings when communicating with me.

I always wanted to post this gif.

I just upgraded to the new firmware.  It was a pretty simple process of downloading the file from the Bitmain website and then upgrading using the miner interface.  It's only been running for a few minutes, but so far so good.
16311  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: January 09, 2015, 09:58:01 AM
Turned it on, configured it and it works

It looks like it's running a bit hot.  Does the interface have a way to easily underclock the miner?  What rate and efficiency does it get with the maximum underclock?

Clicking the reboot option always fixes it for me. I haven't had to power cycle and my temps are sitting in the mid-low 60s. I'm going to have to try the new firmware.

Just putting it out there, I know they're highly sought after, but I would also like at least one of each for testing I'm doing.

Thanks!

What price are you paying?

Hmm, I wonder if the 660W is due to the 110V or a lower quality PSU?
Here in Aus (240V), my S5 is doing a little over 1.1THs on my pool ( https://www.kano.is/ ) but at the wall it's only 600W
(default settings) but I'm using a Seasonic 1200W Platinum

Its got to be the PSU as I am running  mine at Freq 375 getting  1.23+GH and reading 635W at the wall with a RM1000 Corsair 115V.

Also the packing material changed on my batch 2 from foam packing to bubble wrap.

After 28 hours one board dropped and started showing x's, after a reboot that didn't help I  reset the freq back to default of 350 and its seems to be doing fine now. Getting 1155GH with temps at 48/47 fan 3480 and reading 592 watts at the wall. Not sure why that board dropped off at the 375 setting as the temps seemed fine at 50/49?

I've noticed similar behavior in my units (except they fall to 50% hashrate after about 2 days).  I suggested that Bitmain add an auto-restart if hashrate falls below x setting to the firmware, but I'm sure we'll see lots of stability improvements with the next firmware update.

Thanks.

This is the PSU I buy for most of my miners.  I haven't had any issues and would recommend.

I'll switch it out for another PSU and retest later today.

RETEST:
I went ahead and hooked it up to a EVGA SuperNOVA 1300G2 80Plus Gold Power Supply.  I also downclocked it with the 325M frequency.  The results were...

1.05TH/s at 563 watts or 0.53W/GH
