I checked and imported merit data from your club, then found that it has not yet updated. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Correct ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I'm still working on restoring all data. Update: See these temporary file locations: http://aws.loyce.club/Merit/tranthidung/?C=M;O=D http://aws.loyce.club/Merit/merit.all.txt This will work until I change DNS-records. After that, the normal file locations should be available again. Please don't post links to those temporary URLs, leave out the "aws." if you create a link so it will work again later.

I only do what the forum administrators say If they say "finish the campaign," I will. Scams aren't moderated. Admin will only remove the YoBit campaign if they're spamming. What are you saying "chipmixer-foxpop merit" here the most powerful group Interesting. I don't see myself as powerful here, and I sure as hell try not to abuse the "power" I have. If you think any of the feedbacks I left are unjust, please post in LoyceV's reputation thread. Mods have power. Admin has power. I'm just a regular guy, and I like to believe I earned a lot of Merit and Trust inclusions only because people value what I'm doing here. And I share data for anyone who's interested, because I believe in openness. doesn't others have a right to say something? I believe in freedom of speech.

The VPS I use with 6 cores costs 35 euros/month. Renting is probably very inefficient: you can buy a GPU that gives you 10 times more performance for 200 euro: my GTX 1060 3 GB searches through ~40Mkey/sec. Of course, a GPU will cost more - but how many times more? The cheapest GPU (35 cents/h) here ( https://gpurental.com/) costs $250/month. The most expensive ($1.35/hour) costs $920/month. However, I don't have the experience to know what the specifications of the GPU actually mean. I can't find performance numbers for oclvanitygen on the GPUs in these servers, but I kinda expect it to be cheaper per Mkey/s than CPU-searches. Note: You should probably still use split-key generation so you don't have to trust the VPS with your private keys.

Week three klarki gains 20 distrusts, up from zero. That's the result of this topic: the ones who distrusted klarki in this week also distrusted many others. Check the Trust feedback they received around that time. You can't blame klarki for this.

Due to illness I'm afraid I may or may not be on time with this week's payment. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) What's with being ill in the holidays? My kids are fine all year going to (pre)school, and the moment they're at home, they're overflowing on all sides ![](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/afro.gif) What I mean to say is of course: get well! And don't worry about not being on time, once you're better, your time machine will put you back on schedule in no time ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I have to say I am disappointed that others are not being vocal about this. It has been discussed before, and there was more or less consensus that a decent manager is better than no manager at all, although theymos banning the campaign would be better. But since the signature campaign was for a forum and not directly for YoBit, they kinda got away with it. I'd say that all changes if they change the signature from "promote this forum" to "promote this ponzi". You may have miss-interpreted my post: it was not a justification for yahoo62278 continuing to manage the campaign once it shifts to a ponzi scam, it was a direct response to the post I quoted. Rosezionjohn claimed most signature participants will leave if yahoo62278 leaves, and I think he's right. But the spammers who couldn't abuse the campaign because of yahoo62278 will have a feeding frenzy when that happens.

Hello. I can't use your service. After clicking on the link gives 404 error. Is this a temporary problem? Yes. I'm still working on restoring my data on another server. I have a temporary fix for this temporary problem: add aws. in front of loyce.club: http://aws.loyce.club/archive/posts/ I don't make it clickable, because the link will expire the moment I get all my data back online. So feel free to view it, but please don't post links to the temporary location. Once done, archived posts will be available in a matter of seconds (instead of a minute in the old situation).

I give 777 to all directories still nothing Have you tested my suggestion? mkdir /dev/shm/bitcoin; bitcoin-qt -datadir=/dev/shm/bitcoin

That is obviously a new campaign and would be considered a violation of yahoo's contract with cryptotalk (yobit). He may actually stop managing the campaign and most signature participants could also leave because of that. If yahoo62278 stops managing the campaign, it's open for all shitposters again, and spammers with farmed accounts won't care if they're promoting a likely scam. Until theymos bans their signature again.

Thanks a lot for this awesome tool LoyceV ! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That's a creative way to use it, even without any posts!
I noticed there are some "empty posts" at the bottom of the Notification page. I think this is caused by incorrect timestamps after moving servers. I'm hoping this will correct itself in a few days.

second edit - not sure what I'm doing wrong... I've fixed your quote: put the size-tag outside of the glow-tag.

I'd prefer to claim Timelord2o67 before a scammer / imposter does. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) TimeIord2067 is still available, as is TimeIord2o67. With some Activity building, an imposter could really make it look like your alt-account. I've added a neutral tag. Being on DT has it's perks.

Both servers are down. Did your webhost disappear too, or is it just "normal" down time? Check the HP link that Vod posted, it's hilarious... apparently HP didn't anticipate that someone could be using their drives for more than ~ 3 years 9 months and used a signed short int for an uptime counter. And the drive self-destructs when the counter runs out. Well... Lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) That's just a very dumb design flaw. I tried to open the link earlier on mobile, but it didn't work.

I wish someone would do something like this: Popular Topics (Most posts) feature. At certain time intervals, with the ability to select specific sections. You mean like this (currently not updating because of the mystery of my disappearing webhost), but only for the boards you selected so you don't see mainly BOUNTY spam threads? That would be a good addition if I ever start using a database, so you can just select boards and get instant updates. But since I know nothing about databases, that won't be any time soon.

EDIT: LET and LEB are not really the best sources for trustworthy companies. Not to mention if you see any server that is cheap to raise a brow, its not going to last. I noticed ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I expected some down time sometimes and an overloaded server (but since I only serve static HTML that wouldnt' be a problem), I just didn't expect them to unplug their entire operation. So I don't think this warning topic matters much to them anymore either ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Wow, that's annoying. Good you have local backups, but in case someone didn't: would they at least allow to create a backup and download it before vanishing? I don't think so, they've even unplugged their own hosting website now. Btw, I've had very good experience with Vultr, so far. Almost all my crypto related projects are hosted with them. After one CC payment The CC part is where I run away ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Ah bad luck mate that's always horrid being scammed. You do so much round here and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is very very grateful, so it all seems doubly unfair. Wish you the best of luck finding someone reliable and honest. It's really not about the money (which really wasn't much ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ), but the fact that I've been spending my past days fixing stuff is .... annoying ;P I did get several offers though, and I've been postponing moving to a VPS for a while now, so long-term, I'm going to be better off without this webhost. At least they should give users (LoyceV, in this case) an acceptable time to download data. They ignored the probability of losing important data for LoyceV. I haven't lost a single file ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) That's the one benefit of not having a VPS: I had to create all files locally. On a VPS, I could lose data between backups if the shit hits the fan, but this data isn't that critical anyway.

Yes. Merit sources aren't restricted to any board.

I rent a Ubuntu VPS with 6 cores. This is not a dedicated server. Currently I get a speed of about 2.8Mkeys/s. If you continuously use full CPU on a shared server, chances are your account will be removed at some point. Have you read Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] yet? You're going to want to use oclvanitygen, running on a GPU. My old laptop does 9 Mkeys/s on it's GPU, but I've seen claims of hundreds of Mkeys/s on modern GPUs. It's probably going to be difficult to find a VPS with decent GPU. There's also VanitySearch (Yet another address prefix finder), which is said to be faster, but I haven't tested it by myself yet. TL;DR: you're going to want to use a GPU. Or, if you're looking for only one or a few specific address prefixes, you could use split key so someone with a decent GPU can generate it for you. If you do this right, it is completely secure, and hiring a few days GPU-time from someone might be cheaper than running vanitygen on CPU for months.

I hope i didn't mess up a lot while putting wrong ID in link. Is your code prepared for this? Yes, it just gets ignored. However, I'm not sure what happens when you quote someone else's code tags: It may or may not be used, so it's better not to quote codes. As i see in this post wwzoscki indeed is ignoring bitmover. Perhaps he copied wrong ID and didn't know about it.
Case solved? You're right, thanks. Wwzsocki should edit his post to stop ignoring bitmover. if you visit the link above you will see that the person replies/quoting another person but why it's added into my notifications He quotes a post that has your quote. I still do only a "dumb" search, including the full quote depth. And because of my server problems I haven't had the time to improve my notifications. Getting everything back online still has priority.

~snip You're going to need to add your own userID in the link, and replace the "I" for "ignoreuser".
