16301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Blokes Use Breaking Bad Theme to Extort Innocent Aussie Victims on: May 21, 2015, 07:11:51 AM
this isn't something new anymore, there were multiple cases already on the net, some of them targetted police department, for a mere 300 usd, i'm still wondering why they ask such slow amount everytime they succeed with their virus

and anyway who, has not yet done a backup of his informatic material(which should be done in any case not just for this virus) can only blame himself
16302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: May 21, 2015, 07:08:36 AM
there are a lot of ways by which a person can earn bitcoins. according to me the best means by which a person can earn bitcoins is by doing signature campaigns. i m saying it is the best because it is a way by which we can help people , solve their problems and earn an income aside. the othe methods are good too but things get more complicated as it goes on.
His question is Methods of growing not how to earn or what type of job or things that you do to earn a bitcoin.

then a good method could be to acquire(from the initial distribution) POS coins and let them mint for a while, then dump your free coin for btc, you can also dump your initial giveaway from that same pos coin

and it's risk free if you use a Vm for the wallet, because of virus
16303  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Legal? on: May 21, 2015, 07:05:13 AM
Too bad for me I'm color blind. But yeah, the bitcoin legality will be an issue in some other countries sometime soon. Why? Because of its potentials of terrorist using it to fund their agenda.

terrorist will always find a way to use it, they can just move or do their traffic in a neutral territory that does not care about bitcoin, or where bitcoin is totally free to use, there are still more based on that map
16304  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CGMINER HELP! on: May 21, 2015, 07:02:51 AM
you should check the diff in that pool, se if it can be changed, 16 is rejected because it is too low i guess, try 128
16305  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I have 75KW solar power available on: May 21, 2015, 07:00:07 AM
isn't better to you for selling your electricity? not the solar pannels itself, but the electricity that this thing produce

i heard that it is very remunerative, if you sell abroad, to some small company
16306  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Would you donate your brain to mine btc? on: May 21, 2015, 06:58:29 AM
this could be counted as mining with brain

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3dqhixzGVo

it might be fun to try it one time at least

p.s. ops, i didn't see the post above me, sometimes i read only the OP, anyway mine is a video, it's more fun to watch Grin
16307  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can i buy a Bitcoin miner on: May 21, 2015, 06:57:26 AM
I get free electricity for the next year. Any miner recommendations that would pay off before that?

Just curious,
how did you get this rare free electricity?

actually there isn't real free electricty, in most case(or better to say in all cases) the electricity is payed by someone else, i'm sure he is in the same boat...
16308  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to get highest free BTC? on: May 21, 2015, 06:54:33 AM
The highest I have found so far is get-paid.com.  It is not a faucet, you have to complete tasks and offers, but it pays far more than faucets.

hallo there, How many can you get in a every week on the site? if good results and satisfactory I will try

not too much apparently, at least at the start the earning is even worse than faucet, it's one of those site where you need to work hard at first for increase your level, and then you can hope for a better reward
16309  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cellphone minutes for BTC on: May 21, 2015, 06:51:19 AM

16310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help Me Earn A Job :) on: May 21, 2015, 06:49:16 AM
Thats crappy i make atleast 10x more than that /day.

can you advise the way how you make that value

he is talking about signature campaign maybe not in this forum only

i'm still wondering if there are other forum like this that offer signature, one could earn a lot more in that case
16311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: For some altcoin never traded on trading platform, how to sell on: May 21, 2015, 06:46:57 AM
you can sell them here on the forum, privately, but be aware of scammer, don't deal with other newbies, and use an escrow
16312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wedding rings! on: May 21, 2015, 06:20:34 AM
http://nfcring.com/bitcoin/

Could be used as well.

this look vastly better, and i could see it used more then the one in the OP, but maybe reduce the qr code a bit, or it would cover too much the ring
16313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can't get anywhere on: May 21, 2015, 06:18:59 AM
Using bitcoins seems secondary to using PGP. Both PGP desktop and GPG wrecked my machine! I didn't think I could get it back. Where can i find a program that really works? Windows 7. 64 bit. I need step by step easy to follow instructions. Please! Maybe after I could achieve this, I can get some bitcoins,

What do you mean: "Both PGP desktop and GPG wrecked my machine!" ?
And what does it have to do with Bitcoin?

he mean key authentication and data encryption

16314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A cell phone is all you need to get a Bitcoin loan? on: May 21, 2015, 06:14:26 AM
it could be integrated with something like this http://crypt.la/2014/01/06/satoshi-nakamoto-quotes/

here we are talking about a istitution emitting the loan not random guy on the forum, you can't scam them, it would be like scamming a loan emitted by a bank...
16315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "In 5 or 10 years I think every online retailer will accept Bitcoin." -Gavin on: May 21, 2015, 06:07:58 AM
like Satoshi said(not exactly):

in 5 or 10 years either the vast mojority of retailers will accept Bitcoin or none will accept it

the correct sentence was referring to transactions volume, "I’m sure that in 20 years there will either be very large (bitcoin) transaction volume or no volume."

for future reference http://crypt.la/2014/01/06/satoshi-nakamoto-quotes/
16316  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin value more Volatile? on: May 20, 2015, 07:28:11 PM
It is volatile because it is very manipulated and not controlled by any instituion
besides, the market is not really big

Currency is supposed to move based on perceived and actual value. Compared to fiat currencies Bitcoin is the LEAST manipulated. People can play around in the market but almost no one can really manipulate the price. In the fact the main people that have been able to affect the price for a temp time have been the government who dumped artificially not worrying about the price. But this is only temp, no one can actually hold the price up or down for any length of time.

The dollar is 100% manipulated cause the government have the ability to alter the supply.

i would say the thief more than the government, a news about thief, besides the thief's dump(which is already a serious dump) it could lead to a panic sell, that might put a big dent on the market
16317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "In 5 or 10 years I think every online retailer will accept Bitcoin." -Gavin on: May 20, 2015, 07:23:32 PM
so we can assume that we need at least two halving, and that the coming one is not enough, it make sense seeing how the price is still crippled
16318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner starting trading on: May 20, 2015, 07:17:57 PM
When you don't have much BTC to trade with, you might better start with altcoin trading. In that situation you can also become familiar with the actual trading process (and its risks).

Most altcoins are probably more volatile than Bitcoin, so there will be more changes in value. This might return in profit, but also in loss.

Ok and altcoins can be exchanged for bitcoins right? Any tips on where I should begin?

poloniex if you don't bother too much with their new id verification, but you can still put fake name, otherwise crypsy is good big volume, and great security never hacked for now

security is important for a trader since you need to store always an amount for fast trading

there is also bittrex, which has changed its front recently, starting from there and then move to cryptsy would not be a bad move

I apologize I'm confused. So i should join one of those exchanges buy the currency then trade until I make a profit and sell to get more  bitcoins?

as beginner try to avoid altcoins, unless you know that investing in altcoins is the same as gambling. there are way too many pump & dump coins.

Lol one says use altcoins one says don't use alt coins. I made a btc-e account and transfers my measly bitcoins I wanted to transfer some funds but coinbase takes 6 days any way to add funds faster?

try with cryptsy they should be faster, even if they are considered slow, they are dealing with usd since years already

avoid altcoin if don't know how to trade, i would say to avoid trading in general, but if you have experience, they(altcoin) could be good to build your bitcoin portfolio

usually alt gets a "pump rotation", but they are slim pump, nothing to compare with the golden age, i believe many whales left the scene...
16319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IBM Bitcoin Rain on: May 20, 2015, 07:10:11 PM
this is vastly better than casual mining, it could lead to a potentially global acceptance, much faster if done right, not with a insignificant amount as usual...

it's like a fun giveaway, i like it
16320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining in Germany? on: May 20, 2015, 06:41:14 PM
