16361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support Petro? on: March 26, 2018, 10:36:16 AM
To sum it up, I would recommend everyone not to support and invest in this crypto as you might end up supporting the regime suppressing it's own citizens.

It's not a case of might. You will be supporting a vicious dictator who is literally murdering his own people. If you buy this coin, you will have blood on your hands.
16362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dear Cybermiles Team - Why many will never invest in your coin on: March 26, 2018, 10:29:38 AM
I'm sure I am not the only person that has noticed the ridiculous amount of Cybermiles (CMT) spam across the forum over the last week or so. There have been posts in pretty much every board, including Development & Technical Discussion, Mining and Technical Support (i.e. completely inappropriate). I have seen off-topic replies in multiple threads about completely different subjects shilling Cybermiles. The posts are pretty much exclusively from Junior Members with Cybermiles signatures, in broken English, make little to no sense, and are 0% facts and 100% vacuous spam. It is clear that you have set up a bounty program to pay these morons to spam the forum.

Here is just a small sample of some of the utter nonsense that has been spammed:

"Cybermiles is more smarter than etherum"

"You, me and CMT will go to the moon."

"Cybermiles is wonderful project. It will bring the useful for the user by applying the token in 5Miles app."

"soon Cybermiles launch testnet online, this become very beneficial for us"

"I very happy join and support this project ,bacause this cybermiles project have good future.i believe that !"

"I learned that the CMC Blockchain (CryberMiles) release will fix all Bitcoin errors"

I, and anyone else with half a brain, will never invest in this coin. Firstly, not a single one of the posts I came across told me anything useful about Cybermiles. Having read 100+ shitposts about it, all I know is that it is "better than Ethereum" and "going to the moon". Laughable. Secondly, if these people are your community, these illiterate, unknowledgeable, spamming shills are your community, count me out - I'll stick to coins where you can actually have an educated conversation about them, and not ones that prey on idiots to support them and spam their brand.
16363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell house to buy bitcoin if it drops below $ 5000? on: March 26, 2018, 05:27:36 AM
Should I sell house to buy bitcoin

No.

16364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning. Encrypt your wallets and store them offline on: March 26, 2018, 05:26:06 AM
Just be aware that USB drives will decay over time, cheap ones as quickly as within a couple of years. A paper wallet is safer for long-term off-line storage.

Also remember to back up your back ups, and securely store your recovery phrase.
16365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $1,000,000 again on: March 25, 2018, 08:51:18 PM
In the style of ohter posters, I want to reserve myself this thread, which im sure will be eventually epic. I believe we'll see the $1,000,000 mark around 2030ish, and after that we'll go back to 6 figures, in which people will start creating threads like this one. Then after a while, we will go for all time high, and this thread will be very relevant, until then..

RESERVED.

Don't listen to OP. He doesn't know what he is talking about. He is clearly delusional, just trying to increase the value of his own bags. Baseless shilling I tell you!

Bitcoin won't hit $1,000,000 until 2031, everyone knows that.
16366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite privacy coin on: March 25, 2018, 11:33:24 AM
I love Verge and Monero, they're simple and reliable, I can't find a flaw in their system, I highly recommend them

If you can't find any flaws with Verge you haven't been looking hard enough at all. Announcements of announcements over and over without any actual product. A privacy coin that isn't private. Asking the community for $75million donation for an unknown partnership. It's a complete scam through and through.
16367  Other / Meta / Re: DT1 users abusing their power to increase their own trust on: March 25, 2018, 05:14:21 AM
Would it be possible for theymos to implement a system where DT2 members do not boost the ratings of DT1 members, unless the DT2 member has been added by 2 or more DT1s? Would pretty much solve this entire issue immediately.
16368  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red trust ON/OFF !!! on: March 24, 2018, 08:40:00 PM

it was pproximately $ 10 at that time.

And a stamp bag of heroin is approximately $10. Your point?
16369  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red trust ON/OFF !!! on: March 24, 2018, 08:00:22 PM
without intending to buy an account

0.025BTC for senior account
16370  Other / Meta / Re: DT1 users abusing their power to increase their own trust on: March 23, 2018, 08:46:13 PM
I think it's possible to trust someone's judgement even if they haven't left a lot of (or any) feedback ratings yet. The OP's approach is just way too blunt.

I might trust my doctor to have good judgement on what medication I need but I wouldn't trust his or her judgement to leave feedback to someone on this forum.  Smiley

What if the feedback is about Lauda's pill addiction?

Ok, I'll get my coat.

What about a pharmacist?

Hold the door suchmoon, I'm just coming.
16371  Economy / Reputation / Re: The witch LAUDA gave me Pleurodelinaemia!! on: March 23, 2018, 08:40:56 PM
You forgot:  Lauda is a tax evading sockpuppeting pill addict who turned you into a newt.  Even if you got better, you should not let the crime go unpunished!

Yes, a most horrendous case of Pleurodelinaemia, and one that required my years of knowledge to treat. Casting such a spell is clearly treason, and therefore I would argue for capital punishment.

Dr. o_e_l_e_o, a web search review of the literature makes it apparent that you have advanced the medical state of the art with your characterization and efficacious treatment of Pleurodelinaemia, as well as adding that word to the medical lexicon.  Now, I need your help!

Ahh yes. I had rather hoped to name my newly coined disease eponymously, but it is somewhat difficult to be both eponymous and anonymous. Shame.

Regardless, do look out for my full paper on Pleurodelinaemia being published in next month's copies of both The Lancelot and The Olde England Journal of Medicine. It will attributed to my pseudonym Dr Cerimon. It should be right between the articles entitled "Your Mother Was A Hamster: The Evidence for Animal-Human Hybrids in the Treatment of Inheritable Diseases" and "The Man Who Says 'Ni!': A Peculiar Case of Tourette's Syndrome".

However, as you are such a valued member of the forum, I will bestow upon you early access to my cure. Beware, it is neither quick nor easy, and is not without risk!

Quote from: Dr Cerimon
With apt hands, and constantly thinking black thoughts, it was ensured that the time was agreeable and no one else was watching. A random selection was made from a mixture of rank weeds and plants that had previously been collected at midnight. This selection was cursed a total of three (3) times, before being poured in to the patient's ears. Within 24 hours, the patient was noted to have "got better", with no evidence of the disease remaining.
16372  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust Spammer and Abuser " The Pharmist" Back on business on: March 23, 2018, 07:58:36 PM
If anyone was in any doubt about whether The Pharmacist should be part of DT, the number of butthurt scammers and account sellers who have made threads to complain about him in the last 24 hours should be all the proof you need.
16373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your 24 word phrase? on: March 23, 2018, 02:32:01 PM
Some of the advice in this thread is truly awful.

Never take a picture of your seed and store it unencrypted on any digital storage. You are just asking to lose your coins with the simplest of hacks or thefts.
Never rely on your memory to memorise all or part of your seed. The human brain is far too fragile a thing.
Never save your seed in an email address. You are reducing the security of your phrase to a simple, brute-forcable password.
16374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: El Petro, Trump, Putin and OIL on: March 23, 2018, 06:57:07 AM
Do you think there is a future for El Petro and will this coin help Venezuela?

No and no.

Petro is a total scam. It is claimed to be backed by oil, but Venezuela's infrastructure, economy and oil sector are practically non-existent.

Maduro is a murderous dictator. Any profit made from Petro will be funnelled to his brutal regime, and will not benefit the Venezuelan people whatsoever.

If you buy this coin, you have the blood of innocents on your hands.
16375  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos has been fooled! on: March 23, 2018, 06:27:22 AM
This is the only rational explanation as to why they would add a criminal extortionist
Extortion is a criminal offense. There are no exceptions, not even in police. But, I would rather call this stupidity. Everyone can make mistake.
Being stupid in breaking the law is still breaking the law. If I were to accept that someone was being "stupid" when breaking the law, I would first need to see regret to their actions, and accepting what they did was wrong (ideally very shortly after getting 'caught' - otherwise these become not credible), to my knowledge, lauda has done neither of these, and lauda continues to say what he did was not extortion (eg, he refuses to acknowledge what he did was wrong). The locking of the relevant threads and the leaving of negative trust against shorena (and other attempts to discredit shorena) is in my eyes an attempt to cover up his criminal activity.

If you ask my opinion, lauda does not think what he did was a "stupid mistake", I think that lauda thinks he made a "stupid mistake" in getting caught/exposed.

Your ability to derail any thread in to a discussion about Lauda would be somewhat impressive if it weren't so predictable and tedious. Given the frequency of your foaming-at-the-mouth rants, were this real life I would be suggesting you get tested for rabies.
16376  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos has been fooled! on: March 22, 2018, 09:38:50 PM
if we all played the merit system it would take 20 years to get to legendary when people like you got it so easy before. barely anyone even hands out merits for anything, might as well get rid of all ranks.  but i'm sure you feel good about bringing others down, make you feel big and important.  shame

The amount of merit required to rank up is roughly the same as the amount of activity required. As the maximum activity that can be earned is 14 every 2 weeks, earning merit at a rate of 1/day is sufficient to allow you to rank up at maximum speed.

The merit system has been out for 57 days. Taking this thread as an example, excluding you there are 16 unique posters, and 8 of them have earned greater than 57 merit. That's 50%.

Ergo, it's really not that difficult if you post meritorious material.
16377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 22, 2018, 09:22:26 PM
I sent bitcoin to another wallet and sent with a real low fee and has zero confirmations, any ideas to cancel or just wait till its confirmed?

3BCYfDtwWy16euHkG2WMdaz8RQ4YUbrj3z

The only transaction in to that wallet already has 2 3 confirmations. Just wait another hour or so and it will come through.
16378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee + Last Opportunity to invest in Cryptocurrency in 2018 on: March 22, 2018, 01:37:12 PM
Probably about time we all stopped listening to this pump-and-dump advertising, scam promoting criminal.
16379  Other / Meta / Re: visualise trustlists on: March 22, 2018, 11:35:54 AM
This would also be very useful for user "Annon001" to use in his thread regarding the Default Trust network.

Thanks for sharing.
16380  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for new factoids? on: March 22, 2018, 11:21:24 AM
I started writing a welcome guide (which I need to get around to finishing) which will be quite short but include the most basic rules and frequently asked questions but will have links to the other more in depth guides and stickies and theymos agreed it could be linked to or shown when members signed up.

Don't want to move off topic, but this sounds like a great idea. Would be happy to offer to help writing/formatting/proof reading if you like.
