You seem to be implying that the only criteria for being in DT2 is the number of negatives sent. I think that's wrong.
No. I'm not implying that. But of course that's a factor, among several others If a user barely leaves any feedback at all then I do not understand why he was considered to DT2 in the first place The DT1 member trusts the judgment of that person. What's wrong with that? You're really starting to go off the rails with this one. What difference does the number of feedback ratings make? Is there a quota that a DT2 member is supposed to meet? Does the DT2 spot cost money to the forum? The counter argument is what use is trusting the judgement of that person if that person never/very rarely exercises that judgement to leave trust ratings (positive or negative). Just playing devil's advocate.

What about links to the stickied threads that newbies should be reading: rules, moderation policy, merit, trust, ranks, etc.
Also why not include that link to the full list? I had no idea the full list was accessible like that and have just enjoyed reading them all.

Can you clearly mention which part of country does Lauda belongs and what is his TAX ID? Why do you have this insane notion that someone would willingly post their location and tax details to a public forum? Because the guy takes more drugs than charlie sheen I presume you were told that by someone very reputable, a trusted 3rd party, an anonymous source, a friend of a friend?

CarVertical were just caught flat out lying about their "partnership" with BMW. Here is the tweet from cV announcing their "partnership" with BMW on 15th March: The big news community was talking about is finally here. carVertical is proudly announcing the partnership with BMW Group. Both companies collaborate to create the first ever connected reports for cars. And here is a tweet from BMW earlier today (20th March) denying any such thing: BMW has not entered into a cooperation/partnership with CarVertical. The company is using our BMW CarData interface available to any third party. CarVertical are paying BMW to use their product (which anyone can do), and claiming it as a "partnership". By this logic, I'm a "partner" with Microsoft and Apple. An absolute disgrace, and an obvious attempt to scam potential buyers. Yet another example of a scam coin making all of crypto look bad. If you are invested in this scam, I would recommend getting out ASAP.

VeChain and carVertical, although two very different projects with very different goals, have both claimed parternships with BMW over recent weeks. As has been revealed over the last few hours, although VEN continues to be a reliable project, cV is a scam. Meanwhile, BMW confirmed their partnership with VEN: VeChain is participating in the BMW Startup Garage programme. As a Venture Client, the BMW Group becomes a customer of the start-up at a time when the product, technology or service is not yet ready for the market.

Tron has a total supply of 100 billion. For it to be worth $10 a coin, its market cap would have to be $1 trillion. That's a higher market cap than Facebook, Amazon, Google, Apple or Microsoft. Couple that with the fact that the Tron developers have so little idea what they are doing they had to plagiarize their whitepaper and plagiarize their code.
Tron will never be worth $10. It doesn't even deserve to be in the top 100.
Can they coinburn in the future more coins to keep reducing it? They could. But at their current market cap of $2 billion, they would have to burn 99.8% of their coins for the remaining coins to be worth $10. Never going to happen. Also doesn't change the fact that it's a plagiarized shitcoin.

Dear actmyname! I need you help, and I want to talk with you!!!! On pm please!!! Yeah, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that following him around the forum posting off topic replies isn't going to help you get your negative trust removed.

Binance is currently the largest exchange in the world, with a volune of approximately $1.7billion in the last 24 hours. Its coin has an actual use (it reduces trading fees by half, and is therefore very valuable to traders), which is more than can be said for a lot of other top coins.

As a side note, your anchor tags alone make better reading than half the posts in this thread.
Oh, no! Are those not private!? I had thought they were invisible, just like e-mail and ICQ. I am exposed! You forget that I am the leet h4xx0r who doxed the undoxable! I'll peek at your tags as much as I want!
42
I can neither confirm nor deny that this is my tax number. However, I am somewhat leaning to the side of it being my number. I'll let The Pharmacist, nullius, Mr. Michael Cassio or one of my many other alts continue handling the case. /sWell, if you don’t deny that 42 is your tax number, then that must be true. Sorry, the proof by non-denial is undeniable per QS-logic. I will now commence searching all the world’s tax databases for a tax number of 42, so I can dox me you. Perhaps we could re-use the Babel fish that I mentioned earlier, in a quick re-hash of the classic Babel fish vs. God case: "I refuse to prove that I exist," says God/QS's source, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing." "But," says Man, "the Babel fish/constant spam is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves that You exist, and so therefore, by Your own arguments, You don't. QED" "Oh dear," says God/QS's source, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.
You forgot: Lauda is a tax evading sockpuppeting pill addict who turned you into a newt. Even if you got better, you should not let the crime go unpunished! Yes, a most horrendous case of Pleurodelinaemia, and one that required my years of knowledge to treat. Casting such a spell is clearly treason, and therefore I would argue for capital punishment.

Lauda strongly implied that I was right upthread. So strong implications are good enough now, when they weren't previously?

My source is not important. I am not wrong though, you can ask the relevant parties if you don't believe me. Baseless accusations, no evidence, and an "anonymous source". This all sounds strangely familiar...

It's the no-merit-having spammers that usually bring up ways of making it easier for them to earn merit points. Exactly this. Go through the Meta board and click on all the threads whining about merit (examples here, here, here, and here, to pick just a few). Also go to theymos's original announcement thread and look at the people in there whining about merit (examples here, here, here, and here, again to pick just a few). Now, what do all these people have in common? They all have no merit. They are all complaining about merit. They are all writing in poor, broken, sometimes incomprehensible English. They are all adding nothing to the discussion or just repeating points made previously (that they haven't bothered to read). These are exactly the types of posts/posters that merit was designed to combat. It is working as intended.

This being the Internet, I have been carefully observing you for evidence that you’re really a doctor. (See also, “I’m a sexy girl.”) Cogent scientific discussion in a professional tone with reference to the literature—well, I found that unconvincing. It could be faked. But now that I see your penmanship, I will vouch on your trust page that you are genuinely a doctor!
(Now, I must apply my skills at forensic handwriting analysis to revenge for your having doxed my name and photo...)
I'll have you know that I Googled* "Joke over head" and used the first image I found. I'm not so careless as to expose my handwriting to the internet! As a side note, your anchor tags alone make better reading than half the posts in this thread. *Not actually Google, but one of several privacy respecting search engines that exist. If you want to find a similar engine, trying Googling it, heh.

These threads are getting more ridiculous every day. OP has been a member for under 2 days and has made a grand total of 12 11 posts (seems one of his posts was deleted for spam).
I wonder if we could calculate the number of useless posts the merit system has helped reduced vs. the number of useless posts created about the merit system...

Between October and early January, with a lot of new money and new people getting involved in crypto, you could pick any shitcoin you liked and were almost guaranteed to make a profit (examples: Titcoin, ColossusCoin, Marijuanacoin, even top 100 shitcoins like Dentacoin, Verge, Tron). With the market crash, these coins dumped the hardest and the fastest, which will hopefully serve as a warning to not throw your money away on useless projects. Better to stick to solid fundamentals: BTC, ETH, NEO, etc.
There will always be naive newbies who will spend their money on trash (example: Bitconnect is still being traded), so it is unlikely a lot of these coins will ever die off entirely, but hopefully this prolonged dip will cause these projects to be rightfully shunned and ignored by the majority of the community.

With this number you need to channel Douglas Adams through his "DEEP THOUGHT" access link; any and all answers will be relevant but won't make sense. Any chance it could provide us with an electronic Babel fish? Would be useful to translate the broken English in to something comprehensible.

Mentally stable people are not internally put off-balance by being told to kill themselves. I know that if somebody on the Internet told me to kill myself, I would find that either boring, or mildly amusing in the yah, sure sense. There is only one cause I can adduce for somebody becoming upset by being told to kill himself: He has actual suicidal tendencies, and his therapist told him that suicide talk is harmful to him. As anyone who has ever played online games can confirm, if phrases like this actually meant anything the human race would have simultanesouly gone extinct and experienced a major population boom from the number of people being told "Kill yourself" and "I fuck your mother" on a daily basis.
