So there is currently no way to add time to your account with a code?

It's possible but they're rare to find. You can still redeem on their site, https://www.netflix.com/Gift but it's going to be very hard to find an active ode.

If it were easy, I wouldn't have needed to make a post here.   Wink
16382  Economy / Securities / Re: 2 years nastyfans on: December 09, 2014, 11:12:47 PM
2 years ago nastyfans auction opens.

While that seems like an eternity for a Bitcoin entity to stick around without being hacked or disappearing, I look forward to remembering these as the early days.  Smiley

I've finally decided to quit waiting around for BFL and have sent our non-functioning Monarchs to lightfoot for repair.  I've also disassembled our Prisma to send the non-functioning boards to CanaryInTheMine to have them replaced, and have applied for compensation through ASICMINER.
16383  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Legendaries review party of Spondoolies-Tech's SP20 on: December 09, 2014, 10:59:49 PM
I think all manufacturers should follow this example of sending free miners to Legendary Members.   Grin

Thanks Spondoolies for your generosity!

16385  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Legendaries review party of Spondoolies-Tech's SP20 on: December 09, 2014, 09:21:01 PM
The first 10 Legendary rank forum members that will PM me with their address and contact details will receive each a SP20 for review, free of charge.
The only condition is to post the review, including pictures, under a new thread under Mining -> Hardware, within 3 days of receiving the hardware.

PM sent!   Grin

Burnside was an American, so unless an American is running Havelock then there likely wont be much to worry about

False.  You must have gotten into Bitcoin after the GLBSE fiasco.
16387  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | POOL | COINS on: December 09, 2014, 08:03:24 AM
I have reached an agreement to purchase 17 ASICMINER direct shares on behalf of NastyMining for 1.5 BTC.  At 0.088 BTC per share, I believe this represents a good value.
16388  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC and BF] MININGCO.ETF - Closing on: December 09, 2014, 07:52:26 AM
I will give you 2.44 BTC for the fund's remaining assets so you can pay out your shareholders and close this fund.  This offer is good for a few days, should you decide to accept it.

I will accept your offer. Please see the PM from me.

Thank you.

An agreement has been reached and a transfer of assets has been initiated.  I will provide payment to Carnth upon completion of the transfer of assets.
16389  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: December 08, 2014, 11:42:55 PM
How does one go about transferring their ASICMINER shares to a new holder?  I PM'd friedcat, but I didn't know where else to start.

I apologize for dropping off the face of Bitcointalk for so long. I had a lot of personal things to take care of. One of which was getting a new job... at Coinbase.

I want to put any fears to rest: I'm not dead. I did not run off with any of the fund's assets.

The first thing I did on the forum was check this thread and make this response. I do have a number of PMs and I will check them after I finish this post.

Congrats on the new job.

You're a difficult person to get in touch with.

I will give you 2.44 BTC for the fund's remaining assets so you can pay out your shareholders and close this fund.  This offer is good for a few days, should you decide to accept it.

haha so dont worry about changing it to PoP or should I change it to PoP?

An easy way to get the proper username/port is to use this form: https://nastyfans.org/nastypool/
16392  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [P2Pool] NastyPool - 0% Fee, Prop-on-PPLNS, IPv6 Support, Bonus Lottery! on: December 08, 2014, 05:23:57 PM
i am 15SmTha1e1HqjUVAX4kS41UpSvDAc5o1N5-PPS

i saw earlier in the thread someone sasid to add PPS

We changed it to -PoP actually, but it has since changed to using port 3334 with the -PoP for NastyPoP payouts and port 9332 for regular p2pool mining.

An easy way to get the proper username/port is to use this form: https://nastyfans.org/nastypool/

ok that makes more sense. one more question for now
accepted   rejected
29359103    4847452

why am I getting so many rejected hashes? or is that normal?

and wouldn't 0.03 be a little too few for mining since friday afternoon constantly (at approx 1 th)? I mean idk, Im not trying to say anyone is trying to cheat me, im just asking questions on the theoreticals so I can get a better grasp of understanding lol.

The high reject rate is normal because you are mining on a p2pool node. The rounds change frequently and this causes a high reject rate. It has little effect on your earnings though. I'd recommend reading the p2pool wiki for more info on that.

As far as your earnings go, they are still highly dependent on luck. While adding the -PoP flag does drastically reduce a single miner's variance, your actual earnings are dependent upon the p2pool network solving blocks.

just curious but how are you expecting to make your payouts this friday with 0.1 btc in stock? and

expected payout this round: 0.00733794 BTC (NastyPoP)

ive been mining for like 4 days straight at 1 th, why is my payout less than 3 dollars?

I believe you're looking at your payout for just the current block. Look at the "Current NastyFans Distribution Window Standings" in the -PoP test page to see your total for the week.

16395  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Netflix Code on: December 08, 2014, 08:10:44 AM
I'm looking for a Netflix 1-year code to add to my account. I'm not interested in buying someone else's account.
16396  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [12 Pre-Orders Left] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: December 08, 2014, 04:51:58 AM
Pre-orders have taken a little longer than expected, so I've decided to sweeten the offer a little more by including a free NastyShirt with each pre-order!  12 more to go!

16397  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | POOL | COINS on: December 08, 2014, 04:44:21 AM
I'll be placing an order to manufacture the below shirts sometime in the coming week with the hopes of getting them before Christmas.  They are going to be printed on heavy Hanes Tagless shirts.  I will also be throwing in a free T-shirt with every 5oz coin pre-order to try and get that project moving along.

16398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Zuckerberg investing $100 million in Bitcoin on: December 06, 2014, 07:00:54 AM
maybe he is buying 250,000 bitcoins and make a zuckerbrg trust before the winklevoss release theirs..

.. imagine it..

winklevoss's lose out twice with a great idea because zuckerburg releases their idea before they do

That would be pretty amazing, although the Winks already own BTC so I'm sure they'd welcome Mark into the space. Not to mention the Winks have Spiderwoman on their side, so their ETF will be the first to be approved.
16399  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Prisma 1.4Th/s group buy @ 1.42 btc with coupon on: December 06, 2014, 04:19:23 AM
here's the list of folks requesting boards (ledger packing order):

1. OgNasty
2. Chris_Sabian
3. suchmoon
4. bigredbutton

If I missed someone, please let me know.

I have 8 boards available so I don't have enough for everyone.

Thanks for remembering me, but I already shipped my board to HK last week. I might need your help to confirm the delivery date if I apply for compensation with AM, haven't looked into that yet. So you can assign that replacement board to someone else.
thanks for letting me know... your dates can be looked up from your labels you emailed, just lookup tracking #.  if you can't find it, let me know

Sure, I'll look that up, I was just thinking that AM could ask for some additional proof or confirmation. Thanks for the help.
Ah, OK... if you need anything, just let me know. thanks!

Will you be contacting us with the information needed to send you our boards?  I'll do a test tomorrow morning to see if I need 2 or 3 and I can ship them out first thing Monday morning if I get the necessary info.

Any word on who gets the boards? I'd love to send you my bad ones ASAP.
