for me have 10BTC is enough but you must have 1m EThereum too to your retire day i think for my retirement day, i will choose some altcoin too, like dogecoin, litecoin , monero or maybe ethereum too.

i will choose bitcoin
because gold price will drop a lot soon
bitcoin price can drop too, don't forget it. bitcoin have more chance to pump and dump like the price now , look at huobi the price rising from 3590CNY to 3718CNY just in 30minute for me bitcoin is the highest technology, that's why im interesting to choose it, not always "price"

How much capital do you think would you need if you were to start trading regularly? What would be your back up plan in case you incur a big loss? Aside from joining signature campaigns, what other skills can you offer that would yield additional income for you? Would all these activities give you a consistent amount that would make you quit your job? These are some of the questions and concerns I have in mind. These are what I would ponder if I were to think of going full time on bitcoin.
i think mining altcoin is good way before going full time on bitcoin, trading is good too, but mining bitcoin more profitable for me, we can sell our hardware after 2xROI (return of investment) or we can use it to mining other coin. for me we must have more capital to go full time. to back up anything.

The bitcoin is better but not used a lot by company's so that is the downside of using the bitcoin. With paypal you can almost pay everywhere online these days due to this fact paypal is now still better.
in fact paypal give more guarantee for user, more safety for customer, this is why some people still use paypal for buying something

As a casual Bitcoin user, if you have ever hired an external developer or perhaps used TeamViewer as a drop-in solution to gain remote access to your home or work computer, then those connection points are now likely compromised. Reports of a service outage came midnight on June 2 through Twitter, where TeamViewer mentioned that they were experiencing a Denial of Service Attack to their DNS servers. More troublesome is the reaction of from TeamViewer, who has since blamed “weak user credentials” as the culprit for the string of unauthorized logins. According to a source who goes by the name of /u/Macdonjo on Reddit, the company is attempting to silence articles and publications through threats: “We were basically forced to change what the article said, based on what TeamViewer wanted us to say about them.” http://bitcoinist.net/teamviewer-breach-bitcoin-risk/

I have saved 5 btc till date and I am very much satisfied with it as halving will make me to earn more profits from it so its better to hold till then.
5 btc is very good amount to save. you almost have 2500$ and after halving you'll gain possibly 6000$. Not bad at all. I was very careless person about saving my money. I always spend my earning in bulshit things. buy games, softwares and other things, but now I am saving and hopeful to make 1btc at the time of halving. sure it ? possibly $6000? so the rate of bitcoin will be above $1000 ? i think we must thinking more reasonable, $700 for each bitcoin is good rate. I think $6000 is to much, halving is profitable but you need to careful too, because the price of bitcoin can go down anytime and me, saved around 1.5 bitcoins. me too i think it's to much, last day bitcoin reach $540 then fail again, i think bitcoin will reach $600 soon and fail again, maybe bitcoin will reach $700 but im not sure will reach $1000 again.

My biggest problem is the fact that Bitcoin Core takes a lot of place on hard drive, but that's not a major concern I think.
it's not mayour concern because we can use other wallet with low space like electrum wallet, multibit HD etc. i think the problem is so many spamer etwork in blockchain.

It all depends on what a person working and how much we earn funds. In most cases I think it's not worth it to bet i think in some case, if you can save some amount of your earning bitcoin for future , it's big profit than real job.

It was after Arthur Hayes got laid off from Citigroup Inc. in 2013 that he stumbled across one of the simplest ways to make money he’d ever seen. He was living in Hong Kong and saw the price of bitcoin across the China border was much higher. He hopped on a bus, opened a China account and started buying low in one market and selling high in the other. “It was too easy,” he says. The price discrepancy eventually disappeared, but it gave him an idea: He could make more money if he gave others the means to take advantage of similar trading opportunities between countries. So in early 2014, he started the Bitcoin Mercantile Exchange with two friends. The mission is to create an institution like the Chicago Mercantile Exchange that will let people use the cryptocurrency to bet on securities not easily accessible in their home markets, especially China. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-05-29/ex-citi-trader-starts-bitcoin-exchange-to-entice-china-investors

As the Bitcoin price continues to rise, traders across the world have started trading bitcoin with renewed interest. It seems like many traders are trading other crypto asset holdings for bitcoin. Ethereum, which has been in the good graces of crypto-traders so far is bearing the burnt at this time. With more people trading in their ether holds for bitcoin, the number of takers for ether has significantly reduced at the moment. This has led to a drop in the value of ether. http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/05/29/bitcoin-price-rockets-past-500-ethereum-slump-imminent/

Between May 9 to May 12, crypto-currency trading platform, Gatecoin, suffered what the company confirmed was a breach by external parties. The company brought in Tehtri Security to conduct a forensic investigation to determine how the breach occurred and the extent of losses. In a blogpost the company confirmed that the breach may have occurred between the evenings of May 9 and May 12, 2016, which Gatecoin attributed to a service disruption caused by a server reboot in the evening of May 9. The company detected suspicious transactions in the evening of May 13 and suspended all services to prevent further unauthorized access to the ETH (ethereum) and BTC (bitcoin) hot wallets. http://www.enterpriseinnovation.net/article/hot-wallet-breach-hk-bitcoin-exchange-lessons-learned-1195404574
