Yeah buddy
1642  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin2Cdkey legit? on: November 02, 2011, 01:07:00 AM
I just happen to catch him on the chat room. I have my game and its installing successfully on Steam. However I did create a new steam account since I was required to either purchase a Russian VPN or just give him the credentials and have him activate the game for me using a Russian VPN this should only be an issue for out of country region games.

Either way I got my game quick and I will be buying another one tomorrow.

1644  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin2Cdkey legit? on: November 02, 2011, 12:43:46 AM
Okay so when I paid for it, I spoke with the Admin on their chat he said just be patient and bit-pay will approve in an hour.... so I waited about 2 hours came back and he said something along the lines of "yep I got your payment just waiting on steam to send me cd-key".
When I first spoke with him right when I paid he specifically stated "I'll be here all day" and now he is off line.
He is from foreign country(to me) called ugaria or something with a "u".

To be continued to morrow....
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how long ago did you heard about Bitcoin? Poll! on: November 01, 2011, 08:31:00 PM

1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how long ago did you heard about Bitcoin? Poll! on: November 01, 2011, 07:10:08 PM
I joined becuase I just lost my job and my computer ran all day. I remember Google doing this screensaver thing where they would use your CPU resources to compute things. I also remember that the Fold @ Home doing something similar and I said to my self... there has gotta be a service out there that pays you for your CPU resources and man was I right! Wink

Edit: in case your wondering I googled something like "Get paid for spare cpu resources" and then I found a forum that was telling people about Bitcoin(a non-bitcoin related forum)

1650  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Create a game that accepts Bitcoin for currency on: October 31, 2011, 06:15:33 PM
How about raining the 50 BTC down randomly in small patches. Send your harvesters out, or something along these lines...

EDIT: about an engine: I played spring a while ago with a friend. pretty good engine, it seems to me: http://springrts.com/

Ya, I guess they do not even need to be considered BTC in the game. Maybe something that you can sell for BTC or whichever.

may the SPICE be with you!

That spring engine looks quite nice. Open source and everything.

I agree.

Ohh SPICE will SWIM be there too?

I don't know that I would be downloading Russian EXEs from newbie posters...

what you mean ?

you can go to pool, go to exchange https://btc-e.com/exchange and check information

you can not download client and just mining on pool and send coins from pool to exchange

i found that and came to pool, mining some coins , sold them and have idea call for everybody

and Russian EXEs - you wrote not correct , it`s rucoin-setup.exe - where you see russian?? hmm...

Why you answer him but no answer me?

1657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fundamental Change of Ownership? on: October 28, 2011, 06:31:41 PM
I've felt changes happening as well for the past month. It seems that "connected nodes" are dropping. My website use to have a constant 100 nodes on average now in the 50-70 range of nodes connected. Makes me believe that a lot of miners whom were constantly online are now dropping off. As far as all the theories go well... Idk i guess we'll never know.

I suppose that if more "pure" bitcoiners come in and mine instead of "pumpdump" or "traders" come in we can get a pretty good stable economy going scince pure bitcoiners will use their bitcoins when its good for the economy and then hold their bitcoins when its good for the ecnomoy. Traders/Pumpdumpers will just hoard until its profitable to cash out which isn't good considering all the purists are the ones influencing the ride. Currently tho its sorta looking like all the money makers are dropping out.

Spot on - maybe we could somehow police those evil speculators, traders and pumpdumpers?  Otherwise they will just jump on the bandwagon at the very instant that the rally is confirmed.

The way to 'police' those evil speculators is to be better at it than they are.

Word!

(that means +1 in Ebonics)

Finally thanks, here is the link to the project. I won't give you any instructions on installation or setup just report back if you fail to figure out anything.
https://github.com/Xenland/BitcoinRetail-Lite

This obviously requires Bitcoin running in -server or -daemon mode to work. and you must setup the configuration to work with the program.
