1641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe stolen funds should be returned to their owner? on: August 28, 2019, 09:39:30 AM
Base on simple morality, I'd agree that stolen funds should be returned to the owners. With the rate of thefts in the cryptosphere, security agencies would be interested in tracking these funds. Many crypto users do not like the idea of regulation - I don't too, but this is one of the problems regulation tend solve. We don't have to be nonchalant since we haven't lost any funds to these thefts.

It is doubtful if anyone who steals in the first place would want to return it because they already plan it. Why steal if they have morality.  Except the thief is forced by law to return the loot they will not return it. This is simple maths.
1642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sold too damn early!! Kicking myself... on: August 28, 2019, 07:12:15 AM
If you sell to take care of a pressing financial problem and you sell above your purchase price, there is nothing to regret then. Even at the current price you think it is high will look cheap a few years now. Choose your point and sell for a reason, not for panic.
1643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Number One Reason NOT to invest in Crypto on: August 27, 2019, 04:08:09 PM
I even think now is a right time to put more money into crypto, getting such idea is number one reason the world now is digital and it's revolutionary.

This is the right way to think and not those who think it is dangerous to invest in crypto. Crypto is the future of money and doing business. Anyone not seeing this is missing alot.
1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dont stop been a bounty hunter because of present condition on: August 24, 2019, 08:24:18 PM
The following are reasons why i think its a bad idea to stop been a bounty hunter

1. Is it just me or it happens to others too?whenever i give up on something thats when that thing will make a good turn, the moment you give up on bounty thats when good projects will come around and you will lose the chance to acquire some tokens

2. Many keeps complaining about how bad some bounty projects are but if you keep choosing projects and you keep failing you will end up been a lot smarter when choosing next time unless you arent ready to learn.

3. Who says altcoin season wont return?many projects seize continues progress because of no altcoin season,i called these projects 'weaklings' but still there will always be good days no matter how long bad days stay around, altcoin season might take longer to come but im sure it will, what about you?

Many failures from choosing wrong projects will discourage anyone from participating in bounties. And that is why many posters will want to do signature campaigns that pay in btc so they are sure of their earning. With altcoin bounty no one is sure if they will get paid in scam coin or not. The right way to go about it is to be careful when choosing bounties to get profitable and good projects that will eventually get listed.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on IEOs on: August 24, 2019, 07:36:43 PM
Recently, I've seen a lot of positive press regarding IEOs. After all, Binance is already successfully running them, giving ICO projects a chance to shine and many other exchanges are following suit.
My personal opinion is that IEOs should be discouraged. Firstly, it gives more and more power to these centralised exchanges, who are able to charge higher, more ridiculous listing fees for coins as well as extremely large payments to hold IEOs.

Business is about making profit. The world is a capitalist place and people do not mostly care about what affects others. Mind you, it was the failure and  scams common with ICO that gave rise to IEOs. Am not sure any exchange will receive fine for running an IEO, unless regulations are put in place to checkmate the entire industry.
1646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which coins or tokens will be profitable within this month? on: August 24, 2019, 08:10:35 AM
well, coins like xrp, bch, bchsv, ltc, eos might get your attention. when you have a good strategy, and the right calculation, I think you can make a big profit by using the coins. the coins are coins that have been very popular, and are trusted today.

I can take the risk with the above coins you listed hut not with xrp. Ripple has not be encouraging ever, the price is still in cents and only managed to cross one dollar in 2018. Though it has so much publicity and good advertising but the supply is not good. It is too high. I will not advice anyone to invest in ripple.
1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy 2nd Anniversary, SEGWIT! on: August 23, 2019, 09:05:36 PM

Till date am yet to understand the importance of Segwit to the blockchain. I think it is more of a hype than function and use. It is more noise than facts. Even the Segwit to Segwit transfers do not process that fast.
1648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm interested in trading but don't know where to start. Any tips? on: August 23, 2019, 07:36:09 PM
Try worthy trading platforms. Binance and coinbase are great, about kraken I doubt, and also you can use monfex

This will come in after op has learnt how to trade. Been on a good exchange does not mean being a skillful trader. You have to learn how to trade first and I think that is what the op has asked for. YouTube is a good place to start from.learning how to trade.
1649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or LTC ? on: August 21, 2019, 06:30:16 PM
Hye, please don't think it is an investment advice, but as a short term trader, I am just asking from you based on your own market research that as whenever BTC flies to moon, Altcoins dump. So based on your speculation in the current market scenario in which Altcoin we should trade ? for good profits ? LTC, BCH, BSV or whatever you think could be the best in usdt market ?

With the three options mentioned above, I choose to invest in bitcoin above them because bitcoin has a high possibility to give better profit than others. It can record over $500 - $1,000 in a day whereas Litecoin and others hardly go above $100 profit in a day.
1650  Economy / Economics / Re: HODL! U.S. debt Alarm on: August 21, 2019, 08:16:55 AM
Some how it was the financial meltdown of 2008 in the United States of America that gave rise to the idea of Bitcoin and now it is look like the same America will further strengthen bitcoin indirectly through its inability to solve its debt backlog. We are waiting for this.
1651  Economy / Economics / Re: FED Chairmain compares Bitcoin to Gold on: August 21, 2019, 05:47:44 AM
I was surprised that I didn't see much coverage on this. This is pretty big, the guy running the FED at least officially basically knows what's up: That Bitcoin is being used a a store of value/speculation, and that it's competition for gold.

He also admitted that US as world reserve currency may not last forever...

We did not get much publicity on that because the press is the major cause of bitcoin fudding, always spreading false news about bitcoin but hiding the positive news. One day, all these negative news about bitcoin will end and we will see the importance of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
1652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Betting on the price falling on: August 17, 2019, 06:15:04 PM
i can bet that bitcoin might create over 80% dominance in this crypto market. so far the bitcoin dominance is getting out of hand and altcoins are failing rapidly. this might affect the current market condition and it is not a situation for cryptocurrency. there should be balance to avoid a total loss in the altcoin market. people might tends to sell off.

I hate to admit that I do not like the way bitcoin dominance has rose in the past few months. This will not allow the general market grow. I think it is almost 70% at this time. I hope it goes down so we can see new projects and ICOs rise to full potentials. This huge bitcoin dominance is dragging cryptocurrency down.
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be ware of the airdrop forms on: August 17, 2019, 07:08:23 AM
I never use my main mailbox for registration in obscure projects. I use either a second mailbox or generate a temporary one in special services. Therefore, my main mail is almost always without spam.

It is an easy task weeding spam mails if you do get them. Just go to unsubscribe button and click on it removing yourself from the mailing list of the project. You can also block the site from sending you mails. It is very annoying when you get the spams.
1654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: August 17, 2019, 05:29:46 AM
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

Already there are coins ehichbare even greater than ETH in price but maybe people are not noticing them. Dexter coin is above $800 at the moment. Forget Ripple, it is almost a dead coin like Dogecoin. The only thing keeping it going is publicity. With time most of the old altcoins are likely to disappear.
1655  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: August 15, 2019, 06:22:23 PM
Excessive confidence in trading will destroy anyone. Trading is a risky game and anyone who engage in it must do it with care by setting risk limit. Professional traders will advice that traders should protect their capital and limit exposure to risk. Without this the overconfident traders will end up with great losses.
1656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters killed ICO? on: August 14, 2019, 06:08:37 PM
It is not true that bounty hunters kill ICO. Developers and teams kill ICO because most of them plan to run with investors money and some dump the coin once it gets listed in an exchange. Most hunters do not even get the opportunity to sell their rewards before the developers dump them, make their money and run away.
1657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FET & BINANCE Best of Scam ??? on: August 14, 2019, 06:04:29 AM
Really i don't heard about this project until now, you and your friends invested on this project and this project was on Binance as a IEO or this was a token listed to Binance and you and your friends buy from Binance?

FETCH was IEO on Binance. The OP and his friends believe it was easy money to buy any advertised IEO on Binance without knowing that business is risk everywhere. Investment is gambling. You win or you loose. Do not blame anyone if you loose. Am sure OP will not be crying here if they made profit. Such is life.
1658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market dominance, Good for altcoins or Not on: August 13, 2019, 02:39:51 PM

The present Bitcoin dominance of the market is very bad for the entire market. It is the percentage in dominance that I often check whenever I visit the coinmarketcap site. I feel bad knowing that bitcoin controls 69%. Altcoins will not rise well with that level of dominance by bitcoin. I hope the dominance goes down to create room for growth for Altcoins.
1659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst: Bitcoin below $ 10,000 is a gift! on: August 13, 2019, 11:59:09 AM

Even if bitcoin price drops below $10,000, there will be many who will still expect it to drop to the initial $3000 level. Am sure there are many here who knew about bitcoin before it got to $1,000 but did not buy because they expected it to drop back to $100-500 region. And here they are today without a single bitcoin in their wallet. People should buy at any point they have the capital to buy and not think it is crashing because no matter what happens bitcoin will continue to rise. Even if it falls, it will rise.
1660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Overview of Altcoin bounties on: August 12, 2019, 06:16:12 PM
it would be better if you included the percentage of reward allocations for each type of campaign, so we know the bounty allocation that we will participate in.
Sorry, I don't spend to much time to do this. Bounty hunters can check it themselves. It is so easy to spend a couple of minutes to take a glance and get such details.

This is true. Anybody wanting to participate in bounties have to find time to do their checks too. OP, this is a great effort you have put here. I will keep this on watch and also reward you with merit when I have one spendable merit to use. Keep the thread up.

Note that TRONscratch has abruptly ended its campaign slated to last for 4 weeks. It did only two weeks.

Storichain bounty was supposed to end on July 21 as stated on the OP. I do not know if it still runs till now.

You can also add the AIGO bounty. Here is the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5158068.0
