This bot crashes when I try to start it, any ideas on what is causing this to happen?

that means you don't have all of the files. I'm assuming you downloaded only the exe. You will need to download the full version that has xulrunner and geckobrowser with it. http://sourceforge.net/projects/seuntjiejddb/files/latest/download

Thanks seuntjie for this great bot!

Just a suggestion, can you add a random zigzag mode? , Just randomly alternate between hi and low?

Eventually

IF Dooglus release API key would you, Seuntjie make your bot based on this ?
And what bet speed should we except from your bot if using an api key?

i've waited for the api for so long that i decided to write my own. JDCAPI (just dice custom api) is in the making and already 90% functional. I'm running an test using the api on just dice called SeuntjieBot, if you want to see it in action, head to JD and send '!s' into the chat. as far as betting goes, the api can reach 3 bets/s, but averages 1.28 bets/s over a time of 30 minutes. This depends completely on your internet speed, how close you are to a Cloudflare data centre and how close that data centre is to the JD and DD server.

V3 of my bot will be built on jdcapi

edit: jdcapi will be released as opensource with documentation and example applications. the api works for JD and DD

I'm also a programmer. I can help you with different things if you want.

If you want, you could try and fix the bugs mentioned here and in the guide thread untill i have time to do v3

Hi,

Feature request (for v3 Smiley: a counter of how many time I hit the worst loss streak.
Right now, stats tell me the worst loss streak was 18, which is a good information. But nothing tells me if it happened once, twice, thrice...

Did I say I love your program?

All kind of stats will be available with the new version.

If you love it sou much, Help the development along with a donation or two Smiley
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guide For Seuntjies Dice Bot on: February 22, 2014, 09:25:14 AM
Hi,

I just discovered your bot. If it works well for me, I will probably give you a tip.

Feature request:
In "Advanced Bet Settings", if "Limit" is enabled, add the following action:
"When limit is reached () multiply the bet [xx]" (xx being a field for the multiplier).

The idea is that, as soon as my balance reaches a certain threshold, I may afford to bet more whilst keeping the same value for maximum bets (I use 16, the lowest green).

Thanks!
Another feature request:
"optimise maximum bet"

bet the maximum possible to continue to have the same maximum bet.

Example: say that my balance is high enough that if I bet 100 satoshi, I have a maximum bet of 16
Later, my balance increases enough that if I can retain a maximum bet of 16 with betting 105 satoshi.
I would like the bot to automatically upgrade the bet to 105
Of course, it should work both way: should I lose money, the bot should downgrade the bet accordingly.

Advantage: earn more
Disadvantage: does not increase your "security buffer" as not raising the bet (current behaviour) does.

I believe it would a great addition to the bot. Readers please comment!

Those are basically the same thing you requested. Has been added to the list for review later.
1645  Economy / Gambling / Re: [http://just-dice.com] Martingale betting bot for JD on: February 22, 2014, 09:22:26 AM
Could you add mousever help over any function? Right now, it is not implemented for checkboxes below "Times multiplier by"

Also: since it is XULrunner, could cross-compile (or compile, if you have the right platforms at hand) a Linux ou OS X version? I know that it is libre software and as such I could compile it myself; I just don't have the right expertise

Finally, for information, my settings are the same as you (multiplier 2, constant), with maximum bets 16 (I did get 18 losses in a row once but I managed to survive it, probably thanks to "reset after 10 losses in a row", but I am not sure, since I do not know how to access full history). The main difference is that I use a 2.1 multiplier. That way, I win on both losses and wins (with a regular 50%, gain is decreasing with the number of successives losses; here it is increasing). The other side of the coin is that maximum bet is more crucial than before.
Just a suggestion. Can you add a feature where the bot changes the base bet when the balance reaches at one point? it would really be helpful.

Firstly:
Quote
I will not be doing any maintenance on v2.4.6

Version 3 will not bet using xulrunner, it will be using jdcapi  (See http://nixsy-l.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=19), which will be cross platform. The bot will also be ported to mono to be cross platform. Right now however, there is no mono port for the bot, so it will not work on anything other than .net and windows.

I am keeping track of the suggestions and once i seriously start work on v3, I will decide what to implement and what not.
1646  Economy / Gambling / Re: [http://just-dice.com] Martingale betting bot for JD on: February 19, 2014, 10:19:39 PM
i would like to do multiplie x4 after every losses then reset after 3wins in a row.
how ? thanks
0.01 lost
0.04 win, win, win, then 0.01.

I'm sorry i don't immediately have access to a computer with windows where i can test it, but my best guess would be the following:

on loss: multiplier 4
mode: constant
keep all else blank.

on win: multiplier 1
mode constant
enable reset after 3 wins in a row
keep all else blank

Thank you for your reply but it don't work, after x4 win one time, it reset to starting bet.

"on win: multiplier 1
mode constant
enable reset after 3 wins in a row
keep all else blank"

looks like it do x1 after 3 wins in a row rather than reset.
i set the multiplier to x4 and after 3 wins in a row it do x4

like i said i can't test it, what you could try is set mutliplier on win to 4, mode: change once, after: 1 bet, time multiplier by: 0.25. i suggest using a very small bet to test this

trying this bot now looks and works nicely but i notice and ask some things

-when i ask it to change the server seed after x amount of bets and its in a losing streak it doesn't continue to multiply but starts at 1 (the first bet again)

-overall lag from doge-dice could that mess up the bets or does the program know the site lags/stops like that? (does slowing the bet speeds help? whats the default bets/min?)

-why in options it asks for user/pass? whats the point?

-you that know very much about jd and dc whats the highest losing streak u seen using hi/low zigzag (to be safe) also is changing the seed even do anything or a gamblers fallacy?

nice program if i win big ill make sure to tip

1 - thats odd. i think i know where the error lies, but will not fix it right now, sorry about that. I'm busy with 2 other projects, v3 of the bot have some tests coming up. I will not be doing any maintenance on v2.4.6. (reason for late reply also)

2- lag or site delays does not affect the bot. what does affect it is changed in balance caused by factors other than it's own betting, like depositing, investing, withdrawing, divesting or betting from somewhere else. Site timeout sometimes causes errors, as well as (apparently a few) bugs like the seed thing. so slowing the bot would not help with the resetting bug. There is no default bets/min. If no speed is set, the bot will post the next bet as soon as it gets the result from the previous one, i have a relatively slow internet connection compared to most of the people here, but i have seen my bot go >2bets/s on doge dice

3 - if you set your username and password in the bot settings, it will automatically enter them when the site loads, assuming you have a username and password set at just-dice. it can also log you in automatically when the bot opens if you enable the feature

4 - i don't really know that much. i filtered all bets except my own so i can properly test it and enjoy the chat easier. I can't answer you out of personal experience because i've never used the zig zag except for testing purposes. as for the seed, out of a programmer point of view, it makes no difference. as for gamblers fallacy, well its a fallacy, what i say doesn't matter.

hope this clears thing up for you. Sorry for the late reply but have been pretty busy. Tipping would be appreciated Wink

seuntjie, do you still have PM from me? what do you think about my betting strategy? can we implement that in your bot?

Like i said in response to your pm, i can get you close to those settings, but not exactly the same. I will not be implementing any new features for a while, so if you need something else added to the bot, you will either need to do so yourself or get someone else to do it for you.

If you still haven't managed to set it up so it comes close to your settings, send me another pm and i'll send you settings

I tried Changed Once and Variable but none does what I want:

I want to keep repeating a bet at 1x multiplier and then change it to a 400x multiplier if I get a 4 loss streak (then reset if I win or lose).

How would I do this?

use change once, set "after" to 4, set "times multiplier" to 400 and multiplier to 1
1651  Economy / Gambling / Re: [http://just-dice.com] Martingale betting bot for JD on: February 05, 2014, 06:50:38 PM
are you connected to the internet (stupid question but the bot is having network problems)?
or are you maybe behind a proxy? that could be a cause as well
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guide For Seuntjies Dice Bot on: January 31, 2014, 07:48:43 PM
just point the one to doge dice and the other to just dice, or run them on different computers (create a VM for the one?)

You can run as many as you want simultaneously, just don't try to run more than one on the same account at the same time

seuntjie, Ideally be able to run both on the same machine without mixing configurations

What is your Doge address  to send some dogs?

Noted for v3

you are good at making smokescreen to whitewash your scam lol ;-)

Yeah, damn me and my mathematical rigour.

you are full of it bro, yes it's fairer than other sites... but it still is rigged!~ i want my BTC back because i know i was cheated i'm not too happy about it ! =(

A site is fair or it isn't.  Just-Dice is.

I've never ignored anyone on this forum ever.  You're close to becoming the first.

= lol it's "fairer" than most>>you are technically in my brothers territory so you have to deal with the Qubecicans or Canadian moose jockeys ...whatever you are funny guy but soon I get all your coins! LOL =) weeeee

this is all i can say to this guy....

I cant start the version 2.4.6. It starts with "the program stopped working". 2.4.5 was running fine, except i couldnt bet with decimals. What can be the issue with this version?

Seems to be an issue with my PC... 2.4.5 won't start now either... Sad I will check it.

If you are behind a proxied connection, this might be the cause
1656  Economy / Gambling / Re: [http://just-dice.com] Martingale betting bot for JD on: January 21, 2014, 08:37:30 AM
Apologies, I did read the beginner's guide, and I must have overlooked the description of what "Stop on Win" which is enabled by default does.

The bot speed however. is completely open to interpretation. "As fast as the site allows" reads to me as "as fast as I can with no restriction".

Also, I keep seeing a bug where invalid data is added to cache, which screws the graph. Shouldn't this be filtered?

Hehehe that looks funny.... Yeah i'l have a look at that.
1657  Economy / Gambling / Re: [http://just-dice.com] Martingale betting bot for JD on: January 20, 2014, 07:05:58 AM
Works great, except for when you want to stop. The stop on win option does nothing, and neither does the stop button.

 Cry

The other major feature request should probably be an inbuilt rate limit in line with the FAQ. It should bet once a second on low odds, and scale up. It's basically waste resources on both ends if you go faster than the site lets you.

Did you even read the beginners guide? If the stop on next win is ticked and click stop, it will go on betting untill it wins and then stop. If it is not ticked and you click it stop, it eill stop as soon as the current bet is finished.

In the advqnced settings tab, there is a bot speed setting you can use to slow doen the betting, otherwise it bets as fast as the site allows. It wastes almost no resources client side while waiting for the bet to finish, and wastes no resources server side while waiting for it to finish

Could you make a thead to share the best strategies with your bot?

I've been meaning to make a site where you can get the latest downloads, suggestions etc and share some strategies (by actually uploading them) and discuss, but life's been busy, at the soonest i will be able to do it by middle February.

@seuntjie: congrats. You sir, are a great developer. Many thanks for this.

Thank you very much

Will tip you when I have some profits.

BTW: Do you work on implementing the fibonacci betting pattern?

Will work on Fibo when i have the above mentioned site up and running, I need to redesign a lot of the bot anyway
