Sorry for the lack of posts, computer died so had to get it all set up again.
With the lack of community support and market/price, I've decided to slightly change the plan with the multipool and p2p exchange as I think if I launch them as dope only services they won't get used.
So the current plan is to make the mutlipool pay out in the users choice of currency, there will be 0 pool fees (except for exchange feee and withdraw fees) for dope and a few other coins I help with and dope will still have a added bonus feature. to give users more reason to mine dope. Other coins will have 2% fee, The biggest reason for this is it will allow us to actually find blocks and allow us to mine the post profitable high difficulty coins. I'll start work on the changes this week and update with a eta shortly after.
The p2p exchange, now I plan to widen the coins I support on it and make it so you can do crypto<>crypto rather than just crypto<>fiat. Again dope and other coins I help with will have 0 exchange fees and only withdraw fees, other coins will have a small fee.

And here come the FUD brigade, dope coin has nothing to do with bottled water, the lead dev (dopecoindude) has never said it will be done, so stop going off the rails over nothing. Altcoin.center has every right to try and explore other ideas to aid crypto and dopecoin, so there is no need for you to throw your rattles out of the pram.
As dopey has said, our aim is still for the dope market and that has never changed.
I own a lot of Dopecoins, it's not FUD when it's legitimate criticism. Buy or sell the coin, I don't give a flip. The water is unique in Finland it seems. More clean and pure. The goal is to find something to peg with FOR ALL cannabis related coins. This will provide some stability. At least this is the thinking. |

I sold my miner because Im not happy with mining results. My 30ghs on Hashie mining only 20 000 satoshi in 24hours. When cloudminr.io mining nearly 100 000 satoshi in a week with 10ghs.
Profit through mining is a pipe dream now. Which makes it even more surprising the multitude of cloudmining companies that are starting up. Competing with paltry payouts from AMHASH, Genesis, Hashie and others is extremely easy for cloud mining startups. So, of course they spring up. I would agree with this but i always hope i can pick up cheap GHS and then boom difficulty drops or is flat lined. Like it seems this will be 2nd drop in diff I agree. Hopefully, this is the case. |

To be perfectly honest, I'm not a big fan of voting or democracy. =D There are situations when they are the best or even only options, but this is not one of those. We don't yet have a clearly defined "us" who could or should make collective decisions.
I used my self-proclaimed temporary dictatorial rights and reserver 420alliance.info for the project. The "classic three" of .com, .net and .org were already taken, and I would have preferred the .info version anyways due to many factors - one of them being that .info is operated by Afilias instead of the Public Interest Registry that holds .org. No, worries! Didn't know how far down the rabbit hole we were I don't really understand what this alliance hopes to achieve. For example if a person from one coin talks to a headshop owner who wants to accept crypto then there is no incentive to get other coins involved. What would be the purpose of 420alliance.info? Rather than splitting effort across multiple coins would it not benefit everyone involved to focus on one? If you are bagholding an ICO coin where the developer left it would make more sense IMO to cut the losses and focus effort on something that everyone can truly work together on. This isn't criticism of the idea, it's just that I don't understand it.
Your voice is what is most important. As stated we'll come up with some basic initiatives , so there is a clear path of understanding as the goal to this group. Think of it as a "mission statement" . |

Good point. It would give some "gauge" of the value of all coins and give it a peg of some sort. At least some sort of guide to go by. |

The way I look at as a "dev" you don't have to like the other coins as I know there has been tension between all coins , but at the end of the day if you are getting organizations to talk about Cannabis Crypto currency at their events its a win-win on all fronts! This might actually ease tension between everyone also bring all communities together to be able to make sense of what they want both on marketing front and technological front. |

If you combine all the marijuana coins communities and devs, it would end up being the #2 cryptocoin behind bitcoin.

We work diligently on making real world use of CannabisCoin and have successfully completed accomplishments that the altcoin industry has never before seen from any other coin.
This is because community support, strong industry backing, and long term vision. We've opened the eyes of many whom have experienced REAL history in the making.
The CANN team and I have always embraced other 'related' coins up until unfortunate inappropriate actions taken by these same 'related' coin teams.
The behavior and unprofessionalism have effectively lowered the public confidence in cryptocurrency and the cannabis industry as a whole.
For that reason, We will continue our movement because it directly benefits REAL patients and the cannabis industry as a whole.

Great to see DeltaNine pop in here. Always been a big fan of CANN ( got me some CANN ) . I believe the goal of 420 Alliance Joint Force ( to be named something else I bet ) would be to bring awareness to Cannabis Industry to crypto currency as a whole. As a dev. of a Cannabis coin I think it would be great to have a few rep's from each coin to sit on a board to help improve this message. I think a website would be great to be put up ( if anyone wants to help I can supply a domain name ) and start the process of establishing "real world" connections w/ people in this industry. The site would be neutral ( no logos of coins etc,etc ) just names of reps of each coin. We can offer membership levels for each coin userbase to help support the cause. An agenda would be established to figure out who to reach out to in the industry / Promotions etc,etc and set a budget accordingly. I think if this is established ( 1,000 members ) would only help raise the Cannabis coins legitimacy overall. Thoughts ? edit: think of some names for this org. and we can vote. edi 2: Jyri - you might already have someone interested in helping let me know! |

There is a man, Jorge Cervantes, he have a twitter https://twitter.com/JorgeCervantes with 12,7K followers, have a facebook page too but the most important, he have a youtube channel with many videos of cannabis, plantations videos, different crops, etc...a very wonderful channel. I wondered if perhaps could not contact him to propose a collaboration with Dope...some videos have more than 250K of visits. If we could get that man in his videos promocionase cart with Dope or simply to speak well in their tweets Dope would be a great promotion and engagement with the real world www.youtube.com/user/jorgecervantesmj/videos The videos are a show to see.
