What you see is what you get with with planets, they're small projected lights off of a mirrored dome and, they're the same as stars only they "wander". The Earth is obviously not a small projected light like a planet or a star, it's a flat and motionless physical plane covered by a dome. The Ptolemaic model is and has always been the correct one. Just for reference the Sun and Moon are also projected lights. |

To be fair, it truly is their belief, just like Jehovah's Witnesses believe what they believe. I respect their belief, with sometimes their arguments are strong - others being wacky in my eyes. I guess that a big question. People have all different kinds of religious beliefs. That's generally accepted in out society. Religious beliefs don't usually contradict science so much though. That's where this differs. Flat earthers believe and spread something that is contrary to science. They don't even have any other "doctrine". Maybe it would be less controversial even if they had a leader, who said God told him the earth is flat. Then at least they wouldn't be pretending that there's so much evidence. It would be more of a faith thing instead of blatantly misleading. Flat Earth doesn't contradict science or religion, you're just a chump who believes the lies, that or a shill. Everybody who researches flat Earth becomes a flat earther.  |

The story of creation that TPTB tells is not the truth. This false creationism or geology they teach where space rocks get together and fuse into molten lava that forms a spinning ball, and all rocks are from this space lava is ludicrous. Every rock was once alive and became fossilized in the mud during epic floods. They claim the magic force of gravity is driving their creation fantasy but it's unproven, gravity has no scientific proof. Objects fall because they are dense and an electrically polarized atmosphere pushes them down, it pushes everything down and makes things flat. You've seen giant whales, well I've seen giant men. The force pushing you down is not a constant and has allowed for giants to roam our not so distant past and these stone giants make up the Earth.  |

Let's take the facts as they are. We couldn't go to Mars TODAY if we wanted. NOT with the guarantee that everything goes 100% as expected unless you are expecting to fail. But just as many years ago they started to make boats from cutting trees in half and then making room for 1 or 2 people to cruise ships and yachts today, this is the journey that we have to take to make things possible. Little steps, including big and small mistakes to achieve the goal.
In a way becoming a multi-planetary species is necessary due to that our solar system is moving slow and pretty much will be eaten up in millions of years. Going to Mars is step 1 of many many many to prevent the loss of our species.

All those concepts of safety and 100% are maybe for public consumption, but things moving at huge rates of speed, going through pure vacuums, and entering planetary atmospheres hoping to slow down and land.... Those are dangerous things to do. The death rate from the Shuttle flights was what, 2%?     The idea of a hard vacuum next to a pressurized atmosphere without a barrier is ludicrous, what scientific proof do you have for outer space? |
