I have a question:

SEC just fined Kraken for $30 Million for offering "staking" services to users. And since exchange staking isn't really staking but just technically paying interest;
Do you think this will affect on services like freebitco.in that's also offering to pay interest for users holding their bitcoins in there? Or how would this be any different?

Technically speaking, FreeBitco.in is not a US based company and operates outside the jurisdiction of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This means that the SEC doesn't have regulatory authority over the platform.

Yep, it really looks bad. Add on that anonymous team and you get the recipe for a disaster.

Let's just hope it will be small scale one, the fact that they are not paying the promised share makes me think they haven't got enough money from "investors".

Well, they don't actually need real money because they pay their campaigners with the share of their own made-up tokens. But what blows my mind is that these tokens have any value at all on exchanges. I haven't checked the trading volume though.

Bitcoin allow you to open you new account after getting banned if you pay 10$ fees which i PAID.

No, it doesn't.

If you've been banned, starting a new account isn't allowed, unless it's for the purpose of appealing your ban in the Meta section. And the "evil point fees" you're talking about are just for your IP address - because it was linked to a user that got banned permanently. Basically, you can pay to have your IP address cleared, but the ban on your user account still stands.

1644  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [FULL]🔥COINSLOTTY🔥 Review Campaign – Rewards From $60 to $70🔥 on: February 09, 2023, 10:03:16 PM
Here is my review of Coinslotty (Live Casino Edition).
(Part 1)

At first look, Coinslotty casino has a good-looking and modern website design and an intuitive user interface that's easy to use. They've got a ton of games, like slots, table games, live games, instant win section… So I spent a good chunk of time just checking out all the different options.

Sign-up Process:

The registration process was quick and easy. No surprises there. I needed only to fill in a few fields, including my email address, a password, my preferred nickname, and the currency I wanted to use. After completing this process, I received a welcome message and was able to proceed with depositing funds into my account.

Deposit:

Even though you choose a preferred cryptocurrency during registration, we can easily add any other supported currency to your casino wallet. I chose Bitcoin, but BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, USDT and XRP are also available.

However, the casino doesn't offer any other means of payment. You can only deposit or withdraw your funds using one of the cryptocurrencies listed above. The deposit process is straightforward. After I've chosen my desired currency and made a deposit, my funds were credited instantly to my account balance and I could start playing immediately, which is a great thing. It’s also worth mentioning that the casino offers a 100% welcome bonus up to $100 on your first deposit.

General Experience:

The website is very user-friendly. It's easy to navigate, and it doesn't take long to learn how everything works. I was impressed with the selection of games. There were plenty of slots, table games and video poker and roulette to choose from. The games themselves are clearly labeled so that you can tell what type of game each one is and from which provider. Each game I played were all very well-designed, with crisp graphics and smooth animations that made it easy to enjoy the experience.

Since my review should be based on Live Casino games, I will go into more detail about a few specific games in the second part of the review.

Customer support:

The customer support team is available 24/7 via live chat. You can also find answers to common questions in the site's FAQ section, or send an e-mail directly to customer support from the site.

So far, I haven't needed to reach out to customer support, but I'll update my review if that changes down the line.

Overall, Coinslotty casino has been awesome so far! I've had a great time playing on their platform. In the next part of my review, I want to talk about some specific games and list all the things I liked (or didn't like) about the casino. Stay tuned!
1645  Other / Meta / Re: Account locked & banned (Hacked?) on: February 08, 2023, 05:39:19 PM
1. It's vanity address, as you can it's "1Kiara" which is just same with the account and i created it manually (not sure where i'm little bit forgot) and yes i'm still didn't know to recover my account back then. But after this case https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5221759.msg53734483#msg53734483

I nulled everything from my pc, even my old data including that vanity address private key didn't get back-up ed, i can send you my conversation with Binance team about hacked ethereum adress before (It's just for reference that i didn't making drama or excuse about nulled my pc). If i can, i will sign too today but yeah i can't it anymore. Little bit different with the "dhemasm" bitcoin address since i use third party wallet on blockchain.com

Ok, let's clear this up a bit. You claim that you lost everything from your computer, including the private key of your vanity BTC address on around January 30, 2020. However, you also claim that GabrielKiara account was hacked around June 14, 2018, which is a year and a half prior. I don't understand the connection between these two events. You had ample time to recover your account before the claimed loss of the private key.

I also lose email access that linked with the account, so not sure how

That's a lie. You have repeatedly given advice to other members on how to recover their lost accounts using a staked address. [reference: 1, 2, 3]

For this one i'm not denied it, it's just 3 months after i joined the forum and yeah i'm not yet understand the whole rules back then. Yeap i have an intention to buy an account back then, i mean i'm just graduating from the highschool and found some place to earn money some money while discussing and learning some stuff with fellow crypto, so why not?

But overtime i see some stuff and rules on the forum so i discouraged my intention to buy it and as you can see i'm creating "GabrielKiara" and this account if something harmful was happens just like today. About "bought" phrase it just some reference price on the local facebook bitcointalk forum here https://www.facebook.com/groups/1557899881188998 you can check it yourself. Yeah, it's my fault too and breaking the rules but i'm truly didn't buy anything, but it's up to you to trust me or not Smiley.

So, you are admitting that you had the intention of buying accounts, but lied about actually buying one? And now, you expect us to blindly trust your word?  Cheesy

Hmm, for this one yeah it's my mistake but it's bit tricky. First, i didn't use that merit for joining, farming on some bounty campaign, selling account or anything. The simple explanation is
1. You can't send image when it's newbie and i actively engaging with other people back then, so that the first reason why exchange merit with that account since it's still newbie back then when the merit implemented
2. You can't send link when it's newbie and i actively engaging with other people back then, that the second reason.

Yeah it's not allowed to exchange merit with my own account but that's my reason, why i use second account to engage other? the reason is a little bit stupid. I like "GabrielKiara" name rather than "dhemasm" so i try to focus on that account but yeah it's get hacked, but it's up to you to trust me or not Smiley.

And that's another lie. The first merit exchange between those accounts took place on January 27, 2018, with both accounts having the Member or Full Member rank at the time.

Proof:
Bitcointalk name: dhemasm
Bitcointalk account URL: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1049524
Rank: Full Member

source: web.archive.org (28 Nov 2017)

And dude i'm not evading the ban, the reason was on the first post, it's said that my account was hacked and used for creating malicious ANN. I mean i'm not dumb enough if i want to farm the bct account and sell or using it for bounty but using same name with my personal Steemit and Twitter was same with Gabrielkiara and this account.

Your alt account GabrielKiara has been banned since July 6, 2019 and you are evading the ban by using other accounts. You haven't offered any credible proof of a hack. Additionally, I have easily challenged the explanations you have given so far with verifiable evidence.

Well, it's ok if i didn't get back my account i just want to share a clarification here, cheers

If you truly wish to do so, it's best to stop lying to begin with.  Wink
1646  Other / Meta / Re: Account locked & banned (Hacked?) on: February 08, 2023, 01:48:45 PM
What about GabrielKiara? Is that also one of your "old" accounts?

Yes it was mine back then, but yeah it's hacked too. See the BPIP here https://bpip.org/Profile?id=1142749, someone just changed it back then,i can't recover it and yeah it was gone.

It's interesting that your accounts are frequently hacked. Have you not learned anything from your past mistakes? Also, can you think of any way to prove that your account was actually hacked before it was banned? You never mentioned it before today. Why didn't you try to recover it back then? You had staked BTC addresses for both your accounts.

Also it's not created for some farming account for something like bounty or anything, you can trace my profile and that account before it's get hacked if you want. I'm just making alt-account for something like this if something happens just like today. Cheers!

I seriously doubt your claim, given that you have repeatedly expressed your intention to buy BTT accounts and have even openly admitted to doing so.

Btw, it's too expensive, bro, I bought a full member yesterday, only 850.

So, how many more accounts have you bought or farmed?

PS: you can see some information on BPIP and the registration date for some reference Smiley

Yes, I checked the BPIP.org data as well. Not only did you evade the ban, but you also engaged in exchanging merits between your alt accounts.

tranthidung specifically stated that he is not managing that campaign, and that all communication between the company and the participants will be done via email. Have you sent an email to the company?
He also stated that person in charge of campaign is "Adam Anderson" and he shared his LinkedIn profile (https://www.linkedin.com/in/adam-anderson-717b78214/) and its pretty obvious that he uses stock photo for his profile image which is not a good sign. Its also weird that the only way to contact person in charge of the campaign is via his Linkedin profile and not Telegram.

That's true. However, I still think it's smart to take a closer look before jumping into such campaigns. I mean, the fact that the project highlights "Mining ecosystem built on the metaverse" and uses the name of a previously established project as its selling points are enough red flags for me. Personally, I would never promote or in any way participate in such a project. Unfortunately, many bounty hunters don't really do their research before signing up for these things, and then they complain afterwards.

Our legend, the coach of all coaches, Miroslav Ćiro Blažević, passed away a day before his 88th birthday after a long battle with cancer. He will always be remembered as the man who initiated our journey with our golden generation and winning our first ever medal at the '98 World Cup in France.

According to the latest message from the Telegram group, token distribution was set to start on February 5th. It is now February 8th. I don't see what the problem is. Minor delays in token distribution by the team should not be a reason for alarm.

Also, did you read the disclaimer at the end of the bounty campaign post? tranthidung specifically stated that he is not managing that campaign, and that all communication between the company and the participants will be done via email. Have you sent an email to the company?
1651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful with saxydev; he is a scammer on: February 07, 2023, 03:47:16 PM
Just fyi, he did not send any link regarding my service. The link he had sent, contains not daily updated databases, and for TRX, myself I charge 0$, just 4$ for a monthly subscription on BTC. (it's a different service than our agreement (if you still believe i had an agreement with him)).

So I have not broken any contract yet. just saying

FYI, such terms were never specified in your original agreement. Allow me to quote you:

Dude, there is not such a service for free anywhere. What are you even talking about? You can try a lifetime pointing me to a free service. There is none.

So, you see, you ambiguously stated that "there is no such a service for free anywhere", without specifying its required features or that it must be an exact copy of yours. The word 'such' in this context is a pronoun used to describe a thing of a similar type or category as something previously mentioned.

As I see it, dkbit98 successfully proved that there is such a service for free after you accept the deal.  Wink

Despite everything, I still think it's highly unfair to have a tag (even though I'm neutral) raising the suspicion that I'm making low-quality posts, just to meet campaign objectives. This doesn't make any sense, when I make more than 70 posts a week. Give my share, I did everything I could. Each draw their own conclusions.

Well, I can see where the "incoherent" part of the neutral tag on your profile is coming from.  Cool

I understand that not everyone is proficient in English. However, it's fair to say that some members may find it challenging to read your posts and may have trouble deciphering your messages. This can be a common issue when using translation tools like Google Translate (I don't know if that's actually the case here, but that's what it looks like).

Keep in mind, while you may be a top-notch poster in your local community, that same level of recognition may not extend to the English section of the forum. If I were you, I'd definitely brush up on my English skills or check out some resources that can help me with better syntax and grammar in my posts.
1655  Other / Meta / Re: Use Of Multiple Accounts on: February 06, 2023, 11:34:55 AM
I've seen many Accounts with negative trust on this forum. When I checked I discovered their offence was the use of Multiple Accounts.

Having multiple accounts is not an offense by itself on this forum. If you encounter a negative trust rating with such an explanation, it is a sign of misuse of the trust system. (I honestly didn't notice such trust ratings from DT members based on multiaccounting. Perhaps you have some example to show?)

My question is
Why do people use Multiple Accounts?
Does it mean that one Account is not enough to post on this forum?

People use multiple accounts on online forums for different reasons, and there is no one-size-fits-all explanation. Some use it to maintain anonymity, others to express varying opinions, and some just for the enjoyment of having multiple online identities. The motivations behind this usage can vary greatly from person to person.

1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the origins of provably fair technology in gambling? on: February 06, 2023, 08:59:45 AM
I cannot find anything of use on my net search about the history of provably fair. The application of the tech probably started or was made popular by crypto gambling platforms. Traditional casinos only has tools to "prove" randomness like an RNG Certificate but never heard of any player having the means to verify the result.

Yes. The concept of 'provably fair' technology in gambling can be traced back to the rise of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. When Bitcoin came around in 2009, it brought a new level of transparency and trust to financial transactions. And that's what got people thinking, "Hey, why not use this technology to make online gambling fair too?" This, in turn, inspired the idea of using cryptographic algorithms to ensure fairness in online gambling.

Blockchain was mentioned, so obviously, these words started in the crypto world. And it simply means that results are verifiable in the blockchain, without a blockchain it cannot be called a Provably fair game.

Your first sentence is logically flawed. Merely mentioning something does not necessarily make it a reliable fact to base a conclusion on. Also, I have to correct you on your second statement. While 'provably fair' technology may use similar methods to blockchain, like cryptography, it doesn't necessarily mean it requires blockchain to be considered valid. There are numerous examples of online casinos that have adopted 'provably fair' methods that don't involve blockchain or cryptocurrencies in any way.
1658  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Street Selfie? Why all these crazy requirements in the name of KYC verification? on: February 06, 2023, 08:09:59 AM
So if you are going to sign up under these terms, then there is no point getting angry when they are enforced. It's your fault and your fault alone for not reading them before you deposited.
Technically, that's probably true. But morally, I don't like it. If I'd have to read through everything I have to agree to on a daily basis, I don't have time left for anything else. Cookie messages alone can be many pages, terms and conditions are easily tens or even hundreds of pages. Most people just click "accept" without even reading them, and I can't really blame them.

Personally, I find the notion of having to constantly agree to lengthy terms and conditions and cookie notifications quite frustrating. It seems that every website or app is like, "Hey, check out these 10 pages of fine print before you use us." Who's got the time for that? The truth is, most people don't have the patience to read through all of these agreements, and as a result, they often click "accept" without truly understanding what they are agreeing to. This is a concerning issue as it raises questions about privacy, data protection, and informed consent. In my opinion, there needs to be a better solution that balances the need for legal protection with the rights and interests of the user.
