Another point is that an invoice would be good (and is necessary by law)
F-ing Germans.  Nobody has time to set-up a fully legal operation - bitcoin is moving too fast to worry about details.
Really? For that ammout? You are complete jurk for sure. I wish you your miner to stuck in customs forever because it lacks the fucking invoice. We do not care if it is boitcoins or whatever. No one is bigger than reqiremens and the fuckin law

Sometimes laws are stupid though...
Yes they are and we are victims of that stupidity due to lack of the fucking invoice.

todo

* finish cgminer nanofury support
* add cgminer monitor script - done
* stay in sync with official cgminer git and build fresh openwrt images - synced
* add auto frequency adjustment support avalon-auto style - canceled
* add configuration options (voltage and clock) per board based on HEX16A serial number - canceled

HEX16A(Avalon1): Best results 7.4-7.7 Gh/s (16 chips) in terms of stability and clocking are observed at 1460mV core voltage + 480 MHz Clock.

HEX16B(Bitfury): Best results 44.5-45 Gh/s (16 chips) in terms of stability and clocking are observed at 900mV core voltage + 540 Clock.
Do not go above 540 it is not working!

HEX16C(Avalon2): To be tested with 10 chips - 1100mV core voltage + 1500 MHz Clock.

And no more OFF boards or at least less often  Wink

What about his nervs wasted to DEAL withIDIOTS LIKE YOU?IF I WAS IN HIS SHOES I WOULD SCREW YOU OVER FOR SURE
The truth is that Marto has cheapest products working like charm. And everybody else have delays. No exceptions I repeat everybody! I do not like it either but life sucks and we have to live with that

frankly I think he can't build a lot got big money for the ones  that he auctioned on ebay and thinks he can sell them here at a high price. Thus not have to risk ebay returns.

I would not send him 1/1000 of a btc until at least one or 2 of his ebay sales post a feedback.   I wish him luck with his sales .

another small guy with a good product trying to max his profit.

oh well another chance lost to make money.

He may get tired of selling one at a time and be willing to sell to re-sellers in quantity at a decent price.
I also know another guy that is a week or so away from finishing a 2 chip prototype.  So he will have competition in a month or so.

I wouldn't buy from this guy for a number of reasons.

1. OP communication is poor...he doesn't bother to answer questions here
2. 0.55 btc  = 400+ usd - that is a price for the ebay not for the community on here
3. I can buy 2 blue/red furies for $300 usd.
4. He changes the prices as he likes
5. Bitfury chips cost $19 usd each.

I personally do hope he lowers the price significantly after taking profit at current levels

If he can sell at that price, let him.  Don't complain about it... just step aside.  If not, he will have to lower his prices... just wait.
+1 but there are a lot of crazy people out there. And when that time comes this sticks will be useless for making money

@ the moment I have production issues to work on .

It was a decision made in the group buy that we could choose to get our fee's back or not for the not successful group buy. Instead of just paying it in one simple transaction back you told fee returning will be 25 days later ... know body knows why ... then after 25 days ... nothing..... then you say we should take patience for an other 5-10 days .... nothing happens .... and now what its good will? It isn't ... pay your debts from previous deals before starting new ones ...

Hey,
We heard you I. Will you be so kind to stop screaming here? It is hexB thread and is offtopik. Spam your group buy thread mails pm or whatever. Will you?
I do not care about your group buy at all. Share some valuable info about hexb or keep silent

SPOBI.

I've been mining since July on the cambrionix and an old antec psu.  My erupter hub has been fine from day 1 on a new psu rated for the right 5v load.

OP.  Ubuntu primer is everywhere.  Google headless Ubuntu cgminer.
Hey,
Would you be so kind to tell me how is the load at 5V in terms of amps and how many USB's are plugged?
10X

My cambrionix runs 48 erupters on antec true480 rated 5v@36 amps.

Block erupter hub runs 44 usbs on a new logisys 550 5v@38amps.

Spare is a sparkle 450 5v@30amps good for about 36 erupters.
Thanks for the info!
That hub must be very well build to stand 20+Amps. Thick paths inside

the thing regarding prices is how everyone sees it. Those who are going to buy btc to buy these items of course is very expensive. They are not going to buy 1 btc for EU 600 to pay for an item  Euro 187 by giving half btc(in the end giving 300+ Euro instead of 187). For users who already have mined btcs then there in no problem.
WTF?! 1 BTC is 1 BTC, doesn't matter if you have them already or not.
No matter how you make your math you will lose BTC or cache at this price for sure

The only thing that matters for me to make me bite is delivery time. Price always matters of course but imagine that your KNC order got delayed for week or two. It may turn out that something delivered on time will be cheaper even if paid with 20% extra
The real world knows that ASICs are a ripoff compared to the amount of electronics that actually in them. They only reason people put up with the prices are that the expect ROI. Add 20% and you blow that.

True but remeber this things are expensive manly because ASIC chips price. And below all inexpensive components inside - PCB there is a lot of manpower to make things work and know how also. And as we all know it is not free. i am sure that you can have this product at much lower price BUT WITHOUT software PIC and Mining what about that? You do not need it of course but it is cheap. We are here for the ROI including me. What i have stated always that there should be compromise between our profit and Vendor profit. i think that marto is doing just fine. I do not care about his math as long as my math sais OK go and by it that is all.
The margin on the ASIC chip is massive. Only the first batch has the one time  R&D costs. ASICs have less complicated circuitry than most dirt cheap consumer electronics chips.

And that is not a producer fault. he is paying that price upfront in cash with own money taking all the risks alone

For all of you who seek for beeter price i may suggest the following
1. Get your chips group buy or whatever at least 1 real With your money paid upfront BTC Cash or whatever
2. Negotiate the price with your money invested and chips in hand
3. Send them to marto
4. Get cheap product delivered at once only one place one shipment
5. Split it between all the people involved

I also got mine Grin!

They hashing together with my HEX16A @920 mV ... about 46GHs each.

They are very well build and came very well packed.

Very good product if you ask me  Wink.

I only the price could be a 'bit' lower  Lips sealed

Yeah, the price would have been good 2-3mths ago when the diff was much lower, but it's out of touch now. New stuff is below $10US per GH/s. Bitmine, Cointerra, and Black Arrow are all below $5 per GH/s.

I would only compare to another manufacturer that is producing like KnCminer..

A bulk purchaser would be able to afford the KnC units (currently taking expressions of interest again)...

275Gh/s KnC Jupiter $2995 = 6 x 45Gh/s Hex16B = $3732 (extra +24.6% $/GH)

550Gh/s KnC Saturn $4995 = 12 x 45Gh/s Hex16B = $7464 (extra +49.4% $/GH)

Maybe you could look at a better offer on your bulk purchase discount?

2% off for 5x units would not be enough to make me bite on a big order.
The only thing that matters for me to make me bite is delivery time. Price always matters of course but imagine that your KNC order got delayed for week or two. It may turn out that something delivered on time will be cheaper even if paid with 20% extra
PS: Do you really think that 8-16 boards is a volume order anyway?

What about a real or two of chips that is a volume
1657  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bi•Fury | 5+ GH/s USB Miner [FASTEST USB MINER IN THE WORLD] on: November 22, 2013, 11:18:57 AM

Everyone ASIC dealer out there is reducing there pricing almost every diff change to try and give customer half a chance to meet ROI and you increase price by 50%?

umm... you are a bit behind. Since the exchange rate went up people are raising prices. about 2 weeks ago i got 2 Blue furys for US$125 each on eBay. now they are going for between $200-$400, on eBay. The price of everything has gone up this week. USB ASICminer Block Erupters that were going for $10 -$15 are now between $20 - $30.

If you don't want to pay the price, don't, but currently it seems to be a seller's market.
It is up to us if it is a seller market or not. Demand and supply have to meet somewhere. If we are stupid enough to pay high it is our fault only. And note it is pain in the ass to make this things mine in quantities Smiley Hubs 5V power and that kind of nasty stuff Smiley And a lot of zombies of course
Someone has to design special cooling for usb cables also Smiley
How much in terms of amps does this thing consumes?
This thing is a toy for someone to get familiar with mining that is all. And it is expensive toy for sure.

I do not have the guts to try it, but if you feel ok with it i am wandering what will happen at 960 mV. burnin broads got 50 Gh (--bitburner-fury-voltage 960). And what will be the power consumption  Huh
What i know that HEX16B power is enough but what bothers me if Fury chips can take it
1659  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 49 Port Block Erupter USB Hub Problems on: November 22, 2013, 08:05:12 AM
It looks like these 49 Port Block Erupter USB Hubs don't work right...or at least it does not work like a regular USB hub.

Two main problems:
1. When powering up the hub the switching power supply doesn't seem to sense the load and the hub doesn't power up.
2. When plugging the hub into the computer the USB sticks do not get detected until you unplug all of them and then plug them back in one by one.

So if there is a power outage this would be the procedure:
1. Unplug the USB cable from the computer
2. Fiddle with the power switch on the power supply until the hub powers up
3. Remove all the BE sticks from the hub
4. Reboot the computer
5. Plug the USB cable into the computer
6. Insert the BE sticks into the hub one by one

I am not sure what designer would spec a USB hub to work this way but it is definitely not nominal.

I have tried it on 2 computers with exactly the same results.

Anyone willing to comment on their experiences with these hubs would be appreciated.

Hedghog

Hey,
powering 49 USb sticks 5V from single psu is madness. It will never work. Have you calculated how much Amps/5V do you need Huh If you PSU can take them at all before magic smoke comes out (in case you use your PSU to power the hub)?

What i can tell you in general

Minimize/split your setup like this

Single mining host + USB hub + single PSU all to share a common ground from PSU (5V for hub power shall come from PSU also). Do your math and see how many USB sticks in terms of amps can your PSU take. If i were you i would measure 5V load with single usb stick mining.  Leave at least 15% spare on 5V rail.  Never use external power for your hubs. Never! In general split you setup in small parts and never ever use a hub which can not be powered from single PSU

Just an advise
PS: i am not mentioning the fact that hub paths are thin and it can explode due to high amperage Lips sealed

Have in mind that PSU is designed to provide AMPs from 12V rail not from 5V unfortunately. And if you use cheap PSU it may turn out that due to high 5V load especially on start up (that is why you need to plug them one by one probably) when all usb sticks are plugged you got 20-30V (even more) instead of 12 on 12V rail. so It will be a good idea to measure 12V rail before you plug anything in it

In general if you want more hashing power go for a 12V miner that is all

With 880mV i get a little over 42GH/s. Doesn't seem to get too hot on any part, which is nice. I suppose the --hexminer-option is like 16:540? I'll tune it more tomorrow, for now i'l just let it mine.
Yes that is correct. Try it with 900 mV if you want of course for 45 gh

900mV and freq 540 got me nearly 47GH/s  Smiley.

I wish my original Bitfury H-boards would go this far, but the regulator is not up to the task. One does over 40G with 0.84V but speed tanks soon when regulator overloads...
Nice Cheesy You can observe spikes above 50 Gh but It will level to 45-46 avarage after a day or two Cry
HEX 16B uses same power as hex16A as far as i know. Having that in mind we have enough for spare at least 50% of what HEX16A uses clocked
The only question left is how much fury chips can take Huh

I wish my original Bitfury H-boards would go this far.....
