1641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: June 23, 2022, 07:46:11 PM
yes it can be safe and can not, why is that? because it all depends on the manager who manages if he is honest, of course it is safe if not then the opposite
Manager has nothing to do with the campaign unless if they are part of the team but most of the time it is really been handled out by reputable bounty manager of this forum which we could say that
they are just handling out the campaign and has nothing to do with payments. Safety wont really be that guaranteed yet we know that projects could really not able to pay those
bounty hunters if they do really have that kind of intent in the first place. This is why its really suggested to make out some research first before making any step forward
or deal  with bounties on which you could really have at least the chance on earning out of your effort and time spent on doing those bounty task.
1642  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 22, 2022, 09:13:09 PM
Many crypto casinos don't require KYC, but they aren't among the most popular sites, consequently I can't say with assurance how safe and legit it is to play on them, except freebitco.in that is constantly active on this forum, runs a signature campaign, is working since 2013 without issues and has millions of users on the website.
It makes me believe it might be a good option for you, although there isn't variety of games and the house edge is superior to another gambling sites. You may take advantage of the promotions that are launched every few days, though. Check their twitter for recent updates.

That was indeed the case in the past, when you could gamble at almost every crypto casino without complying with the KYC rules. Unfortunately, the rules are now stricter. I think you can only get out of KYC if you join a betting site based in Costa Rica. If you play at Curacao, Malta or UK commission you can set your own schedule to be subject to the KYC sooner or later. But, there are exceptions of course for gambling sites that do not ask this.
Basing on the current situation here on crypto gambling space then majority of sites or platforms doesn't really ask out for some verification aside from Roobet or others which do ask out some light kyc but still not really that appealing for most people who do really value anonymity but basing on the number of sites available today then we could still have lots of options to take but expect those things in upcoming years where everything will be more strict since these platforms are centralized.
1643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Crossed 20k USD!! Don’t lose hope now. on: June 22, 2022, 12:06:30 PM
So Bitcoins have started recovering as we can see from the charts.
Yesterday Bitcoins were at 17k USD and now currently it has crossed 20k USD. It’s now at around 20,800 USD and it’s still increasing.
It’s not yet late to buy the Bitcoins, those have panicked and sold their Bitcoins, now it’s time again to buy it.
Don’t know whether it’s the end of the bear market or not, but still the price have given us the Bitcoin traders a great hope.
Hope soon Bitcoin recovers it’s price, and we all will end up with great profits.
What are your thoughts on this?
Really hard to tell whether it's already reversal or some sort of fake pullback or recovery and this had been always the hardest part when it comes to price prediction on which you can't really  tell on where it would be going that's why making buying or selling decisions is really that hard and that what makes it challenging when you do step your foot into crypto where this is a never ending guess of price neither you do make out the right call or decisions or not.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 22, 2022, 09:57:46 AM
.....
as well as Kyrie already played with Lebron in Cleveland and they get along.
Did they not split because Kyrie was unhappy being with Lebron after they lost the championship? Sure they patched up their relationship off the court but that doesn't really mean they can play together again and do well. Kyrie will probably the dominant Alpha on that Lakers team if the trade happens and I'm not sure if an aging Lebron would be happy about that.

Kyrie left because he wants to be the main man on the Cavs team, he went to Boston thinking he could be the main man over there, but no, Brown and Tatum has already been 2 of the best Boston by the time. Kyrie had an attitude problem, If he have overcome that character and became matured enough to win another ring, I guess LeBron and him could get along well again just like how they bear the 73-9 GSW.
And, it does really make sense if the Lakers would trader Davis coz he is most likely to get injured again and miss more than half of the season. worse the whole season.

Lakers management needs to review all the possibilities before signing or trading anyone,

the league is no longer the same super team is not composed of paper players but those role players which mostly undrafted
or just come out from nowhere but provide decent performances.

In terms of trading Davis, it's wise for the team to let him go while he still has a big value. Let LeBron finished his contract
and whatever decision he wants after letting him decide.
This is what I do observe too on which there are not so popular  players but when tied up with super stars then they do really shine or having that good player development which do really able to play their role well which do really contribute in overall performance of the team.We don't need about being powerhouse team and we've seen the results for this one which is something not really that good to look at or doesn't really able to reach into finals or have end up on bad standing
That's why they should really be that mindful on picking when new drafts or roster kicks in.
1645  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: June 22, 2022, 07:49:43 AM
Apparently, the sideways market broke down not out. Are we in a "now what" situation? Or do you think this is as far down as it goes? Even the week chart looks bad for BTC. Any suggestions what to do?
BTC price fluctuation is something that is common and as an investor, enthusiast or trader, prepare for such situations. I will not want to be the harbinger of doom, but looking at the market cap, BTC is still falling( 20,426.18) as at writing. What to do? A little exercise of patience will be needed as even tho it's going down, it definitely will push back up.

The thing that makes us interested in bitcoin is high price fluctuations, if we want low price fluctuations then we can choose forex trading, I have traded in forex and the price changes are only 2% in a month, so cryptocurrencies are suitable for daily trading
People should realize that because crypto market did really get famous because of its price volatility and we should really be that get used to huge price swings or in huge percentage which is really that a normal day here on this space unlike forex or stocks which is totally different I would say basing on my own personal experience. So risk factor is indeed high for this one and it's up to someone whether they could bare the risk or not because not all are getting used to with these movements so make yourself better prepared because emotions and psychological aspect would be mainly played on.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 21, 2022, 10:08:01 PM
Gamblers around the world use crypto and bitcoin to play the bets. Do they really care if the bitcoin prices dump hard? I know traders are directly impacted by this dump, and investors are also in panic but what about gamblers. Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?
Gamblers also spend their winnings on valuable things so the price also affect. Gambling might not seem to be an investment in the eyes of strict people and non-gamblers but in real sense it might be considered as one, although in a reserved context. But be what it may the price dump also affect them both the bettor and the house because as price keeps falling the value of their wins sinks with it.
Gamblers doesn't really mind off about investment and on the money that they are spending on gambling which does mean that they don't really care on what's the market price or movement and whenever they do have that investment then it would be a separate thing and they won't really be including it into those funds that had been used on gambling because it was really intended to be used on that part and not really tending to go overboard but this one is situational because not all people would be having the control into various things.
1647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 21, 2022, 07:07:49 PM
When I invest from 2015 to 2017 I got a profit that I thought was big, unfortunately the end of 2018 market drop and I left Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, back a year ago because it saw the fact that Bitcoin reached more than $ 50k, if viewed from the data it took 2 Years to recover, and it looks like the trend will repeat in 2022.
Speaking with history and past events then we couldn't really tell on what would really gonna happen on which it can't really be sure that there's something that will really be guaranteed or something a pattern but possibilities are always there. You can't know on where crashes and recoveries to happen which it is really that important that you shouldn't stick out on 1 probability but it's not bad to make out some back up plans out of those probability but still not 100% assured but you can't really earn if you won't risk.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 20, 2022, 11:37:15 PM
If only these so called mantras would work then every person on this planet would be a magician.
These are just coincidences which happen at times. We may think that the mantra worked for us but sooner or later it proves to be wrong.
We lose money and keep losing money trying to repeat the mantra over and over again.

It's just coincidence and that's why people do really believe that it is true or working and they do start to believe and would continue to make use of these things as long as they like but they would realize everything if gambling losses hits them hard then it's up to them whether they would be accepting the reality of luck or still keeps pushing that mantra or acts should work and that would really depend on someone's mindset and beliefs.
1649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: June 20, 2022, 10:30:40 PM
traders will know that it's time to buy altcoins, because I'm a trader too, and at the moment I actually bought 3 altcoins,
the first one was Algorand, the second I bought Verasity and the third one I bought Nervos, please this is not Financial advice, still have to DYOR  Grin
Telling other people doesn't mean it's a suggestion because any information that is available should always be considered by everyone when reading it, because in general I also bought three coins at this time, only the name is very different from what you mentioned. Bitcoin, Solana, Polkadot that's what I believe now so I bought it even though it wasn't based on advice from anyone else.
Listen to suggestions of other traders but do whatever you have planned, otherwise, in bad results you will blame the person suggested that choices. Choosing top altcoins and investing smartly shouldn't be hard but for low capitals investing in small altcoins can boost bankroll incredibly fast in the bull market season.
Yes, take reference from different traders and doing self analysis is good than just going on someone's suggetion. In my opinion when you've got the patience to make profit out of the Investment, it isn't a problem to go with a low cap coins that are in good rank on the coinmarketcap. The problem is with the users, because most of the time there is big expectation on the particular coin we invested to grow against the market. This won't happen, and maybe the luckiest will experience something like that.
Snipping out some ideas from others isn't really that a bad idea but relying on it fully isn't something that a good habit for you to follow or tolerate on.Nothing beats out when you do make your own analysis out of your knowledge and skills on finding good projects or something in related with investment decisions.

Altcoin investment was never been risk free since from the start on which it is really just normal on having that kind of behavior and movement which anyone could make out decisions something in related to this one.
1650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 20, 2022, 08:40:24 PM
Greed is part of human nature and as gambler we can't fight back with human emotions due to the urge to win on casino. The house edge of casino wins no matter what and whatever we do. Gambling should be for fun and we shouldn't lose more than we can afford to lose.
Primary rule when you are dealing with gambling is that never intent to make it as a source of income nor spending the amount which you can't afford to lose that's why it's really important to set out limitations so that you won't really be making yourself into big trouble.Winming is just a bonus and if you do really make yourself that too urging on playing then anticipate for some consequences when it comes to financial aspect.Gambling is fun but on the sense that you aren't affecting your finances then it should be fine.
1651  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin can solve poverty on: June 15, 2022, 11:36:11 PM
There is nothing special with a stable coin, especially to overcome poverty which has been a problem for the state for a long time, for the note that poverty is a natural law, it will never be lost even though the state gives evenly money to all its citizens, the best thing is to create a system that can make Citizens are more productive such as training and capital loans.
Livelihood programs and providing enough work for citizens to raise up themselves and able to survive and sustain on daily living.Dont mind or think about solving
poverty because this problem is a never ending one due to population increase where this is the main culprit on why things cant really be solved or ruled out.
POverty could only be solved out personally but talking as a whole or totally on worldwide scale then this is something that cant really be done.
Dont think about something that could solve out specially on Stablecoins.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 15, 2022, 10:12:47 PM
I see a couple of things to comment here.

To begin with, there are those who believe that if you get money in your account by mistake, you have the right to spend it. False. You have to pay it back.

The man in the story has all the appearance of being a problem gambler, and the saddest thing is that he spent what was originally intended for low-income households, but you can see at the end of the news that the authorities have sent them the money back without waiting for the man in the story to return it.

At least the story has had a happy ending, now the man has to pay back the money.
I agree, at least the townspeople still got the help they need. also, the man is being sued by the town(which I think is a good thing) despite him saying that he will pay back the money he gambled that was mistakenly sent to him.

anyway, it was kind of weird that the authorities took two weeks before they contacted him.

so i thought japanese people are all honest. but there will always be outliers. the man's action of spending it rather than look for the rightful owner, maybe owed to his gambling lifestyle. because he saw it as good opportunity to use, he never resorted to sending it back. but at least he is accepting the consequences of his actions. with this yet another gambling story, it shows that when you are deep in gambling, your decisions become out of logic, hence, why many people are not looking at gambling in a positive way.
Majority are honest specially on Japan where people known with that kind of trait but we know that not all would really be that honest on which there would be people would changed up on point
whenever they do encounter huge funds or money that they havent able to get or hand on their entire lives which it would really be a mixed emotion of using it or would return it to the rightful owner
but on this case he had made use of those funds for gambling and now he said that it wasnt his fault for those funds to be transferred into this account.
so he do still need to face up some consequences for this one.
1653  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 15, 2022, 09:38:34 PM
In general, this tool is quite useful for work. Moreover, I don’t think that it is seasonal - rather, you just need to use it on time.
There’s no such season for this since this is necessary every time you trade so you can save some money from losing it. Trading is very tricky, it requires a lot of work and perfect timing with a good plan and strategy, many forget on setting up their cut loss price and the result is negative for them. On this bear market, traders should be more wise since the bottom is yet to be seen and having no cut loss level might trapped you on a higher price.
Cut losses arent needed from time to time specially if you do go for long term on which you could simply hold your assets until recovery would happen and this is where others been doing. For stop losses it would really be just relevant if you do go short term trades or playing with the price movement where you do set some sl's basing into your position or on how much you could able to accept those loses.
In future or even on leverage these things would really be much needed or relevant thats why its up to someone on when and how they would really be using it basing
on what kind of trading they've been using on.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 15, 2022, 06:22:47 PM
In my own little experience in football betting, the odds are a pointer to the strength of the team and the weaker clubs are always given the highest odds so in most cases choosing a high odds to .bet is purely based on luck.
Bookmakers are doing business and its just normal that they would really be able to  differentiate which one is the favorites and which one is the underdog on where betting odds would
neither be low or high depending on certain team interest and preference on the community. Most of the time people do really stick on the money line even though its obviously those
odds arent really that great plus having those chances or odds of upsets which make things even more harder to go all in.There are some instances on which you could
consider on betting underdogs and this is where self analysis would vary into each bettor.
1655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT's are a bigger scam than LUNA/UST on: June 15, 2022, 05:15:38 PM
The actual content of the NFT, such as a piece of art, is rarely stored on the blockchain. The reason why the content (such as a JPG, MP3, or Gif) of the smart contract associated with the actual NFT is stored on the web and not the blockchain is because of the size and cost. So you don't really own a piece of art. You own a piece of metadata describing some art that is stored on a centralized server. Those servers will, inevitably, eventually go down, be hacked or bought out so the owners of an NFT will, in the long run, own nothing but some metadata pointing to a defunct site.
Maybe you are partially right. But how can an nft system be of trending if thats not gonna hold its current era right. Werent gonna stick on blockchain itself cause technology is evolving. These nft are created for a reason and not solely for scam I believe. We can say its a bigger problem if its a lot of issue happening than blockchain hindrances.

Most innovations are scam to some people until it becomes part of reality, something people actually interact with. Some nft projects may be scams but not all of them, especially not all the big companies who are joining nft and creating something unique, so I don't completely agree with @op as well.
There is no need to over exaggerate, crypto I'm general is full of scam projects but that does not mean there are no good ones that are created to make a difference.
Just like into those ICO days on where there are indeed projects which are really that legit but as expected that whatever trend that we are facing on then it would really be always be having that situation where scams becomes too rampant because there are people whom do really make out something just for them to make easy money by scamming out users on the same method.
This is why we should really be making ourselves to be that aware on what we are dealing off with and not would really be easily get along just because it was the main trend
because if you do make yourself having the behavior of not really like on missing out something then its likely you would really be facing some problems.
1656  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 14, 2022, 10:30:29 PM
Your strategy makes you rich. I earned good profits by investing during covid times in shares. I think same is true for crypto. Those who invested early in crypto are millionaires now. I am looking forward to invest in crypto,
I choose bitcoin and ETH as my safehouses for long term investments
Stick with BTC and some mix of those top altcoins in the market on which it could really give out that kind of assurance deep inside in terms of long term aspect on which people do usually sees off
about Bitcoin potential and some altcoins in the market. We are all hoping on becoming rich thats why we do really stick out into something which had been mainly supported by the community
but of course you shouldnt really exclude out the probabilities because anything could happen. In terms of opportunities then you should be wise on when to get in and
when to get out. Rinse and repeat and as long it do benefits or make profits then thats what matters.
1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 14, 2022, 09:10:31 PM
Just like Tony Bloom and others, it is possible that you can turn your hobby into a profitable business venture if you are confident of your skillsets. Have you ever considered a career in betting consultancy?
Definitely. This is not even new but only just popular if true it is popular. Just as there are people providing trading signals so are people providing sport predictions. But if someone believe these people, the person will only fail.

It is good to avoid anything like this.

I had a friend that was scammed this way in the past. It will be more of means to scam.

Being a betting consultant or tipster will require you to have concrete knowledge about gambling and you should show proof of constant winnings. It's also hard to convince people to trust you because several people have used this title to scam their clients. It's hard to please people nowadays and you should always have supporting proof to be a betting consultant.
People arent dumb on easily believing about these betting consultants or simply as tipsters is should say on where they would just carelessly follow.I cant deny that there are still people
whom do easily believe but majority doesnt really care about their existence if there's one.I dont see the relevance of its existence considering that we could play and make
bets on our come which do came from with our own analysis without the need of paying up someone just for them to do the job.Any consultation aspect or idea
will really be just fitting out with gambling addiction counseling but for making bets? I dont see for it to be that needed.
1658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: June 14, 2022, 08:31:34 PM
This is a bad luck for them.  Those who did not sell their holding coins at high prices. Looking at the condition of the market, it seems that there will be no market recovery this year.  It will take a long time for the market to recover. Which will create a bad experience for the holders.
It might be a opportunity to the others who likes to buy crypto at lower price. Its not the first tome bitcoin been too dip and altcoins usually follows the bear market whenever bitcoin dumps. The difference only now is there are other factors like recession , war and etc that affecting the price that may trigger to a much lower price and longer waiting time before it starts to recover and bounce back. Experienced traders were waiting for signals where the price may start its pump before they buy.
This is indeed an opportunity to buy cheap but to know that not all people would really be that confident on doing so because they would really be having that in mind into those what if's on where the
primary thing to have in mind is that on what would be the bottom? Is the market alright and wont become or goes to zero?  .. These questions are the most common thing in mind thats why
its not surprising that we would really be having different sentiments in times like these and knowing on what would be the next move is something that no one could answer.
All the thing we can do is to speculate and lets see if it would really be moving according into those speculations.
1659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Nearly Bailed Me Out on: June 13, 2022, 11:24:47 PM
I don't know if seed phrase that was screenshot by op was in his phone gallery or a private place in his phone. If the screenshot seed phrase was saved it in the gallery,  it was not in a safer place because anyone close to op phone and have access to his gallery and get information of the wallet.  Op took risk by not saving seed phrase properly.
Most of the time our phone is been security locked or does have pin or fingerprint even with family members then there's no way that could be accessed out but for the sake of safety and security
then it would be good if you would be creating something new and transfer those coins into that new wallet yet being paranoid for security isnt really that bad because we do have that kind of saying that
its better to be safe than sorry. Creating one wont really be that hard and doesnt really cost an arm and leg. Lucky for those people who had able to remember that they had something for a long time.
In my case, i might able to forget those things and i might had lost those screenshots.
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin Gambling on: June 13, 2022, 09:34:46 PM
Not to mention, Bitcoin being used on gambling sites is one of the many reasons that it flourished to what it is now. Of course there will be pros and cons on using bitcoin or other crypto on gambling sites, but I say it's on the individual to weigh that if it's convenient for them on using it or not. For me, I say it's more convenient but I try to limit it especially if it concerns my privacy.
Exactly, the adaption of bitcoin and other crypto being used as the main currency for gambling is one of the great thing why crypto is flourishing and prospering. Actually, other than security and anonymity of the users, there is no main pros for crypto gambling website differ in just a regular online casino. Anyways, the convenience it provides to us in the crypto industry to directly use our crypto to gamble is already to good for me.
When we interact and put our money inside an online gambling casino, that definitely already less secured and has less anonymity compared to when it was just on your wallet. I say the pros in it are just it's convenient for us to use directly and no need for middlemen just for us to be able to play in a casino.
Soo much convenience i would say if we do tend to compare it into those traditional aspect or ways on how we would able to play without any hardship
in speaking with anonymity and decentralized.Yes, there are some part which are totally some cons but not really that much or more worst when dealing with a fiat casino.
The only con's i would say is in attaching yourself with the addiction on playing gambling and i dont see any issues about putting yourself known
that you've been doing gambling. Its none of their business on how you would be spending up your funds.
