1641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: online sellers on: July 23, 2015, 04:27:50 AM
because this cause, better we use escrow at important transaction, my bro

no, you should use escrow on every transaction. just because the amount for the trade is small doesnt mean much, people have scammed on here for a single dollar, and it will happen again.
1642  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best way for earning bitcoins on: July 23, 2015, 04:06:50 AM
i think best way to earn bitcoin
trading and gambling ( if your luck)

gambling isnt earning, gambling is gambling. trading however, depends on how experienced you are. working is always the most reliable way to earn though Smiley
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 23, 2015, 03:34:35 AM
neither. I did lose moderate amount of btc by gambling but I don't gamble every day like few people do.
why do people get addicted to gambling, anyway?

because gambling is exciting; people love the momentary rush from risking their money, and the thrill of winning money for little to no effort get people hooked like nothing else.

After doing payment let me know will pay you or we can escrow.
And in case I default grtthegreat will pay you I think he can do that as I helped him little.

On what basis are you taking it for granted that I will surely help you ? And you helped me a little ? When ? Where ?

most likely talking about when your account was hacked, and then btcblogger helped you get it back, although i doubt there was actually a hacker, i think hilariousandco's suspicions on that incident were correct.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xscrypt.com - Premier Scrypt Cloud Mining Contracts on: July 23, 2015, 03:04:49 AM
This is a scam or not? Undecided

I guess so, as of now, no payments yet  Undecided

ill predict what happens: 1 unfortunate person makes a buy for a contract, the op comes back ad apologizes for being out of town, and promises to reschedule payments again with the money received from the one who bought the contract.
1646  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Dutyfree.io - Buy cheap cigarettes with Bitcoin on: July 23, 2015, 02:10:21 AM

1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream Adoption on: July 23, 2015, 01:54:08 AM
I think the bad reputation Bitcoin gets for the hackings and anonymity associated with it. Many people apart of the mainstream media believe Bitcoin is for criminals, possibly because of the rep the Deep Web gives it. Nonetheless, it takes education to teach the public that Bitcoin is more than that.

bitcoin gets a bad rep because thats what the media reports on; news focused on the negatives of bitcoin (silk road, scams, etc) get a lot more attention from the public compared to the good things bitcoin can bring. "decentralization" and "helping greece" just doesnt have the same impact as "drugs, hookers, hitmen, and black market."
1648  Economy / Services / Re: Make me a dadice bot on: July 23, 2015, 12:42:02 AM
What is the bot supposed to do Huh

And I don't even know if the DaDice API is complete at the moment
make betting faster, a few bets per second would be nice

the bot wont make your bets go faster just by being a bot, it also depends on dadice's api and how fast youre allowed to access it with said bot.
There are bots out there that do this, its just that i dont want those
are you saying you want some kind of magical bot that can place bets at whatever speed you want without accessing the api? you need to access the api to place bets, period.
1649  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am creating a primedice calculator. on: July 23, 2015, 12:33:55 AM
Well i understand if i'm going to sell it i wouldn't put over the price of 5$

I haven't found anything really useful and i'm looking into advancing it a lot , even calculating total EV but i need more ideas to know how to work it Smiley
http://www.statisticshowto.com/how-to-calculate-expected-value-in-statistics/
http://statistics.about.com/od/Formulas/a/What-Is-The-Formula-For-Expected-Value.htm

just do a google search... but the expected value wont really change, it will always be .99 with the house edge.

1651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING AN ACCOUNT on: July 23, 2015, 12:18:01 AM
I wanna buy an account and i wanna knw the kind of things i should watch out for when im buying a membership account on this forum

Something to consider if you want to buy an account are The Rank lever of tbe account at least Sr. Member, Post quality, and Trust level of the account also the price of the account you want to buy

you should also extensively search the account's posts and history once you know the name of the account to see if it is involved in any suspicious activity, scams, has any open loans, etc. for obvious reasons.

i dont think so anyone will tell you account username before the payment or deal because no one like and trust sold account and that is why escrow is must to buy the account you can ask the escrow to check the account for is it  involved in any suspicious activity, scams, has any open loans

actually, ive done a few account deals on here before, and every single time the seller has opted to inform me of the account's name at my request, sometimes before i even confirm that i will purchase the account.
1652  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am creating a primedice calculator. on: July 23, 2015, 12:14:39 AM
first off, primedice's edge is 1%, and theres not really any point to selling this, as this isnt that hard to code (could probably be done in under an hour with basic knowledge), and tools like this already exist. if someone could link said dice calculator tools here that'd be great.
1653  Economy / Services / Re: Make me a dadice bot on: July 23, 2015, 12:11:01 AM
thats a really low bounty; you get what you pay for and i dont think less than 3 dollars will get you anything here. there's more work to coding a bot than 10 minutes of sloppy work.
1654  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: July 23, 2015, 12:07:07 AM
What is the cost of Senior members rank account with a Green positive trust ratings with near about 400 activity points.

it would depend, with just the 400 activity alone, the account would be worth at least .35 imo, and the trust ratings would add substantially to the price, but it depends on the trust number you have on default settings.
1655  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dell Customer Service: "Bitcoin - is that some sort of wire transfer?" on: July 22, 2015, 11:25:03 PM
People are so fucking dumb it's painful.

its customer service, i wouldnt expect them to be too knowledgeable about technical stuff, half the stuff they do and say is scripted anyways. i would expect that dell started accepting bitcoin recently, and have not had the chance to thoroughly train their support staff on it.
1656  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anonymity for sending Bitcoin on: July 22, 2015, 10:40:14 PM
Coinbase would be a good choice for you, since it is easy to use/ to send and to receive.
Every time it generates new addresses.
Also when an exchange was hacked the coins were sent to a site which was accessible only by TOR network.
Cant remember the site name but it was something like bitcoin foggy or something like that.
Search a bit and i think you will find what you are requiring.
Good Luck

for bitcoin anonymity i would not recommend coinbase at all since it tracks how users spend their funds.
http://cointelegraph.com/news/113207/coinbase-is-tracking-how-users-spend-their-bitcoins
http://truthvoice.com/2015/05/coinbase-accused-of-tracking-bitcoin-users-notifying-cops-of-transactions/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2qmpp7/coinbase_is_tracking_how_users_spend_their/

in fact, i would really recommend against coinbase if you want to stay anonymous.

and the site youre thinking of is bitcoinfog, they have a clearnet portal, but to actually access their mixer services you must access them through TOR.

Well so i have never ever done or think about this until i saw this main post and was thinking how?
So i change my mind do something else and stay away from coinbase.

well aside from anonymity, copinbase is good for other uses; if youre an online merchant accepting bitcoin, i believe coinbase has a merchant tool to accept payments and convert them into fiat for you automatically, hence ensuring merchants dont lose out from bitcoin price volatility.

So the merchant that are accepting bitcoin seems a good chance for them, but can coinbase stop/hold the funds even in fiat currency after converting from bitcoin

of course they can, but not without a reason. i dont think there would be a reason for coinbase to hold the funds of legitimate merchants though, unless a dispute or a refund was requested. however, i dont know their policies on bitcoin refunds, so i cant say too much on the subject.
1657  Economy / Services / Re: (GAUGING INTEREST) A bitcoin Get-Paid-To site! (LOOKING FOR MEMBERS + INVESTORS) on: July 22, 2015, 10:30:13 PM
I've replied to all PMs as of now.  I know you investors are looking for numbers, but that's something we really can't provide until after the site launch.  Please note by then, the shares will definitely cost more.  If you want to invest PRE-LAUNCH, please PM me here.  The reason we do not want to provide estimate numbers is because well, there is a possibility that the numbers will be off and we don't really want that.

how much in BTC are you looking for from potential investors? i should have some spare BTC sometime next week and would like to get in on this project of yours. feel free to pm me.
1658  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scamc0p scammed me for 215$! on: July 22, 2015, 10:22:45 PM
Try to claim that it was an unauthorized transaction.  I believe that the money will immediately be taken from his account has paypal looks into it further.

Hopefully, although it is possible that he had you send it to a fake PayPal. If that is the case, the money might already be gone, as I'm sure he transferred it to his real account. In any case, file a dispute ASAP.

no, the balance on the fake paypal account would become negative in that case.
1659  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: July 22, 2015, 09:58:44 PM
signature campaign paid out today, so i got a nice ~0.4 BTC from that. hoping to buy some nice stuff here and there using this.
1660  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 22, 2015, 09:15:29 PM
Is there any campaigns you can reccomend for me?
I can post up to 100+ times a week, and prefer a rate at least 0.001 btc
Is there any that are open and fit this criteria?

Bit-X. but you have to wait for marco to review your post as he's doing it manually at the moment.
Coinut is also good.
Coinomat pays 0.001 btc per post for 100 posts max but they're closed at the moment. if you don't mind the 50 posts a week limit, there's the coinoindex (coinomat's side project) campaign which pays 0.001 per post.

there is also the playtodos campaign, which pays very well for high quality posters as deemed by carra. senior members get anywhere between 0.0011 and 0.0018 per post based on quality, up to 200 posts biweekly.
