1641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche [AVAX] can really get a famous platform for DeFi, store of value + NFT on: August 09, 2022, 03:26:00 PM
Avax has a great potential but you can go so far with just potential, they need to find a way to attract a ton of projects under their chain. I am not saying there are none, because there are a lot of them in small caps, but look at ethereum, there are literally tokens over a dozen of them in top 100 with ethereum blockchain.
Potential projects with me are in bear market, at bottom price, I consider them as potential ones for my portfolio. I don't care much about how their team will develop new technologies in future. It is not necessary for my decision. I don't speculate what they can achieve in future.

Price falls deep enough and is in accumulation phase that is where I will consider to participate in. I don't wait for their technology upgrades to take profit. Just news or whatever that can bring the price up, I will exit and it is enough for me.

I don't hold it too long and feel headache with it.
If you don't care about the coin's development then you are presenting yourself as a bad investor but you still have a taste despite that because you pick the coins which has a potential already. Those coins can recover and do better for some time but if they don't try hard and develop then their value can't go higher or there is a chance that they will collapse.

@el kaka what you mean is potential alone is not enough but they need to show that the people that choose them are right for choosing them. I wouldn't wonder why many top projects choose eth. It is because it's more secure and advanced so don't compare avax to it but avax can surely compete with other altcoins.
1642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you assess the value of Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2022, 08:55:42 AM
Hi all,

How do you (personally) decide when Bitcoins are a buy?
when I decided to buy bitcoin where when my finances were ready, like now I think it's the right time to pay for buying bitcoin in a month I set aside funds to buy bitcoin even though it's only 20$ but I'm sure when the market improves I can benefit from my investment
Yes of course, because you can't possibly buy a bitcoin without a money with you but first you gotta have them in your hands. Better if we buy btc once we still have a money and we shouldn't say that we will only invest later because we can use the money in other things which aren't that beneficial for you in the long run. Anyway, what you are doing there is called dca.

It's when someone allocates some money per month without really minding if what is the price of bitcoin is, because their only aim is to stack more bitcoin and then sell them one bitcoin reach a really high price like 100k or more. You shouldn't under estimate 20 usd but that's already a good amount and there are even some that invest lower than that.
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: August 08, 2022, 08:51:41 PM
Some form of promotion done by a casino/sports betting platform gives more visibility and trust. This trust can be seen even high when the promotion is done through a trusted manager of the community. When the participants were paid in their own gambling site account, these users will initially give a try and further spread the word if they feel satisfied with the performance.
The gambling casino's can hire trusted members here to start their signature campaign but i will not trust that the casino is a good one based on only this factor. For me, if a trusted campaign manager manages a gambling site campaign, i will be sure that the funds are escrowed and there will be no problem in the management of the campaign , however to trust the gambling site, we need the feedback from the players and their experience playing on the site.
This is true. Remember rose? A long time and trusted member here. He/she manage a new casino and then it turned out to be a scam later on. On your second sentence, you are saying that funds for the campaign must be escrowed by another member and not by a reputable manager?

Maybe that's better since not all trusted managers are clean but I think some are exposed here already that they are doing some shady acts in the background. Not all feedback are accurate so if I were you I will also try the gambling site myself and compare my reviews to the others but if we aren't totally sure on how to judge the site then waiting for more feedback can help.
1644  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: August 08, 2022, 08:33:13 PM
Perhaps, we don't know which I agree this might happen, but that was the worse scenario ever and when people are hopeless about Bitcoin. But as to see that the interest of the crowd is growing, adoption is increasing, and more development, it was very unlikely to see Bitcoin will fall that bad.
Well, optimistic people will keep positive about the future of Bitcoin but those who live in doubt will remain doubtful forever.
Bitcoin will definitely stay high now, and I do not think that it will drop that badly at all. People who think that there is a chance bitcoin drop badly are the people who do not trust bitcoin and not fully understand it. I personally do understand it and I think it is going to be doing just fine.

Yeah, there are some drops time to time but realize that all those big drops always comes after a huge increase. We were at around 7k at the start of 2020, and peaked at 68k during 2021, so what if we dropped to 18k at bottom? That's fine, it is still 2.5x bigger than where we were just 2 years ago, if you invested during that time, you should be fine. Just as you would be fine if you invest right now.
1645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 08, 2022, 08:18:08 PM
Let's just hope that this doesn't happen for Barcelona. Otherwise not much thing will chance for the La Liga. This would be like a hindrance ahead of them for reaching the title a little easier than before. Barcelona and Xavi must have already thought about this. I think they would solve this likely problem for this league. Because they must be targeting to be very successful in not only the Champions League but also the La Liga. They can't make simple mistakes now.
It will happen. Think about how much la liga would be hated as a management if they declined it, they would be losing a lot of teams a lot of money as well. Barcelona fighting for a title means that general la liga tv rights income will be higher, and when it is higher that means we are going to see every team get some money. Sure Real Madrid wouldn't want them to be good, but everyone else would want them to be good for sure.

This is why I do not think that it will change to any better or worse, I think they will be accepted into the team and registered, so that they will fight for a title and make the whole league even more fun to watch globally all around the world.
1646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador claim bitcoin attracts tourists right or wrong? on: August 08, 2022, 07:49:05 PM
There might be a boom in the tourism sector of El Salvador because of bitcoin being legal tender over there as people from across the globe wants to test this up like paying at street foods and big restaurants with just one scan and use of LN walllets.Frankly saying then btc has helped El Salvador recovered in many ways and making progress in economy section also as you see tourism boost foreign reserves of the country.
I think they didn't expect that this can happen. It's amazing how they benefit in bitcoin, not only from making their lives more easier but also from this.

If only some countries know this earlier then I think they will also rush to be the first that will make btc a legal tender but it's not too late yet because there are countries that are too far from El Salvador and even if people are itchy to visit them and try this new trend, they will doubt and end up not doing it but if there are countries that does the same thing and are closer to them then they will surely go for that instead to lessen the travel cost but it would be better if their own country join this trend too.
1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 08, 2022, 09:02:29 AM
Most especially new projects do you think its healthy to rush things up or take a lot of time and gradually release updates and follow roadmaps slowly? There are some complains that most projects aren't following the exact timing on their roadmap and some even takes this is Red Flag.
I think that the dates seen on the road maps are only an estimation but they can't be accurate. This is the reason why sometimes we are seeing delays and there are times when the development seems to be fast. It's hard to judge if you are only focusing on these things.

For me, as long as the team members are honest and dedicated for the success of their project, I will understand if there are delays but I will be glad if the developments are fast enough. I won't think negatively. For some, maybe they can see delays as a red flag and then when the developments are too fast, they think the teams are rushing their work and this affects the quality of the project.
1648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ravencoin - is there a future in this? on: August 07, 2022, 08:02:00 PM
There is one thing I know about ravencoin and that's the ability to follow bitcoin price as it moves up, so if you can get some ravencoin at 0.02$ or 0.03$ and bitcoin goes to 100k in future your ravencoin will also surge a lot, this is why I like ravencoin.
I think that wasn't a secret anymore. Bitcoin is the main controller of all cryptos in the market so whatever happens to its price, others can also follow with it. I do believe that btc can soon reach 100k so buying and then mining some raven coin is a good idea to do.

@OP that's a sad story, missing a good opportunity but don't worry because a lot of us here do also experience that but maybe not specifically in raven coin but on bitcoins and other top cryptos. All I can say is don't give up and don't down yourself too much because this wasn't the end. I think that raven coin isn't a bad coin like meme coins and other hyped coins so there's still a chance that it can recover and pump up.
1649  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: August 06, 2022, 11:21:39 AM
Having stable coins is not stability, imo. Their value is pegged to the value of a fiat currency and, especially in times like these, one can't certainly expect a sustainable purchasing power of fiat currencies. And, in fact, unlike Bitcoin, stable coins can only lose their real value with time. So, if by "stability" we mean constant losing of real value, then stable coins are stable in that sense. But who wants that stability?
People who do not know what else to do, pick stablecoins because they believe that they could end up making a bit of profit with it. First of all, even if you are from the USA, you could use stuff like USDT to make sure you are in liquidity providing, interests, staking and whatever else you want to find and that's how you make a big profit.

However, if you are not from the US, then you could be doing even better because not only you will profit that way, but you will profit because USD would go up against your own nation currency as well. I have been doing it, and I know the returns are little, but it is certainly a way to make profit and I am quite happy about it.
1650  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: August 05, 2022, 06:20:05 PM
most of the reasons why most people panic in the crypto world is the uncertainty about this future. As we all know, the world is now in an economic recession, even superpower countries are experiencing a recession, such as America and China, and some are even experiencing bankruptcy, such as Sri Rare. I think this is the main reason for the panic.
This is why it's advised to make a research before entering on this place as there are risks here but there are still hard people that keeps on rushing for the sake of profit and they can disregard even the most important aspects of crypto investing. There is an economic recession but I don't think this is the only one that is responsible for the dipping of the price so it's still possible for the cryptos to recover even if those issues are still there.

Also, time can come that all issues are going to be solved even for a certain period of time, so why worry too much? If only they can expand their views then they become more successful in here.
1651  Economy / Economics / Re: Too much talk about gaz food news talk too much on: August 05, 2022, 12:18:55 PM
Lets not focus on fake problems and one way not working you find the other way but dont complain and cry
If one shop dont have food i go other one then if shops stores ply this nonsense crisis game i go dorectly to farmers i dont take a part of those dull games.
Everyday we hear about putin bla bla blahhh food gas...c mon we are lions amd wolfes we dont care and dont cry about nothing.
If you are annoyed with it then simply ignore it but some people just can't because for them this is important to know if what are the situation of their country or in the whole world. Don't say that focus only on the money because money will still be useless if we don't solve those problems we talked about earlier.

There are still jobs you can find offline or online to get money but the purchasing power of your money can get lesser because of the increase of the price in the goods. I am sure you will still complain because of that fact. You're right, russia isn't only the one where we can get gas. That's why other countries that try to supply gas but the only problem is they are a bit pricey.
1652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Little tip discovered for instant exchanges on: August 04, 2022, 09:14:18 PM
That is, if you want your funds to be on the Tron blockchain or any other smart-contract blockchain in general in the first place lol.
No, you then convert from that cheaper coin to coin you came to exchange in first place.

Yesterday, wanted to convert 1 dot to hive. For this pair, minimum was 1.4 dot, so first converted 1 dot to tron (this pair had 0.6 dot minimum) and then tron to hive. Hope it's not confusing.
It's already confused some here. I think only a few who did this kind of minimum trade can understand. So it isn't about minimum fees to transfer your asset from the exchange but trying to find a 'bridge' that is even lower than the minimum amount in the direct pair.
At first it was indeed confusing but if you take time to read it and understand it again and again, you will eventually get what he was saying there. If I remember I think I already did that same strategy but only on different coins because I mostly deal with smaller amounts. This is time, effort and money consuming because of the left and right fees but it was worth it overall.

I only don't know if it's worth it to share this idea because I think this was too common already and many of us here already knows this trick. This can be done not only in instant exchanges or decentralized exchanges but also on centralized exchanges as well.
1653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is about to have its biggest monthly gain since October 2021. on: August 04, 2022, 08:38:12 PM
Every green monthly candle is a good thing but i am yet to see anything that says to me we are 100% out of the bear market. We’re still in a really tight, weakling price range between $19,000 - $25,000. Until we break out of this range we don’t know what’s going to happen. We can’t even break $25,000 at the moment.

I just think this is the usual bear market we have after a sustained bull market run. There isn’t anywhere near enough buying at the moment to confirm a change in sentiment.

Bear market until we break $30,000 again imo.
It can give us a good impression because we think the price is now ready to rise but like you said there are still some doubts if we can continue for the better or not because the past scenario's already give us a lesson to not get confident/excited too easily. This isn't 100% but I think this is only 10 percent for us to say that we are now out of the bear market. We already broke 19, 20, and 21k but the price is now staying at 22 and 23k levels.

Once we touch 24k then I believe that it will easily continue to 25k but that was only 25 to 30 percent of the "we are out of the bear market" meter, you are saying. I think 100 percent can still take a long time to happen.
1654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a stranger on: August 04, 2022, 08:15:05 PM
Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
This is why I don't like listening and believing to strangers because they can only lead you to dangers. Like for example the one that was said to you by a random person and I bet he also recommends you a specific coin for you to invest in. That was a common trick also known as shilling.

Those people are either devs of the coins they are promoting or they are being paid to do so and though it can be true that you can earn something if you got lucky that the new coin you invest in pump but most of the times they won't but you have more better chance to earn on a much older project as they have a history already and most importantly they have a unique characteristic which helps attract more investors.
1655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 03, 2022, 09:10:33 PM
Frankie De jong has to make a decision right now, it’s clear he is passionate about FC Barcelona and Wants to say but the problem is he still needs all the money he can get and won’t want to get a pay cut, personally I would say the La liga should look into their laws and try to adjust it. Such laws has seen the league loss quality place that didn’t initially want to leave the club but the players and the teams didn’t have an option.
With the reading of all situations and as things are happening here mostly peoples believe De Jong is surely selfish person even he is right in his views but now if he wants to stay here at Barcelona then surely he needs to understand this all and try to fix issue because right now Barcelona is not in good position to give him salary which was added at the time of his transfer, and they are trying to sell him for their own sack then, and he wants to stay here then surely he needs to adjust and talk with them about their requirements and then settle this issue.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich both are financially strong and can give him desired salary, but he wants to stay here without any cut is not going to sort out this all in positive way for both parties.
1656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Day Trading be profitable in Crypto ? on: August 03, 2022, 08:16:23 PM
I know there's a lot of day traders in stocks, and I've heard some do it in crypto ( although most do it at a loss ) so I'm wondering if realistically you can do a profitable trade in crypto.
Any types of trading actually. Short, mid, long, day or night, all can be profitable depending on your skills and if it's not profitable then it will have a bad reputation and will be avoided or won't be popular as it is now.

Usdc are from eth, I think that causes you to pay more in the fees but why not use other stable coins which has a cheap fee like usdt since it also supports trc20 chains or you can also use from binance which is called busd and maybe the fees can also depend on the exchange that you are using but I won't sacrifice it over the quality or the reputation of the exchange as you can lose more money the more you look for a bargain.
1657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Potential to Drop in the $32k Area on: August 03, 2022, 05:55:35 PM
We are far away in the $ 32K area, even more than 3 months we are in the range of $ 20k,
But, the 32k that he mean was in may (last 2 months ago) while for now, the price only sits at 23k so we need 9k more to be able to get to 32k. That was possible but I think that will happen around october to november since many saying that we can end the year with a 35k.

of course no one thinks that Bitcoin will drop like now, this is what makes us must always be realistic when invest Selling even though only part of it.
Of course not but there's actually people that think the value can drop because we are done with the bull phase last time and it is usually followed up by a bear. This drop we have now is in fact still small but people are expecting for a 13k or even lower than that. This is the reality when investing in cryptos so one must accept it if they want to earn because a dip like this is still an opportunity that will be used later on when the pump comes back.
1658  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore to unveil plans to becoming a Bitcoin hub on: August 02, 2022, 06:49:58 PM
Every nation in the world wants to be the hub of bitcoin. Even El Salvador which is a lot smaller than Singapore, knows what they can't do something right now about this, but they are on their way to build a "bitcoin city" which would basically host all the big crypto nations in the world.

If you offer them zero taxes, and you give them all the crypto availability you can, then there is no reason why they shouldn't have an office there at least. Would be like wall street but only for crypto instead of stocks. This means that every nation will go after that title, it means more business for them and their people and they will do their best, but not everyone can win.
Hub of btc, but is it different from making btc a legal tender? El salvador already did that and they already have their very own bitcoin city. Now if every other nation wants the same thing then why won't they do it now? Maybe they are waiting for a perfect timing but for now, they are already contented on making btc legal mainly as an asset and not as a currency.

It came to your mouth that El Salvador is only a small country, that is why I am not sure if they can be able to act as a host for other big nations which also wants to get know more about crypto. I only don't understand why you are saying that not all can win? I think this isn't about competition after all.
1659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: August 02, 2022, 05:18:01 PM
about investment I believe both are very good, and I think investing in both is better than you have to choose one, because it is better to put funds in various places than in one place
I kinda feel that if gold was not the same with bitcoin even though both were also offering the place as investment but gold was only to battle with the inflation that happened with the world like today. There's no need to expect gain from investing in gold. Gold was increasing caused by it was following inflation and that's different with bitcoin where people can earn from what they can invest caused by the asset was growing.
Gold "was" the only thing to fight against inflation. And let me tell you, all these super wealthy people? They do not put their money all into gold, you think Elon has billions of dollars in gold? Of course not, dude reached a peak of above 300 billion dollars for a while and if it happened once, it is going to happen again eventually. Meaning that the best thing to do is not to buy gold, it is to own something that generates income.

If you are talking about inflation, then being a baker is better. Because, your flour price may have gone up, but the price of your bread could go up if you want to as well, but if you own gold then you let it be by the market. Hence, owning a business, or at least shares of some business' would be good. Now we have another one, which is crypto, it is still letting the market decide, but at least it is decentralized and that matters.
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos You're Playing That Are not On This Forum on: August 02, 2022, 08:39:56 AM
I don't play at casinos that aren't on this forum because I don't want to risk anything bad going on.
If I was playing at a casino out of this forum and it turned out to something that I do not want to, I don't know what I would do.
Maybe I could have reported it to Customer Support at the casino but either it will be responded to or will be left alone.
But if the casino is on this forum, I can contact their representative to report my problem in addition to contacting their Customer Support.
That’s one fact that I mostly avoid playing in casinos that are not seen in this forum. You can’t ask about its feedbacks because aside from not having its ann  thread, the members here are mostly not knowledgeable about it. Whether you’ll report it or not, you’re left nothing with a choice once they don’t care not to address your problem. So to be more secured, prefer to play in casinos that are connected in this forum.
It is possible to ask feedback. You can do it when you register on that casino or better if they have a forum. You can then ask the members if what are their experience on the site if it's shady or not. I am sure that there will be an honest answers and not biased. Another method is searching some keywords directly at google like typing "feedback for xxx casino" or "review for xxx casino".

The results are mostly from a casino review site. You should only be aware though that not all of them are legit but some are only paid or some are owned by a casino. This is one of the hardest part on why many of us prefer only to play at casinos that are found on this forum.
