So I'm wondering if right now they're collecting contact information.
Then they are doing it wrong. I've used a disposable mail address and it was fine

em-bits. It means nothing to me, it's just a string I keep forgetting what it means. I still go to a conversion site to understand how many BTC are there.

This starts looking good. 0.1 HVC was a (bad) joke.

You know? Exactly this kind of threads do most of harm, even to Bitcoin. A complete outsider who would like to see what's bitcoin and cryptocurrency about, will do a google search and most likely will come here. What will it see? Fight between the coins and scam accusations. And gambling and a lot of Ponzi attempts. Lovely image, isn't it?
Now let's face the truth: Altcoins are GREAT! Some of them bring innovation, some of them have great communities, some rise, some fall. Some are scams too. Some will die soon, some will die later, some will prevail. Bitcoin has the advantage of being the first. Still, bitcoin may learn from them, bitcoin may accept them, bitcoin may evolve. Or may die too. It's a free world.

freebitco.in gives a tiny amount per week. Qoinpro... After 8 months and a fair number of referrals i am still way under the payout limit.
However, a decent faucet is also moonbit.co.in, especially with xapo wallet. But yeah, it's a faucet so don't expect miracles...

If you find the "strength" to give her a flower, the rest will be easy. Start with a flower!

Thank you. It was a great campaign. Shame that the results were not as good as expected.
Good luck with the site!

The signature campaign will end this Sunday
Sad news. It was (is) a great campaign.

You should backup the whole folder, not only the keys.
In case of troouble, you can just load up the wallet file(s), because if you import a (another adress') key into an existing wallet you will indeed end up with a wallet with 2 addresses.

Something I want to try myself soon is investing into a gambling site (NOT gambling!!). It's an idea you could investigte more, please don't throw stones if I am wrong.

Very nice gesture from the sender!
Happy Halloween all!

The only way I can see BTC die is that computing power will become so big that you can do "vanity address" any BTC wallet (full address) you want in minutes. People will see their wallets hacked and emptied. Hackers will dump very fast all they can.
Still, the technology will remain, at least for historic reasons.

Monero Monday Missives
October 27th, 2014
Thank you very much. I'm for making software where even the laziest user benefits. [...]
Therefore, it seems that there is still an important usage case for having the software make effortless the management of multiple Monero addresses (or accounts, if you prefer). While Monero seems to get rid of the need to generate and manage a new address for every single transaction, there is still a need to generate and manage new addresses for each privacy case where external cross-referencing might be plausible.
I don't doubt that there are smarter people who have already thought through all of this, but it does seem to be a usage case that hasn't been fully fleshed out from a practical standpoint in the software (and please correct me if I'm wrong). It seems to currently be a clumsy situation to manage multiple Monero accounts. Each requires its own instance of the wallet software to be running, and each requires its own backup mnemonic. All I'm interested in here is achieving the maximum security that we can in the least tedious way possible for users.
For the security issue, I'd say that even if he doesn't change the address, the lazy user has not much to lose. And creating a new wallet now and then is not a hard task. But managing multiple wallets in one software is a good point and I wish to see the day we will have a wallet software that behaves (at least) like MultiBit or MultiDoge, with all wallets in one program. (Maybe this goes also as an idea for the guys that worked/work on the current GUI wallets)

personally, I think BTC x100 is less likely than XMR x100, but that is just me speculating off course Yep, that's a very good point. However, if BTC continues the current trend, XMR x100 will mean "only" 75x profit... :-/ On another note, did I miss a missive, or it didn't come at all? (Shouldn't they be every week?)

It was indeed an originally Romanian post, it was also in the Romanian area. He got some answers, I think / hope he is OK now.
I'd say that at least this English thread can be considered a closed subject.

Rule: - Must wagered atleast 1BTC to be able to claim the price
This is some kind of reverse giveaway. If somebody loses 1 BTC, you get more than that by referral and you'll give back some pennies.

In the past bitcoin was the only way to hide your wealth. Quite a lot did that. Quite a lot thought that bitcoin is fully anonymous and used it for illegal stuff. And got burned.
Now there are a lot of altcoins for all that, some of them much closer to 100% anonymous. A lot of "bytes" where to spread the wealth. So yeah, there's not much demand for bitcoin, the price falls.
Still, bitcoin is far from dead. And I don't think it will die soon. All the altcoins are bought and sold through bitcoin. There are very very few of them you can trade directly for fiat and usually the additional fees are bigger.
