Did a whois on hashra.com, good chance we might have been duped. I guess I'll be waiting until the 15th to know for sure. Although it seems pretty clear already, could just be an unfortunate coincidence but everything else seems to line up.

"The UK address. 145-157 St John Street, London, EC1V 4PY. According to a BBC report, this is the address used by a company which sells its use as a registered office address. Because there does not seem to be an obligation to check that users of the service are legitimate companies, criminals are attracted to it. According to the BBC, the address is in common use among fake companies operating "boiler room" fake share scams. "

Simon spends all of his time in Hong Kong these day - one thing about Simon - because I've been dealing with him for months now - is that his deliveries are always late but the good news is that HE ALWAYS DOES EVENTUALLY DELIVER and for the life of me he does not respond very quickly at all and in act his lack of response really hurt the image of Hashra.

keep nagging him by email - it's the best way - info@hashra.com

Excellent business model: Keep nagging, and we may deliver. But, if you nag too much, you'll be declared dead to us. Either way, we either scammed you outright or we're mining on your equipment. Pick one!

Does anyone know who runs Bitcoinrigs.org? A brief search here shows that they resell AM and Bitmain gear but are also listed as a possible scam.
I got a shipment notification email from them (through stamps.com) that something was coming my way. I didn't open it, but eventually sandboxed it in a VM and looked at it, which surprisingly had my shipping address and the USPS tracking number is valid and shows something moving in their system.

I've never heard of these guys before, so I'm a little curious as to
a. Who are these people?
b. Where did they get my address?
c. What the hell are they sending me?

Its a bomb, dont touch it

Hmmm! Forward it to some address located in the central US.
16445  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: October 17, 2014, 05:22:37 AM
Did he wrote it?
He didn't write "It", that was Stephen King, but he did write The Cat in the Hat, didn't he?
HOLY Fuck!!!  How can Stephen King write so much?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ8PfXOV1fU
Is that youtube post a question?  Is that post in violation of the terms and conditions of this thread?  Are multiple questions acceptable?
Why did you assume that multiple questions are acceptable?
Why are you responding to ONLY one of my multiple questions?  or should I say NOT responding? NOW, ain't I getting confused?
Sorry to interrupt, did anyone ask about the Hat in the Cat?

Anybody have a blackboard handy?

16447  Other / Off-topic / Re: Man sets newspaper on fire using chi on: October 17, 2014, 05:06:32 AM

Okay, I watched the video, and I didn't read any of the comments on YouTube or any of the comments on this thread. What I witness was a newspaper bursting into flames via a chemical reaction. In fact, you can hear it in the video. The cigarette-smoking, self-proclaimed pure-as-silk guru somehow at one point placed the chemical(s) into the wadded paper, whereupon in a short period of time reacted and the paper flared up.

How close am I?
16448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone keeping track of real estate purchases bought with BTC? on: October 16, 2014, 05:15:29 AM
Not sure how true it is, but some news show showed some dude that bought a half million dollar home and fully paid for it with bitcoins. Anybody know who this dude might be? I'm almost certain I've seen him at a conference once, but after a while all them conference-goers all start looking the same.

You ask me?
Who else is there to ask?
Just a moment; HELLO, IS ANYBODY HERE?

Why didn't you PM me to let me know about all the great questions I was missing?

Conveniently, Jeffrey Scott Ownby, co-founder of Butterfly Labs (BFL) expunged the above info.
16452  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Dragon miner on: October 15, 2014, 07:08:11 AM
This site is linked to debt-coin.com.  Yes, it is a validated scam.  Guy that runs it is a member on this forum.

And who is that? I've connected susan.wu1989 to BFL's PCB Overnight in Chicago. Appreciate quick answer.

Believe it or not, I scored a 2.

I scored 6.
I'm good with that definition. Josh is a psychopath. Yeah, that works for me.
Here's a fun game we can all play !
http://www.businessinsider.com/how-do-you-know-if-youre-a-psychopath-2013-2?op=1
Josh, Bruce, Sonny, Jody, Jeff, Nassar et al, "...don't worry if you score too high. Dutton's book argues that society actually couldn't function without psychopaths."

I wonder which one of the above scores higher. BTW, that's Jeff Ownby on the left.

I scored a 4-5.
16455  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: October 14, 2014, 09:31:57 PM
If all these users are really beneath your intelligence, Josh, maybe you could go refute this guy's posts? Some pretty damning accusations over there.

At the very least, maybe you can tell us who Jeff Ownby/Scott Riley is.

Double check your link, bud: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=349097

Jeff Ownby and Scott Riley are one and the same. I dare anybody to prove me mistaken.

Who's stupid, isn't it like "would you like coffee or tea"?
Would it be snobbier to ask "would you like kava or cauim"?

Can I mix them?
