Well, in theory if there is unlimited space then there should be unlimited diamond, silver, or whatever mineral/metal too. But does it matter? The article states The information on your post states that: "discovered a vast supply of gold on the far side of the universe" "The gold created by the blast is estimated to weigh more than the whole of the Earth’s mass." Yea, lots of gold indeed! But does it matter? It's pretty much out of our reach anyway. It's not like NASA's going to send a space ship or whatever that will collect those gold and over-saturate the gold market here on earth. Cool fact though, but I don't think this is going to significantly affect bitcoin and gold markets.

Decent user interface. I suggest moving the search button somewhere near the search bar though. Also, what advantages does your search engine have compared to other openbazaar search engines like duosear.ch and bazaarbay.org?
Thanks for the suggestion, I've added another search button. Advantages include: NO Javascript required, more relevant results related to what you're searching (think Google vs Bing), faster indexing of new shops, and I don't think duosear.ch or bazaarbay.org are capable of searching OpenBazaar 2.0. I think they're both only on 1.0 In my humble opinion this is the best search engine for OpenBazaar 2.0 in existence for now. Alright. No comment on your engine's supposedly "best" search engine, as I've haven't really used openbazaar in a couple of months already. I'll comment on your user interface instead. I see that you have Bootstrap's sources on your HTML code, but for some reason your website's layout isn't being responsive like it should when using Bootstrap. This is a huge factor in my opinion. You definitely need to work a bit on your HTML code. Also, add a footer. Best of luck.

Oh. Thought Coinbase catered to Canadians. Try out localbitcoins then.
Sorry for laughing at your statement, specifically "canadian bitcoins". You made just made it sound like canadians have their own version of bitcoin. lol
I also thought Coinbase catered to Canadians until I didn't hear back from them and then started to do searches on Google. I found several Canadian's saying that Coinbase did not work for Canadians. Sorry, yeah I meant to buy from an Bitcoin exchange that lets Canadian's purchase in our currency, versus having to convert from CDN to whatever currency and then purchase the Bitcoin. I am checking out LocalBitCoins.com and remember I am new. Why is it that when I search for Buying there are so many different prices all way over the market value of a Bitcoin? See here: Seller Payment method Price / BTC Limits jgomezvip (100+; 98%) Western Union 7,778.68 CAD 1,500 - 2,221 CAD Buy amirbaba44 (0) Cash deposit: CIBC 8,000.92 CAD 1,000 - 7,918 CAD Buy ovocoinman (70+; 97%) Cash deposit: RBC * Fastest Release * 8,269.78 CAD 750 - 1,571 CAD Buy dgon1990 (3000+; 100%) Western Union 8,275.03 CAD 500 - 5,000 CAD Buy gomesdm (1000+; 100%) Paypal 8,339.56 CAD 50 - 300 CAD Buy mostmodest (3000+; 100%) Western Union 8,371.34 CAD 500 - 2,093 CAD Buy mostmodest (3000+; 100%) Moneygram 8,380.97 CAD 500 - 2,095 CAD Localbitcoins is a global market, meaning anyone can set up offers on whatever price they want. Remember to take into consideration their trust levels as this is really important, to prevent you from getting scammed. Look at the user's profile to view how many transactions they've done in the past and their feedback score. Best of luck.

Your BTC decreased in value or price most likely due to exchange fees + price fluctuations. The only thing to do to increase your BTC's value is to simply wait for BTC to rise in price or value.
P.S. Don't you ever decide to use your btc to pay for cloud mining/investment sites.

Why not just use Coinbase instead? Those sites you listed are obviously overpricing their bitcoin by a lot. Or maybe try out https://localbitcoins.com. Just select Canada as your country. Not sure about the prices though. Also, "What is the best way to purchase Canadian Bitcoins". Really? Canadian bitcoins? LOL Coinbase does not let Canadian's sell their Bitcoins and they do not provide support for Canadians. Sorry I am not sure why that is so funny about asking "What is the best way to purchase Canadian Bitcoins? Did I say that incorrectly? I wanted to be specific because when I mention purchasing Bitcoins to other people, they tend to send me to American websites that do not support Canadians. Like Coinbase. Oh. Thought Coinbase catered to Canadians. Try out localbitcoins then. Sorry for laughing at your statement, specifically "canadian bitcoins". You made just made it sound like canadians have their own version of bitcoin. lol

Even though as a non-blockchain developer I would love to get paid in bitcoin. Only thing we can currently do is to just use the fiat they pay us to buy bitcoin/eth. I really don't like using those 3rd party services that converts your fiat salary to btc, I simply just don't trust them. Maybe try negotiating with your boss about this? I wouldn't recommend doing that though, as it would be extra work for your employer. For now just use your fiat to buy btc.

If you're main goal is to make profit, I suggest that you don't do mining instead, and focus on learning how bitcoin works unless you have lots of money to invest in GPUs/ASIC hardware. But if you just want to try it out for learning, then go ahead. What are some good coins to mine on a gpu right now?
Find out yourself. Price and mining difficulty fluctuates, so the "best coin to mine" is constantly changing due to this. Use this calculator: https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators

Hi bitcointalk members. any tips on where to get more information about airdrops?
You can view the list of Airdrops at the Altcoin announcements forum here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0Usually with the tag [AIRDROP] or [FREE AIRDROP]. Remember: Do NOT give them access to your wallet's private keys.

oops did not realise that being a newbie was such a bad thing It's not that being a newbie is a bad thing. People with higher ranks can still talk to and discuss with newbies and Jr members without any discrimination. It's just that people can easily make a hundred of newbie accounts if they gave airdrops to newbies. You're missing the point here.

bitcoin is the first crypto currency which started in 2009 at a rate of cents.. Now it is almost more than 5500$ worth.. Its a future investment and leading crypto currency at the present ..
Stop telling people about bitcoin being an investment or a moneymaking scheme. Bitcoin is made as a global currency without borders. Bitcoin can definitely be a good investment, but it isn't made for that.
|
|
|
Definitely not. People can just spam register new accounts and just log them in to accumulate hours logged in. People can use multiple browsers to bypass the one-account-logged-in-per-browser restriction. Also, I'm pretty sure airdrop managers don't have access to that data(hours logged in), only admins of this forum have.

Yes. Bitcoin is already replacing gold, look at the price. The is not for no reason either. It is because Bitcoin is a better store of value than gold for storing long terms of wealth.
Nope. Like most people are saying, bitcoin and gold are different. Bitcoin can be used online, by sending funds globally without any borders. Gold can be used to make jewelry. The only similarity is that both are sometimes being used as store value. Also, price is not a factor when deciding if bitcoin replaced gold or not. The iPhone 8plus is slightly more expensive than the Galaxy S8, but it doesn't mean the iPhone is better; it just depends on people's opinion/s.

I know ethconnect is a scam/ponzi scheme. I'm definitely not trying to defend ethconnect, but do you have any sources that it's Vietnamese? Here's the whois information on their domain that I've found: I have joined a bit of capital into the Ethconnect.com project. Are you sure this is a Vietnam project? Why though? As if bitconnect didn't look scammy enough.

the funding of the project will be with ICO. When the company start work people can pay fee with cryptocurrency.
That's still very vague. With the information you provided it looks like an ICO is very unnecessary. You said you already prepared a whitepaper, mind showing us instead? send me your mail and i will send you the whitepaper. I'm definitely not downloading the .rar file you sent me. Post your whitepaper link in public. Is there any reason not to?
|
|
|
I'm pretty sure not a single ICO accepts fiat. Depending on what country those old dudes are in, I'm pretty sure they have choices. Would be a lot easier for them if they can use Coinbase though, as it's definitely more noob friendly compared to other services out there.

How to avout being scammed by investment sites? Easy. Never join one in the first place. Simple as that. You want to invest? Buy certain cryptocurrencies and just hold on to them while they hopefully rise in price. Or maybe join and invest in promising ICOs(not recommended).

the best way to identify is to read the roadmap. roadmap will be crap if its a bad project.
Reading the roadmap wouldn't be enough to determine if a project is crap or not, as they only usually indicate there when certain version or feature releases will be. Personally I think checking the team and reading the whitepaper is a lot more important. I still would read the roadmap though.
